00:00Sicilia, it's not a terrible thing. It's a violation. I don't think any of these things. No, there's three. There's three, right?
00:08There's three
00:09It's the it's the accumulation. It's this plus this a plus B plus C
00:14equals pattern and
00:16I don't know that we can safely say that this won't continue
00:22Let's go to Dan who's next on 97 want a ticket hello Dan
00:26Hey, how you doing? I agree with you a hundred percent and I think Roger Goodell has a great opportunity here. It's positive
00:33It's proactive to create a one infraction system of the NFL policy
00:40Where if you have any infraction whether it's gambling whether it's guns, whatever
00:46There has to be some sort of basic education system put in place for that player that was failed by the college
00:52system that passed him through and
00:55Didn't teach this guy how to conduct himself
00:58I mean all these colleges want to exploit and if he wants to get in the way of you know
01:02Any claims of exploitation Goodell?
01:04I mean if you want to do that
01:06Then he will do something to take care of these players and you can tell when you talk to Jameson Williams
01:10He's a good-hearted kid. He just maybe was from a family that didn't necessarily have
01:16Education is maybe the highest priority. Maybe it was survival. And so now you've got an opportunity
01:21It's the NFL if you mess up
01:23They're there to catch you rather than just just to play you on the field until you can't play the idea of trading him
01:29It is silly. This is like the slave trade when you've outlived your usefulness you get traded. No, okay
01:35Hold on. Hold on. Hold on
01:38That's sports. It's not like the straight slave trade at all people make when you outlive your usefulness. Yeah people that's not I
01:45I
01:46Hate that analogy. Okay in sports when you outlive your usefulness
01:52It's not offensive to move on from that player and I'm not even in favor of getting rid of JMO over this
01:58But I can't stand that analogy. I don't buy that at all. And I don't know. It's the college system necessarily that let him down
02:04Somewhere along the line idea. What is family? Yeah, I don't either and I don't like the implication but but
02:10And you know, I need there's still stuff that I'm like, oh crap we got to do that
02:16Like I'm a grown man with kids and there are there are things I'm like, oh god
02:20We gotta get insurance for that. Don't wait. I mean there's paperwork things that you have to take care of
02:25Two four eight five three nine ninety seven ninety seven
02:29Given when I mess those up, it doesn't end up on the front page
02:32But I haven't been suspended from work for any of it yet, right?
02:36Jerry you're next I Jerry
02:39Hold on for a sec
02:42You're gonna have to take us off Bluetooth to roll up your windows or whatever the situation is because that is is a beautiful day
02:47It is a beautiful day, but that is super loud background noise
02:50So if you could take us off Bluetooth Jerry, that would be great. Okay, we're just rolling better
02:55sir, all righty morning guys, I
02:59Happen to have a friend who has some contacts in the Detroit Police Department in the day years
03:05Two days after the suspension was announced. He told me about this incident. We're speculating that this is why
03:12He was actually suspended and the why the NFL handled it
03:16So oddly that you never really heard the NFL come out and suspend him
03:21He was and he accepted the suspension before it was ever formally announced by the NFL if they ever have
03:27But honestly listening to the discussion now, I mean they had to have considered
03:32What if this story gets out then we're gonna look like idiots for saying we suspend for PD
03:36But I think it's possible still possible that this is really the suspension
03:41Why he was suspended
03:44Because it did happen, you know back on October 8th and all this just became known by the team and this was really a team suspension
03:51But in my opinion
03:52It's time to move on. I think you can you can fill his shoes
03:57He's not gonna be in my opinion a hundred reception guy
04:01I'd say are you saying move on from now? Are you saying just let his contract play out?
04:06I think it's time to move on you give you know, there's only so many chances you can give a guy
04:11You've already reached your breaking point. I
04:16Yes, and I think in part because he has
04:20some trade value it's declining with this stuff and
04:24You know, there is a bigger hole to fill I do think again that he is his role could be filled
04:32easier than a
04:34big time edge rusher can be filled and
04:37You know the physical fact that this has gone a few times for me is it's he's never
04:42I don't think he's ever going to quite be what we hope he's gonna be
04:46Well, it's a it's a damn shame
04:50If bad off-the-field decisions impact him on the field a damn shame
04:56Two four eight five three nine ninety seven ninety seven and I'm not there yet. Like he is I'm not there yet
05:01Gotta move on from him. No, I'm not there yet. Carson Anderson 97 won the ticket
