00:00 Obviously last year you had to sit on the sidelines, kind of soak everything in.
00:03 You've been able to play in spurts this year, injuries, what have you.
00:07 But how do you evaluate yourself from making your debut really at the beginning
00:12 to now 13 weeks in?
00:13 How do you feel about your growth?
00:15 >> I feel good.
00:16 My growth as a player and also as a teammate and just myself as a person.
00:20 I feel like getting into the groove of things definitely helped me out and
00:24 now I feel like I'm rolling.
00:25 I can think fast, I can move fast, I can play faster.
00:28 >> And you and Kylan, you guys were more known as pass catchers,
00:33 big play guys coming into the year.
00:35 But you've both really proven your chops as blockers.
00:38 How much emphasis have you put on that?
00:40 And Coach Manning, I was just talking to him, he said, he commends you guys
00:45 because you have to want to do it and be able to do it.
00:47 So what's your approach to blocking?
00:49 >> Yeah, no, blocking is really just a willingness to block.
00:52 And then you worry about the foot steps and the hand placement after that.
00:56 But you just gotta wanna block at first.
00:57 But I kinda try to, big emphasis this summer in my training with my run blocking
01:02 and pass blocking just because I wanna be that complete tight end at the end of the
01:06 day, I wanna be up there with George Kittle and all those guys.
01:09 So I definitely wanna work on that.
01:11 >> Nice.
01:11 And last year, obviously, I'm sure that was quite frustrating.
01:14 Now you've been able to play.
01:15 What are you most proud of from yourself for this season?
01:18 >> Not quitting.
01:21 There's a lot of tough times, a lot of dark times last season and
01:25 even just this season, just always believing in myself.
01:29 And I gotta say thank you to my support staff and my teammates for that one.
01:31 So always keeping my head up high and staying positive.
01:34 >> And the foot's in the right direction, you're getting closer, is that right?
01:37 >> Yes, sir. >> Cool, all right.
