00:00My name is Muhammad Fizi Bin Mayasin.
00:09I work as an Academic Director at Sultan Mizan Zainal Bidin Polytechnic.
00:14I represent my group, Automated WCO Processor.
00:19The idea of how I got to produce biodiesel
00:23is based on environmental pollution.
00:27If we look at it, a lot of environmental pollution
00:29is caused by the waste of cooking oil in the oven.
00:34So that's where we got the idea of how we can produce biodiesel
00:39that we can reuse and we can increase the value of the oil
00:44to make it a biodiesel that we can use for our diesel production.
00:51To produce biodiesel from cooking oil,
00:55we need three main ingredients for the process.
00:59We call it the process of transification.
01:02The first ingredient is cooking oil,
01:04which we can get from canteens and cafeterias.
01:09The second ingredient is methanol.
01:14The third ingredient is catalyst.
01:17These three ingredients are what we use to produce biodiesel
01:21from the cooking oil.
01:26This is the cooking oil that we get from the canteens.
01:30We put the cooking oil into a tank
01:33and we heat the oil for two hours
01:38at a temperature of 60 to 65 degrees Celsius.
01:41After the cooking oil is mixed with methanol and nitrogen dioxide,
01:47we stir the cooking oil at a temperature of 60 to 65 degrees Celsius.
01:54The cooking oil is mixed with methanol and nitrogen dioxide
02:00after the heating process.
02:02After seven hours, the oil will be separated
02:07from the biodiesel cooking oil and glycerol.
02:11And this is the final result,
02:14which is the biodiesel oil from the cooking oil.
