00:00You know, over the past 30 years that I've been in bridal, I've worked with all kinds
00:08of brides.
00:09Brides that want to be princesses, that want boho, that want traditional, and then we've
00:13got those brides that want something really bold and over the top.
00:17It looks like you're going to a funeral.
00:19You can't wear black to your own wedding.
00:21I'm looking for a really colorful rainbow unicorn dress.
00:25I am obsessed with feathers.
00:29Studio 54.
00:30Boho.
00:31You never know.
00:32I'm up for anything.
00:33Let's do it.
00:34But my favorite brides, I would have to say, are brides that are true to themselves.
00:37Oh!
00:38Wow.
00:39Drama.
00:40Drama.
00:41Drama.
00:42Drama.
00:43There's going to be some skulls and bones in the wedding.
00:44Wait, wait, wait.
00:45Back up.
00:46It's going to be underwater?
00:47Yeah!
00:48Woo!
00:49So tell me about your fiance.
00:50Oh, um, it's me.
00:53You're marrying you.
00:54I love myself and I am having a ceremony to celebrate that.
00:57So today I'm going to take you back and show you some of my favorite brides that were really
01:01true to themselves and really represented their personality.
01:05Now that's bold.
01:14This season, bold was in.
01:17Our brides knew what they wanted and they went after it.
01:20I have arrived!
01:24My wedding is going to be glam royal.
01:27God, please help me find the right dress.
01:30A little over budget and a little over sparkled.
01:33Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle.
01:36Everything I get has to be substantial.
01:38Girls, I know they're really sparkly, but I can't wear one of those.
01:42Okay.
01:43I always say that without a veil, you're just a pretty girl in a white dress.
01:47But when Rachel was struggling with the idea of even wearing a veil at all, it really created
01:51a situation I've never been in before.
01:53Go look at that.
01:54Oh, we're looking?
01:55Yeah.
01:57Oh my gosh.
01:58Sitting on my couch watching.
01:59It was the first time I'd ever watched a show as a bride.
02:01And Randy made a comment that just said, you don't wear a veil, you're just a pretty girl
02:05in a white dress.
02:08And that hit me.
02:09Oh my God.
02:10Hello, ladies.
02:11Hello.
02:12You look beautiful.
02:13I do want to share it with him just because it hit me and I'm sure it emotionally hit
02:16somebody else.
02:18Rachel's worried about this day her whole life.
02:20Worried?
02:21Yeah.
02:22What she's going to look like as a bride.
02:24Why?
02:26Every little girl grows up thinking that they're going to be bald on their wedding day.
02:30And yeah.
02:31What's going on?
02:32Are you okay?
02:33Yeah.
02:34I'm good.
02:35I'm very healthy.
02:36Good.
02:37Good.
02:38When I was seven years old, I started to pull, pluck my eyebrows and eyelashes and quickly
02:43started pulling from my scalp as well.
02:46It's a disorder called trichotillomania.
02:48Eventually, I had no hair at all by the time I was eight years old.
02:52You said, you know, you have to wear a veil.
02:55If you don't, you're just a pretty girl in a white dress.
02:59And that-
03:00I say that to everybody because I'm-
03:03And I've heard you say it a million times, but for whatever reason, that night, it just,
03:07it hit me a little bit.
03:10And now you're going to make me cry because I do say that all the time, but I never thought
03:15that it would impact somebody negatively, that you would be less of a bride without
03:20a veil.
03:22I was determined to make it up to Rachel and find a way for her to wear a veil once she
03:26found her dream dress.
03:27Oh, here she comes.
03:28Oh.
03:29Oh.
03:30What's going on, Rachel?
03:31Oh, I love it.
03:32I really do.
03:33It's beautiful.
03:34This is exactly what I had in mind.
03:35Okay.
03:36Let's try something.
03:37Oh, crap.
03:38Oh, crap.
03:39Oh, crap.
03:40Oh, crap.
03:41Oh, crap.
03:42Oh, crap.
03:43Oh, crap.
03:44Oh, crap.
03:45Oh, crap.
03:46Oh, crap.
03:47Oh, crap.
03:48Oh, crap.
03:49Oh, crap.
03:50Oh, crap.
03:52Oh, crap.
03:54Having the veil on, you can't help but feel like a bride.
03:59If you're going to love it or hate it, it's okay either way.
04:01Oh, buddy.
