00:00Hi I'm Theo and this is People on the Street. Today I'm out in Manchester asking people
00:03about internet connection speeds and simply that's because one in five people have reported
00:07having slow speeds and that impacting either their professional life or personal life.
00:12We want to know if people have experienced them themselves or whether generally it's
00:15been fine for them.
00:16Yes, absolutely, especially in student accommodation. Now I live elsewhere and the speed is a lot
00:21better but in student accommodation it was actually atrocious and the internet went down
00:25a lot, especially during exam period, which was not it.
00:30I used to work at home for a lawyer's fellow, sometimes, I think I was, I'm with Virgin,
00:38so and so, you know, sometimes it goes down, I mean everything goes down, at my dad's I
00:41have talk talk, that goes down as well.
00:43I literally just noticed this, we flew into Manchester today, a few hours ago, and I noticed
00:50my internet's very slow right now but I have unlimited data and like European SIM cards
00:56so it should be working but it's very slow, so I'm happy you brought that up.
