00:00On to Mohamed Salah and obviously, you know, a record-breaking season already in a number of different ways.

00:12It seems like he's breaking new records, new boundaries every week, whether that's, you know, all-time assist records in the Premier League,
00:19he's breaking into the top 10, you know, goals as well this season, as well he's on top of both of those charts.
00:26And then, of course, in terms of Liverpool's history and Premier League history as well, it's just sort of, you know,
00:32continuing to break so many boundaries, so many records.
00:35How impressed have you been with him so far this season?
00:38There's all that talk about his contract situation as well.
00:41He's just a remarkable footballer, really, for Liverpool.
00:45Yeah, he looks this season like he's got better, to be honest with you, with age.
00:49He looks like he's almost embraced how he's developed in terms of his age.
00:58You know, he isn't maybe trying to do the things that he was capable of five years ago, six years ago,

01:11And instead, he's become a little bit more of an assister.
01:17He's got this ball that he plays with the outsides of his boots,
01:21whether that's an early ball into the run of the striker or across the box.
01:28The defenders just can't handle it a lot of the time.
01:31And again, I'll come back to the same thing, it's Gakpo who keeps defenders getting,
01:36because he can go past them, he can do a little shimmy and show quick feet.
01:40And again, you know, he wants to get the ball to his left foot, but it's difficult to stop sometimes.
01:46And, you know, the way he links with Alexander-Arnold, especially in the second half,
01:49and he's less who he's really impressed with.
01:52But yeah, it seems that every game now, it's inevitable he's going to score.
01:59And I don't say that lightly.
02:02Bookmakers must be taking a little bit of a killing if people are batting Mo Salah to score every game,
02:07because no matter the opposition, he rocks a threat and he obviously takes penalties as well.
02:15And yeah, as we approach the 1st of January now, the talk moves on to Mo Salah being able to sign a pre-contract abroad,
02:24with the same with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
02:29But Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah for me are different because they're 32-33 respectively.

02:36Of course, we know Trent Alexander-Arnold links heavily with Real Madrid.
02:41And yeah, as January the 1st approaches, those situations are definitely going to become a little bit more intense, I think.
