00:00Authorities are now investigating the crash of a ship of the China Coast Guard

00:06based on a tracker in San Felipe, Zambales, even though it's not there.

00:11According to the Philippine Coast Guard, this is a possible case of spoofing.

00:21To remind the residents of San Felipe, Zambales,

00:24the crash of the first ship of the China Coast Guard

00:27that has a body number 21543, on the morning of December 10.

00:31It came out of an AIS tracker used by the residents

00:35to monitor the dredging activities in the area.

00:38According to the tracker, there are four other ships in the area.

00:41The residents of the Philippine Coast Guard in Zambales reported this.

00:45And the Philippine Coast Guard checked again

00:47the location of the said ship of the China Coast Guard.

00:50We have located the vessel of concern,

00:52but it is near Hong Kong, in Guangzhou.

00:56So it could not have been in that particular location.

01:03had a visual sighting of the vessel, it's a glitch.

01:20they saw three ships with a Philippine flag, but they were owned by a Chinese company.

01:25The PCG inspected one of the ships that was undocked,

01:43some of the crew are Filipino, some of them are also Chinese nationals.

01:47There is a possibility that these dredgers

01:53were also being contacted by the Chinese Coast Guard

01:57to do AIS spoofing for them.
