00:00Joining us now is Tulsi Gabbard, former 2020 Democrat presidential candidate and Fox News contributor.
00:07Tulsi, you were there today along with President Trump.
00:10How important was it for him to be there today?
00:15You know, one one thing that ran through my mind as I was there, joining President Trump
00:20and honoring the ultimate sacrifice that these 13 service members paid, sharing the sorrow
00:27that these Gold Star families still feel and will always feel at the loss of their loved
00:32ones.
00:33Meanwhile, where is Kamala Harris?
00:35Where is Joe Biden?
00:36Well, Joe Biden's on vacation and Kamala Harris is running a campaign based on joy and vibes
00:43and laughing her way around.
00:45I can tell you who wasn't laughing were those families.
00:48Some of the survivors of that attack in this disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:53This is personal for me, Judge, and so many other Americans who know firsthand the cost
00:59of war.
01:00We've seen and experienced it firsthand.
01:02We know how important it is to have a commander in chief who values every single one of our
01:07lives and who has the strength and the courage to exercise all means of diplomacy, meeting
01:13with dictators, allies, adversaries, partners in the pursuit of peace, recognizing that
01:19war is always and should always be a last resort.
01:23I endorse President Trump today because he has those qualities and he's proven that he
01:29is that commander in chief.
01:30Kamala Harris has proven she is not.
01:33We are closer to the brink of nuclear war now than ever before, closer to World War
01:37Three because of Harris and Biden and their policies.
01:41You know, Tulsi, a mother of one of the slain troops spoke out against Kamala Harris today.
01:49Take a listen.
01:51Vice President Harris is now running to be commander in chief.
01:54I wonder, do you have a message for her?
01:56You are with the whole administration in all of this.
02:01You hold the same accountability as President Biden did.
02:05You were right beside him in making these decisions.
02:08This administration has tried to sweep it under the rug, and that's absolutely not going
02:13to work for this nation.
02:17You know, Tulsi, your response to that?
02:20You know, I want to know if Kamala Harris has personally called every one of these 13
02:27families and the families of those who came home injured.
02:30There was a triple amputee there today, there to honor the loss of his brothers and sisters.
02:35Has she called them to apologize, to apologize for the decision that they made that resulted
02:40in this disastrous withdrawal and an explosion and an attack that took these 13 service members'
02:48lives that was completely preventable?
02:51Kamala Harris is completely unfit to serve as our commander in chief.
02:56Voters, regardless of whether you're Democrats or Republicans, need to know that truth, because
03:00that's really what this election is about, Judge.
03:02It's not about Democrats versus Republicans.
03:05It's about having a president who stands for freedom, peace and prosperity, which is Donald
03:10Trump, versus having a president in Kamala Harris who attacks our freedoms and censors
03:15us and uses political retaliation, who has pushed us to the brink of war, and who's created
03:22this economic hardship for Americans across the country.
03:24That's really the choice that we have before us.
03:27And for me, as a service member, as a veteran, it's a very clear choice.
03:31I love our country.
03:32I cherish peace and freedom.
03:34And I'm supporting Donald Trump in this election so that he can be our commander in chief once
03:38again.
03:39It's interesting, Tulsi, CNN today tried to attack Trump for attending the wreath ceremony.
03:44Take a listen.
03:45Is he politicizing these soldiers' deaths?
03:47Should he even be at Arlington National Cemetery if he's going to make some politics out of
03:52this?
03:53I just look at President Biden under whose leadership we actually ended and made the
03:57tough decision to end our nation's longest war.
04:01That was the right decision by President Biden.
04:03You know, I guess the question, Tulsi, should have been, why wasn't Biden in attendance
04:07as well?
04:09Let me ask you, just four years ago, you were one of many Democrats running against Donald
04:14Trump.
04:15Today you endorse Trump.
04:16Why?
04:17Like I said, I've just made the case.
04:20The choice in this election is very clear.
04:23And I'm confident that if elected as president again, Donald Trump, he has the strength and
04:27the backbone to stand up to the military-industrial complex and keep us out of these unnecessary
04:33wars of choice.
04:34I want to point back to that clip you just played.
04:37Let's remember that Joe Biden on that debate stage did not even remember that his decision
04:43resulted in the deaths of 13 of my brothers and sisters in uniform.
04:47Donald Trump this morning, he didn't have a big crowd out there at Arlington Cemetery.
04:51It was him standing and grieving with these Gold Star families for hours.
04:57This wasn't just a drive-by photo op.
04:59He stayed with them for hours and helped to console them and thank them for their sacrifice
05:05that they have made for our great country.
05:08Was it emotional for the president?
05:10It was extremely emotional.
05:12It was extremely emotional for everyone who was there.
05:14It was groups of loved ones and family and friends.
05:18It was two survivors who were there at that attack at Abbey Gate in Kabul who came back,
05:23who were seriously injured now for the rest of their lives.
05:27It was such a powerful, powerful day.
05:29I'm grateful to have been there to offer my own sincere gratitude for their service and
05:34sacrifice.
05:35It's so important that we have leaders who do this, who not just do it for a photo op,
05:41but actually express, as President Trump did this morning, I saw it, I felt it, I experienced
05:45it, the sorrow that he felt for the great loss that not only these families have felt,
05:50but our country endures.
05:52Well, and he clearly didn't look at his watch as Joe Biden did.
05:56Tulsi Gabbard, thank you so much for joining us tonight.
