01:00Here's the story. Famous football star O.K. Oakens comes to the Park Hotel to auction off jewels for charity. But the crooks capture O.K. and substitute a man who looks like him to steal the jewels.
01:20The kids discover the switch and they try to tell Joanne's Uncle Fred a security guard, but Mr. Kane, the hotel manager, doesn't believe the kids and orders them away. The crooks take the real football star away in a wheelchair with his face hidden under bandages. But the gang is able to follow them to their hideout while Joanne rides off to telephone her uncle at the hotel.
01:46Frankie and Doc sneak close to the hideout, which is being guarded by some pretty mean-looking dogs. They hear one crook tell the other to turn the dogs loose.
01:58Turn them loose.
02:05You really want those hounds running all over the yard?
02:08Isn't there a switch in here that opens a kennel gate?
02:12Right there. But it's not such a hot idea. They make an awful lot of noise.
02:17Don't tell me you're afraid.
02:19Well, they don't know me too good. They jump all over me. Look, if we hear anything, we can turn them loose then. How about it?
02:29Yeah, O.K.
02:32Hazel, Chase, let's get out of here.
02:34We've got to stay awake. Kane doesn't want to take any chances.
02:37Kane, huh? So he's the big cheese we're working for.
02:41Now, if you want to stay alive, you forget his name.
02:44Pretty sharp. A hotel manager arranging his own stick-up.
02:52Did you hear that? Mr. Kane is one of the crooks.
02:57Joanne's on her way to phone him and tell him that we're here.
03:08Red hand. Red hand.
03:23Mr. Kane's office.
03:25Miss McGill, this is Joanne.
03:31No, I don't have any idea where your Uncle Fred is, Joanne. What number are you calling from?
03:38Yes, I see. Well, if I can find him, I'll have him call you right back.
03:43It's very important. Tell him we found O.K.
03:47You found O.K.? Oh, Mr. Kane just came in. Perhaps he can help. It's Fred's niece, Joanne, the little girl.
03:54I have no time.
03:56She's very upset. Something about O.K. opens.
03:59Oh, well, if the little girl's upset, I'd better hear what she has to say.
04:08I won't be needing you anymore today, Miss McGill.
04:11Oh, and she's very anxious to talk to her Uncle, too.
04:14Of course. Good night, Miss McGill.
04:21Hello. Now, what's all this about Mr. O.K.?
04:28It's a get-a-hold of my Uncle Fred. Tell him I got him.
04:32Was that Mr. Kane? Uh-huh.
04:35Did you tell him where O.K. is? I didn't get a chance.
04:38Don't let it bother you. He already knows.
05:02Come on. Let's play some cards.
05:07Come on.
05:13We've got to move fast.
05:16Doc and I are going in that tailgate.
05:19Joanne, you stay by the other window and keep an eye on the bad guys.
05:24J.R., you and little Bill go over by the gate and stack up those boxes laying around.
05:29You sure picked a bum time to be neat.
05:33It's not that.
05:35If the bad guys come back,
05:38and flambles in,
05:40then you knock all the boxes over.
05:42That'll attract their attention.
05:44So if they go over there to look, we can get away from here.
05:49Hurry up.
06:00Genius.
06:02Crude.
06:03It's funny. Genius.
06:08Oh, come on. Play, play.
06:29Come on.
07:00Come on. Let's play some cards.
07:03Come on.
07:28I thank you kindly, sir.
07:32Gin.
07:51Come on.
07:52Sit down.
07:53Pay attention.
07:55You'll win a little.
07:57Maybe.
08:02Come on.
08:32Jump.
08:34No.
08:35No, no problem.
08:36Why?
08:37Well, I had a most peculiar call from one of those meddlesome brats.
08:42Al, go check on our friend back there.
08:52See?
08:53All in control.
08:54All in control.
08:55All in control.
08:56All in control.
08:57All in control.
08:58All in control.
08:59All in control.
09:00All in control.
09:01All in control.
09:02That cane guy worries too much.
09:06Maybe.
09:10Hey, okay.
09:11You tell him.
09:12Everything all right?
09:20Well, come on, superstar. Speak up.
