00:00North Luzon Expressway is expecting more motorists to return to Metro Manila this weekend after the holiday season.

00:15Tonight, there is still a lot of traffic here in North Luzon Expressway.

00:20And even in the bus terminals of EDSA Cubao and EDSA Camoninga, there are still no passengers.

00:29Until Sharon arrived at a bus terminal in Cubawa.

00:32She traveled to Masbate so that her family can live there.

00:37She traveled alone, carrying a lot of luggage.

00:40She was also pregnant for 6 months and she was with her 3-year-old child.

00:45But when she arrived at the terminal, she couldn't ride the bus.

00:50I went to the ticketing office.

00:52I said, Ma'am, I already booked online.

00:55Then they looked at my name there.

00:57Nothing. I'm already paid.

01:00I said, if that's the case, why? What happened?

01:04But most of the bus terminals in EDSA Cubao and EDSA Camoninga, there are almost no passengers.

01:10Not many people ride and not many people get off.

01:13It's clear from what is expected to happen here in North Luzon Expressway.

01:17Because our countrymen seem to have extended vacation in their provinces.

01:22There are still not many passengers entering and exiting North Luzon Expressway.

01:26And there are still not many passengers in the tollgate of North Luzon Expressway or NLEX.

01:32It's possible that many of those who are on vacation will still use the remaining day before the weekend.

01:38And on the weekend, it is expected that there will be the largest number of passengers, especially those returning from Metro Manila.

01:45According to the NLEX, 10% is expected to increase the volume of traffic until January 6.

01:51At present, 1,500 patrol officers, marshals, security, incident response team, and the NLEX-ESETEX-NLEX Connector are still deployed.

02:00The NLEX promises that it will not close the road until Monday.

02:06In Balintawak Toll Plaza, and you can see behind me, there are not many vehicles in the tollgate.

02:14Because we expect that it is possible that tomorrow night and especially on the weekend, there will be a lot of motorists here in North Luzon Expressway.

02:21We are also reminding our motorists to always load your RFIDs so that you can avoid traffic jams.