04:04I'm not able to even speak because the emotions are just so overwhelming.
04:09They make dreams come true.
04:11They make dreams come true.
04:14Rachel, are you saying yes to the dress?
04:19I'm saying yes to the dress and the veil.
04:21Woo!
04:22Woo!
04:23Woo!
04:24So cute.
04:25I always try to go the extra mile
04:27to make sure that every bride feels special.
04:30But Kevin wasn't your typical bride.
04:33They are non-binary.
04:35I have to say, I learned a lot during this appointment.
04:38I don't want to look like a man in a dress.
04:40I want to be my most authentic, non-binary self
04:43and be very fluid.
04:44So I am actually non-binary, which means I do not
04:47identify with any gender.
04:49So when I address you, are there certain rules or?
04:53Just respect pronouns.
04:54He, she?
04:55They, them, actually.
04:56They, them?
04:57They, them.
04:57I'm going to get this.
04:58Yes.
04:59So basically, I would love like a pantsuit
05:02with a nice overlay skirt that I can have, you know,
05:05tradition for the ceremony.
05:07But then during the reception, just take it off
05:09and have another look, a reveal, and then
05:12just dance the night away.
05:13It is so important for me to have a representation of exactly
05:17who I am, something, you know, to make a statement.
05:20The bottom is exactly right.
05:22The top is just.
05:23Agreed.
05:24I think that that might be where I'm missing something.
05:26I'm feeling like I am in a dress that society would want
05:30a normal bride to just be in.
05:32And that's just not me.
05:34Are pants a deal breaker?
05:35For me, yes.
05:36For a second look, I think we are.
05:37Then I have nothing here that works for pants.
05:40I had to get really creative and use
05:42some imagination with this.
05:44I hope that Kevin could too.
05:48Oh.
05:49Yeah?
05:50Do you have something?
05:51Here's the reveal.
05:52Oh, boy.
05:55Wow.
05:57How are you feeling?
05:58I feel good.
05:59You're tearing up.
06:00I know.
06:01I feel really pretty.
06:02I'm feeling as if there is something that's saying,
06:05you are the way you're supposed to be right now.
06:08I just want to try something.
06:10Hey.
06:12Pantsuit moment.
06:13I love this.
06:13No, I think that works so well as a pantsuit.
06:17I feel stunning.
06:18I feel complete.
06:20The word I love the most, complete.
06:24And I'm sure I speak for Peter as well,
06:25that we're just happy that we were able to do this.
06:28You don't ever think that you're going
06:29to be able to try on a dress and get married to the person
06:31that you love.
06:32But you are here because there are people out there that care.
06:38And they're going to love you no matter what.
06:41Kevin, are you saying yes to the dress?
06:44I'm saying yes!
06:46Woo!
06:46Woo!
06:47Woo!
06:48Yes!
06:49Yes!
06:50Yes!
06:50Yes!
06:51Ow!
06:55Singer-songwriter Mary Lambert wasn't
06:57going to settle for anything less than a dress that
06:59made her feel as positive as the message she's been sending out
07:02to the world through her music.
07:04Gorgeous.
07:04Gorgeous.
07:05I don't like this.
07:06I'm a singer-songwriter, co-wrote the song
07:09Same Love with Macklemore.
07:11What's your vision?
07:12Is it going to be a ball gown, A-line, fitted?
07:15I think A-line or a ball gown.
07:17I don't want to feel too constricted.
07:18OK.
07:19We want something airy, something comfortable.
07:21But I also, I love my boobs.
07:23OK.
07:24They're good boobs.
07:24We've got some cleavage to show.
07:26But not too much cleavage.
07:27OK.
07:28A little peekaboo.
07:29Like church cleavage.
07:30OK.
07:30So conservatively sexy.
07:32Church cleavage.
07:32It's church.
07:33It's church cleavage.
07:36You want God, you know what?
07:38You want God to think you're sexy.
07:39I want to, I've never been dress shopping before.
07:42What?
07:43Yeah, so I don't know what it's like.
07:44Wedding dress shopping.
07:45OK, that was the first time.
07:46Let's try a little bit of everything
07:47and see what we think.
07:49I've been fat my whole life.
07:51And I started dieting when I was like eight.
07:55I was throwing away my sandwich when I was in like fourth grade
07:58because I didn't want people to, sorry,
08:01because I didn't want, I didn't want people to see me eat.