09:32Come on, speak up.
09:34What's the matter with you?
09:37Come on, answer him.
09:39He put the other walkie-talkie inside the empty face bandage.
09:45Look, buddy, when I speak to you...
09:48Go away, will ya?
09:50Now, now, superstar.
09:53That's no way to talk to me.
09:54I'm a big fan of yours.
09:56Now, buddy, get lost.
09:57I'm gonna get some rest, okay?
09:59What's wrong with this voice?
10:01It's just them bandages over his mouth.
10:03Come on, let's get back to the card game.
10:22I feel better with those guard dogs out there.
10:24I'm gonna turn them loose.
10:26They'll only make a lot of noise.
10:29Come on.
10:59I wish they'd stop barking.
11:01Get away from the dog.
11:02You may lose interest.
11:05Hey, they're moving away.
11:08Yeah, but not far enough.
11:11Hey, I sure want to thank you guys
11:13for helping me get out of there.
11:15Yeah, well, maybe it wasn't such an improvement.
11:18Now we all could.
11:20Doc always likes to cheer us up.
11:22If only I could cheer him up.
11:25If only I'd been able to reach my Uncle Fred.
11:28He's a security guard at the hotel.
11:31Yeah, I remember.
11:34Wait, I did leave a message for him.
11:37That may bring us help.
11:39I asked Miss McGill to tell him we found O.K.
11:43Exactly what was the message, Miss McGill?
11:46Uh, she said, um, we are O.K.
11:49But you say she seemed very upset.
11:52Oh, Mr. Cain, I found Fred for you.
11:54Mr. Cain, what did my niece want?
11:56Is anything wrong?
11:57Nothing at all, except her manners.
12:00She hung up on me.
12:02Well, that doesn't sound like Joanne.
12:05I'll make a call.
12:07She was at a pay phone, and maybe she's still there.
12:10But I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
12:12After all, she said, we are O.K., her exact words.
12:17So that's how you figured it out.
12:19You guys in the Red Hand Gang are really something, you know.
12:22We're still stuck here,
12:24and surrounded by vicious beasts.
12:28They'll be getting dark soon.
12:30We can make a run for the fence then.
12:32Yeah, and dogs bite in the dark, too, you know.
12:36And they don't take their teeth out at night
12:38and put it in a glass of water.
12:40I don't know what you're talking about.
12:43And they don't take their teeth out at night
12:45and put it in a glass of water.
12:47We'll think of something. We'll get out of here.
12:50If they find that dummy over there,
12:53why, we're still here.
13:02Do you want me to try the number again?
13:04No, I guess not.
13:06Miss McGill, what does it say underneath the phone number?
13:09That's her message. We are O.K.
13:14But this doesn't say we are O.K. It says we found O.K.
13:17But that doesn't make any sense.
13:19Nobody finds O.K. They feel O.K.
13:25Oh, dear me. I must have written it wrong.
13:28Maybe not. Maybe you wrote it exactly right.
13:32Well, Mr. Kane, I think we have a lead.
13:34I think my niece called because she knew something about O.K. O.K.'s.
13:37I'm gonna call the phone company and get the address of that phone booth from where she called.
13:40Look, look, we have a serious problem here, Mr. Norris.
13:43So you can just forget about what some nincompoop little girl said.
13:47Well, I'll just use the phone somewhere else.
13:50I forbid it!
14:08We should hurry up and get dark.
14:11It won't be long now, fellas.
14:13Hey, wouldn't you guys like to be there
14:15when those two greens discover they've been babysitting in your dead bed?
14:19Uh-uh.
14:21Uh-uh.
14:23But why, boss? We've got no problems.
14:26I don't want a discussion.
14:28You just get O.K. out of there and meet me at my place.
14:32Pardon me, superstar.
14:35I hate to disturb your beauty sleep, but we gotta make a little move.
14:40Come on, let's go.
14:42I'm bucking away.
15:13What's going on?
15:24When we go, we stay together.
15:27We walk towards the fence.
15:29You don't run until you have to, O.K.?
15:43They must have found the dummy.
15:45And in a minute, they're about to find six more.
