00:07who are selling illegal products online,

00:10including a man who was found in Tarlac.

00:41after the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group arrested them in Tarlac

00:45for selling illegal products.

00:48The money will be taken by the suspect

00:51in exchange for the illegal products being sold by PNP-ACG and PENOSASAN.

01:04The suspect's wife was unable to do anything but cry.

01:08According to PNP-ACG spokesperson,

01:10Police Lieutenant Walen May Arancilio,

01:12the suspect's modus was booked

01:14because of the alleged cyber-patrolling of the authorities

01:17because of the illegal products being sold online.

01:21The suspect sent an advertisement

01:23that he was being sold firecrackers.

01:27Our cyber-cops engaged with them

01:30and we found out that the suspect was being sold illegal firecrackers.

01:35He also did not have a registered permit from the BFP,

01:41City Hall, or BIR.

01:44When they engaged, they agreed for a meet-up.

01:59Since he used information and communications technology

02:04to do illegal activities

02:06or the selling of illegal firecrackers was done online,

02:11the punishment will be heavier

02:14compared to the traditional crime.

02:17The penalty will be 1 degree higher.

02:21That's 6 years and 1 day to 12 years imprisonment.

02:25Since December 6,

02:27PNP-ACG has carried out 7 operations

02:30where 5 people were arrested.

02:3223,000 illegal firecrackers were recovered

02:37and counted by King Kong, Cabase, Goodbye Philippines, and many more.

02:42This is just the beginning of the new year.

02:45PNP-Anti-Cyber-Crime Group will continue patrolling online

02:50so that the illegal firecrackers will not be sold.

02:56the firecrackers were purchased from licensed stores.
