00:00Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Thursday, July the 11th.

00:06I hope you're all recovered from our football victory last night.

00:10Still can't quite believe it, but just one final step.

00:13Fingers crossed for Sunday, boys.

00:16More importantly, in Doncaster news, we put out yesterday some information from the council

00:23relating to things to do over the summer for families.

00:28The six weeks can be quite long for some families trying to find things to do.

00:34It can prove quite expensive.

00:35But the council have put together a list of activities that are taking place across the city

00:40for all ages, for families to enjoy.

00:42Some do have a charge, others are free.

00:45So take a look at that if you're dreading what you're going to keep the kids occupied with

00:51for those six weeks.

00:53I'm sure you'll find it very, very handy.

00:56Then also, yesterday, there were some stories circulating yesterday morning

01:02about Doncaster Sheffield Airport, about who was going to be operating from that airport.

01:09Our local democracy reporter, Shannon, looked into this as she hadn't been made aware of anything new

01:16to that story.

01:17She has since found out that claims that an operator was going to be announced this week are actually false.

01:24That's come from the council.

01:26They are not in the process yet of being ready to announce who's going to be using the airport.

01:34And of course, when that happens, we will be hopefully the first to bring you that news.

01:41Then finally, we have a story regarding a good one for Doncaster as a whole, a good one for cyclists.

01:52It was announced yesterday that the Tour of Britain, the prestigious cycle race,

01:57is going to be coming to Doncaster and hosting the South Yorkshire stage of that massive event.

02:03It gets huge, huge coverage across the globe actually.

02:06It's quite a spectacle. I have seen it a couple of times.
