The fifth day of the fourth and the final Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground couldn't see a single ball being bowled. But it was still the day when the Indian cricket team scripted history and became the first Asian side to win a Test series in Australia. This Test win came after almost 71 years where captains from the likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni and even Sachin Tendulkar failed to win there. Virat Kohli after the historic win took a lap of honour with his team and thanked the crowd for their immense support to the Indian cricket team throughout the tour. Cheteshwar Pujara was adjudged the Man of the Tournament and has batted for more than 31 hours throughout the tour.
On Sunday at the popular talk show hosted by Bollywood producer Karan Johar asked both KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya whom did they think was the better cricketer Tendulkar or Kohli? Both replied that it was Kohli. Well this series win under him makes it a stronger case as he did something that even Tendulkar couldn't in his career.