15:59Quiet, you guys. They still don't know where we are.
16:04I tied him to that bed with at least 20 knots. He couldn't get loose.
16:07Never mind that. We gotta find him.
16:09The booth is on the corner of River Street and Front.
16:11I'll meet you there, lieutenant.
16:13They must be somewhere in the vicinity, and I have a feeling they need lots of help.
16:29Maybe there's another way out of here. Let's look.
16:32O.K.
16:40Look. Movie film of you, O.K.?
16:43Yeah. The guy that impersonated me must have used it to study up.
16:47Come on, let's not go and get us out of here.
16:50I can't see any other door, so there's no other way to get out of here.
16:57Let's look in that shed.
17:03There's no way out of here.
17:05Let's look in that shed.
17:19It's a police helicopter. Think they know?
17:22Just a routine patrol.
17:24We ought to get back inside till it passes.
17:28That could be the police. I knew it.
17:32But they're leaving. Listen.
17:36We gotta figure some way of signaling them.
17:39And if we step outside, we're done for.
17:48Ask that chopper to patrol this whole area. We'll try and spot him from the ground.
18:02They're coming back. They must know something.
18:05Doesn't mean anything. Simmer down.
18:08It's still up there.
18:10Hey, I saw a police car go past the gate a minute ago.
18:14We've gotta let them know where we are.
18:16But how? We can't yell. They never hear us.
18:20Hey, wait a minute. We need a signal.
18:24We can't yell loud enough, right?
18:26Hey, I've got the answer.
18:29We'll run the movie.
18:31Run the movie? I like your better gloomy than goofy.
18:35Wait a minute. He's got the right idea. Grab the speaker.
18:39It's gone away. Let's look in the shed.
18:47There's a rat.
18:49I'll take care of it.
18:52What?
18:54I got a rat.
18:57I'll take care of it.
19:00I'll take care of it.
19:03Let's go.
19:05That's gone away.
19:06Let's look in the shed.
19:16They're coming this way.
19:19All right, men.
19:20Show them the flags.
19:36What's going on?
19:37There's somebody in there, and they're
19:38sticking things out the window.
19:42Volume's as loud as it'll go.
19:44Let's just hope we can find an audience to hear it.
19:48That must be those kids, and we've got them just working.
19:50Hi, this is OK Oaken speaking for the physical fitness
19:53program.
19:54All right.
19:55All right.
19:56All right.
19:57All right.
19:58All right.
19:59All right.
20:00All right.
20:01All right.
20:02All right.
20:04All right.
20:12Well, there's nothing in that alley.
20:14It's just about impossible to be a professional football
20:16player and rush for 1,000 yards a season.
20:19That's OK's voice.
20:20It's coming from down there.
20:29Unless you're in pretty good condition.
20:31You remember this play last year?
20:32I guess it wasn't such a good idea.
20:35But Doc, the big thing is that we tried and...
20:38Listen.
20:41Hey, you hear that?
20:43I guess it was a good idea after all.

22:06A redhead gang getting in.
22:10Hands pressed.
22:15Hey!
22:17See you later!
22:19The Black Star Jewel's recovered.
22:21And Kane and his gang went off to prison.
22:23But that wasn't all...
22:24The very next Sunday...
22:26Sunday. While O.K. Hawkins dazzled the crowd with his footwork, five extra special guests
22:32walked in the seat of honor, right on the player's back. With all the hot dogs and all
22:38the autographs, all the fun and excitement we could handle, which O.K. Hawkins said was
22:43the very least he could do for the kind of kids you find in the Red Hand Gang.
22:49Next week, the Red Hand Gang gets themselves in a new kind of trouble.
22:53Be sure you watch it.
22:56What kind of trick is that?
22:59Hey, there's a kid with a camera. Hey, you!
23:18That sure looks like Herman's, doesn't it?
23:21It's a nice hobby. Keeps them out of trouble.
23:37Jim talks in pictures.
23:40With hand signs and deaf language.
23:43You're not going to bully the left step with those kids, are you?
23:45I'm going to get that film, whatever it takes.
23:48Come on.
24:18I'm going to get that film, whatever it takes.
