No Water in Reservoirs in Joint Karimnagar District : మహారాష్ట్రలోని నాసిక్‌లో పుట్టిన గోదావరి నది మొత్తం 1,400 కిలోమీటర్లకు పైగా ప్రయాణించి అంతర్వేది వద్ద బంగాళాఖాతంలో కలుస్తుంది. తెలంగాణలో నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లా కందకుర్తి వద్ద గోదావరి మన రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రవేశిస్తుంది. కందకుర్తి నుంచి నేరుగా శ్రీరాంసాగర్ ప్రాజెక్టు అక్కడి నుంచి కడెం ప్రాజెక్టు మీదుగా శ్రీపాద ఎల్లంపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టు వైపు గోదావరి ప్రవహిస్తుంది. ప్రస్తుతం మహారాష్ట్ర నుంచి పెద్దగా వరద రాకపోవడంతో ప్రాజెక్టులన్నీ నీరు లేక బోసిపోతున్నాయి.
