00:00The former President Rodrigo Duterte has already been charged by several groups in the disbarment case.

00:05But the case has not yet been settled, the former President's camp has already delayed the case.

00:11The disbarment group also asked the former President Duterte to suspend his lawyer's license.

00:23Vice President Sara Duterte is not the only one who has a disbarment case now.

00:28Her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, has a similar case with a high sentence.

00:34This is after several lawyers, human rights groups, and families of victims of extrajudicial killings filed a case to remove the former President's lawyer's license.

00:46The group also accused Duterte of violating the Supreme Court's new Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability, or CPRA, for lawyers.

00:58Duterte also repeatedly used inappropriate words that are not appropriate for a lawyer.

01:05Our Supreme Court issued new canons for professional regulations for lawyers.

01:10It is very strict.

01:12We are always suspicious of the Supreme Court's actions.

01:18President Duterte's actions, when he was still the President,

01:23all of us here are witnesses.

01:25I said, the late-night humiliation, when there is nothing to do,

01:29the abuse of innocent people, women,

01:33when he confessed to a murder,

01:37we believe that this should be tested in the new canons issued by the Supreme Court.

01:44Another of the accused is the one who followed Duterte's orders to the police to kill those who fought in the war on drugs.

01:52It is clear that he followed the orders of a lawyer because he should be the one to defend the Filipinos.

01:59As a victim, it is clear that his actions and actions are in violation of the principle of human rights.

02:07The rights of the citizens are what he should abide by under the law.

02:12Duterte's words prove that he has nothing to do with this.

02:17We have lost so many loved ones because of the endless killings of certain parts of the state.

02:25We urge the Supreme Court to prove that even the lawyers are not above the law.

02:32The group of people who filed the case was also shocked when former President Duterte stated

02:37that he is the father of the lawyer in the impeachment case of VP Sara.

02:41We heard that President Duterte presented himself as a lawyer to his son

02:51in the upcoming impeachment proceedings and trial.

02:55In our opinion, every lawyer should be prepared to present himself as a lawyer and as a prosecutor.

03:10We think that Duterte's profession is being violated.

03:16The Supreme Court also requested that while the disbarment case is pending,

03:22Duterte's lawyer license should be suspended.

03:25This is the first disbarment case against former President Duterte in a high court.

03:30However, it was dismissed by Duterte's lawyer and former Presidential Spokesperson,

03:35Attorney Salvador Panelo.

03:37His case has no legal basis.

03:40Duterte is not yet considered a criminal because this case is not yet in court.

03:46Duterte did not admit that he is behind the EJK even in Congress.

03:51As for the former President, until now, there is no personal comment on the disbarment case.
