00:00We have that heavier, darker band of snow. You can see here where that's denoted by some heavier
00:06snow. I do want to zoom out a little bit here from Green Bay all the way to Milwaukee. This
00:11is a zone that we are anticipating some higher numbers, but let's take a look at some of the
00:15numbers thus far. The storm does have a history even if we look at areas across Minnesota,
00:20even Pelican Rapids, Minnesota over two inches, even further north Holt, Minnesota at seven inches
00:27of snow, even near North Dakota at the worst, the sixth Harvey, North Dakota at six inches of snow.
00:33Of course, these are just over the past 24 hours. Let's take a look though further ahead. A lot of
00:39this snow has already fallen, already done. This corridor, this stripe where we could see a little
00:45bit more six to 12, that does include Green Bay. Your accurate local storm index is high as 15
00:51inches. Now across the western flank, a lot of that has already fallen. Green Bay, you're still
00:56in the thick of it. We're forecasting six to 10 inches. A great tool to have your AccuWeather
01:00Wintercast. This goes through early tomorrow. By the way, still talking about some breezy
01:05conditions there across parts of the plains, even the northern Rockies. So heads up here through
01:10Thursday. Watch this storm, Damien. I'm going to toss it over to you as it continues to barrel
01:16south and east, moving into Detroit. This is around 7 30 a.m. Eastern time Friday,
01:21eventually dumping offshore. Now this is where things could get interesting. This is a very
01:27nuanced forecast. That's right, Bree. And this thing is going to bring two things here to the
01:32northeast. It's going to bring cold and it's going to bring snow. So let's get right into
01:36the latest here. This Alberta Clipper, it's going to pass just to the south of the Great Lakes,
01:40moving across the Midwest into the northeast. In addition to that, there's also going to be
01:44a strengthening and intensifying storm system just off the coast that is also going to bring a chance
01:49of snowfall here across the northeast. So here's the overall setup for Friday. You can see that
01:54pretty much any area right here highlighted in blue, we will see a chance of some snow flurries
01:59for Friday afternoon into Friday evening. In fact, you see this darkest shade right here,
02:03blue just off of Lake Erie between Buffalo and Erie, Pennsylvania there along the New York
02:08PA state line. That's where it looks like we'll see the highest accumulation of snowfall as we
02:13head throughout Friday. Another area I want to highlight is going to be South Jersey down
02:17towards the Virginia coast. We will see some rainfall, so it's not all snow. Some areas are
02:22going to see some showers here for your Friday afternoon. Once again, in addition to the snow,
02:26we're also tracking cold. This is what it's going to feel like Friday evening and Friday night.
02:30Take a look at this. This is our AccuWeather exclusive Real Feel scale. And in these areas
02:35right here highlighted in this darkest shade of blue, this is where it's going to feel like the
02:40single digits. So in addition to the snow, it's also going to be dangerously cold here for some
02:45of these areas. As we head into Friday night, that offshore low pressure system is going to
02:50strengthen and intensify. That is going to bring north winds here to the northeast coast, and that
02:55is going to kick off more snowfall here stretching from Long Island all the way up through the
03:00Canadian Maritime as we hit throughout Friday, Friday evening and Friday night. And then as we
03:05head into Saturday, the one constant is going to be cold. It's going to be cold across the northeast
03:09on Saturday, but it's also going to be a messy forecast whenever you look at the overall chance
03:13of snow here across the region. We will see some snow chances, not as high as Friday,
03:18but it will be a messy forecast here heading into the weekend.
