00:25How about this though? Three to one victory yesterday, which doesn't really tell the whole
00:28tale, the story, because when you're looking at the Detroit Tigers, you never really think
00:31of their bullpen as being all that dominant. Mize goes four and one third innings pitch
00:35gives up one earned run. But how about the bullpen? Miller, Brieski, Holton and Foley
00:39shutting it down all the way through into extras to limit the Kansas City Royals to
00:43one total run. But also from a Detroit Tigers perspective, they struggled in this game going
00:47up against Cole Reagan's. He went seven innings, four hits, one earned run, six strikeouts
00:52in that game through 105 pitches. Kansas City's got some pretty good young, talented pitchers,
00:56but these are the games you have to win. If you want to get back into the wildcard
00:59race, Dubsie, you got to beat the teams that are in front of you in the standings. Now,
01:02the Royals do have a game and a half lead in the wildcard race over the third place
01:06team, but the Detroit Tigers only a game and a half climbing into third place here in that
01:11final wildcard spot playing their best baseball. And as I tipped off before the, or when we
01:15were talking a little bit earlier in our number one, they got Tarek Skubal on the mound today.
01:19Another victory against the Royals really could have the Royals panicking in this spot.
01:23The Royals are one of those teams, Dubsie, I absolutely love to root for, and I can't
01:27wait. I hope they make the playoffs here because they deserved it by having a great season.
01:30But boy, oh boy, these games in these high leverage pressure situations, every game matters.