08:08Oh, this is so pretty.
08:10It's so gorgeous.
08:12What do you think about this one?
08:13Should we show them this?
08:14I love this dress.
08:15After you.
08:16Oh my god, oh my god.
08:17I'm having this moment where I'm feeling empowered
08:20about my body in this dress.
08:24You know what?
08:25OK, this is, talk about body stuff.
08:27So this, this is cute.
08:29I am now just like obsessed with,
08:31with my cute little back rolls here.
08:33Well, you should.
08:34Yay!
08:35Yes, as you should.
08:36I just think about like the times
08:39that I was just like, I, hating my body so much
08:42and just like not believing that it would be OK to be
08:46like fat in a wedding dress.
08:48I know that this isn't the dress,
08:49but I feel like there's movement.
08:51I feel like there's hope.
08:52Loving herself in a wedding dress
08:54after years of body image issues was surprising
08:57but affirming for Mary.
09:01And after a few more tries.
09:02I love it!
09:07So pretty.
09:09Is this like in your mind?
09:11This is it, this is so, this is so, so beautiful.
09:14It feels like something that I dreamed.
09:16Mary, are you saying yes to the dress?
09:21Yes!
09:22Woo!
09:24You don't have to wait.
09:26You don't have to wait until you reach some size
09:28or weight or anything.
09:30You can just live now and get the dress you want
09:33because I did, and it's awesome.
09:37Often, the road to finding your dream wedding dress
09:40is full of expectations and a lot of opinions.
09:44But I have to say, I really admire those brides
09:46who forge their own path.
09:47Nick West is a bassist who used to play with Prince.
09:50There's no way her bold style was
09:52going to fit into a traditional wedding dress either.
09:55So I see you've got a beautiful sense of style.
09:58What do you do?
09:59I am a bass player, a singer.
10:00Rock star, pretty much?
10:01Rock star.
10:02I'm literally freaking out.
10:05Do you have any idea of what you're looking
10:06for in a wedding dress?
10:07Something that detaches and there's
10:09like this catsuit one piece.
10:12Wow, all right.
10:14I want to look like a classy superhero.
10:18I want something that I can go like, ha, in.
10:21Doesn't that look funny if I'm going, ha, in this dress?
10:23Yeah.
10:24It was clear that Nick was going to need to go custom.
10:27Luckily, a new design team with the Modern Edge
10:29was having a trunk show that day.
10:31I don't know how you feel about a peplum
10:32or maybe this embroidery.
10:34Yeah, we could actually discuss doing this embroidery
10:36all over the entire piece.
10:37I really, I actually really like this.
10:39Cool.
10:40The ladies from Lacombe turned out
10:43to be a perfect match for Nick.
10:45Oh my god.
10:51Wow.
10:53Hi.
10:54That's amazing.
10:55Hi.
10:56They literally took what was in my head and put it on me.
11:01And it's perfect.
11:08This is exactly what I envisioned.
11:12Yes, envisioned and dreamed about.
11:14I mean, everything.
11:16Except it's more sparkly, which is even better.
11:18I don't even have words.
11:19I don't have words.
11:23What are we doing here?
11:24Wine.
11:27OK.
11:28If you're going to do feathers, let it be good god, period.
11:32This is not good god, period.
11:34No.
11:42We've had our share of bold brides.
11:44And by bold, I mean brides who are courageous, daring,
11:47proud, and unafraid to be who they are.
11:51Like Randall, who is determined to stick
11:53to her unique style at her wedding day.
11:56Hello.
11:56Hi.
11:57Looking for Randall.
11:58I'm Randall.
11:59Are you Randall?
12:00I'm Randy.
12:01I have a jumpsuit for every day of the week, every occasion.
12:03Whether it's overalls, it's pajamas, or black tie events,
12:07that's what my closet is.
12:08So tell us what you're looking for.
12:10I love how Lace looks on me, a low front,
12:13and maybe a jumpsuit today.
12:18No.
12:19No.
12:22Oh my god.
12:23Wait.
12:24Oh.
12:25Just a little subtle jumpsuit.
12:29All right, so how do you like the jumpsuit?
12:34I definitely like the spaghetti strap.
12:36And the cut is getting there.
12:41Mom, you look frightened.
12:44I'm not saying yes to that.
12:48My family and friends are not understanding the vision.
