00:00The sector of education is still a priority.
00:03That's what some senators are trying to achieve,
00:05in line with the batikos in their budget for the next year.

00:14Senate Committee on Finance Chairperson Senator Grace Poe
00:17defended the budget for the next year,
00:20particularly in education.
00:22According to Poe,
00:23the proposed 2025 budget has gone through a difficult process

00:30Poe argued that the sector of education is still a priority
00:34and added the budget for students and teachers.
00:38DepEd Secretary Sunny Angara
00:41said that despite the promises and good words that were given to them,
00:45DepEd is still in the budget cut for computerization.
00:49But Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri
00:51believes that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. can still do a remedy.
00:56He can say that the President hasn't signed it yet.
00:59So before he receives it,

01:08the Congressional leaders,
01:09both the Senate President and the Speaker,
01:11that I want a few things further amended in your BICAP.