12:50But I think that once we see something
12:54on my body that resembles what I'll be wearing
12:58the night of the wedding, I think
13:00they might get a little bit more of a vision.
13:02The dress looks unbelievable on her.
13:04Like, I was crying.
13:05I was like, I had tears when she started
13:06walking out with the silhouette.
13:08It's an elegant gown.
13:09It's gorgeous.
13:10It's gorgeous.
13:11It's so flattering.
13:12That's very regal, Randall.
13:14So we're going to get Haley to do some jumpsuit
13:18like this kind of thing.
13:20Yes.
13:21I loved it as a gown, so it was hard for me
13:23to envision the dress she was wearing
13:26as anything but an elegant gown.
13:28In the end, Randall compromised with her mom
13:31and wore a gown to her ceremony.
13:36And saved her custom jumpsuit to wow everyone at her reception.
13:40Oh my god.
13:41Woo!
13:44I'm about to do my first look with Chad,
13:46and I'm so excited.
13:51I was a little hesitant about the jumpsuit,
13:53and now that I see her in it, she looks incredible.
13:57It's so Randall, and it's perfect.
14:01Like Randall, Jocelyn had a very specific vision
14:04in mind for her dress that her family
14:06just didn't quite understand.
14:08I want feathers.
14:09Do you have an appointment here today?
14:10I do, girl.
14:11OK, cool.
14:12Go help me out.
14:12I'm, like, brand new.
14:14What is it with all the feathers?
14:17She said ostrich.
14:19You live near Berks?
14:21I am obsessed with ostrich feathers.
14:23Feathers.
14:24Feathers.
14:25I think it's very avant-garde.
14:27It's very different.
14:28Peacocks are sexy.
14:30I want to look like good god, period.
14:37Period.
14:42I'm thinking, oh, one dress and we're
14:44done because it has feathers.
14:46Ostrich feathers, ha ha.
14:48Let's see.
14:55What are we doing here?
14:56Number one.
14:58OK.
14:59If you want the feathers, let it be good god, period.
15:03This is not good god, period.
15:05No.
15:06No, it's good god.
15:08Who go away?
15:09I thought it was cute.
15:11I don't even want to try anything else on.
15:12You should.
15:13But this wasn't it.
15:14Girl, bye.
15:16Well, she wants feathers.
15:17I mean, you know, we have the Zuri dress.
15:19That's, uh.
15:19Oh, Zuri.
15:20That's sort of like a fan.
15:21It looks like fans.
15:22Yeah.
15:23Well, let's try it.
15:24Yes.
15:25OK, Miss Jocelyn.
15:27OK.
15:27Here we go.
15:29I found this.
15:30It's a flare gown.
15:31And she's blingy.
15:32And she's blingy.
15:34I'm scared to say that I like it.
15:36I am doing a total poker face.
15:43Girl.
15:48OK.
15:53Yeah, that is the look.
15:54I like it.
15:55I love it.
15:56Ha!
15:57Got you.
15:57Y'all like the dress.
15:58This is the dress.
16:00This is your dress.
16:03Oh, it's beautiful.
16:04Oh, wow.
16:06When Candace put that veil, girl, it was a done deal.
16:09I'm really about to be a fine-ass bride.
16:13I am really getting married.
16:17Oh, my god.
16:17Yes.
16:18Yes.
16:19This is it.
16:21Girl, ask me whatever questions you want to ask.
16:25Jocelyn, are you saying yes to the dress?
16:28Yes!
16:32I'm truly inspired by brides who
16:34face their challenges head on.
16:36Natalie's a bride who she always dreamed
16:38of a traditional wedding dress.
16:40But just getting into one was going to be
16:42hard for this very brave bride.
16:45When is the big day?
16:46In July next year.
16:47OK.
16:48You know, and I know I need some special customizations,
16:51being in a chair.
16:52And I want to look beautiful.
16:53I want the dress to fit me in a chair just as
16:56gorgeous as if I was standing.
16:58Absolutely.
16:59You know?
16:59And having an injury, like, that was something I was,
17:03like, just upset that I would never
17:06be able to walk down the aisle.
17:07I was working as a physical therapist assistant,
17:09and a 600-pound weight machine tipped over on me.
17:14And I fell back, and it shattered
17:15two vertebrae in my neck.
17:17Laying on the ground, I couldn't feel my body at all.
17:20So how long ago was this, the injury?
17:2317 years.
17:2417 years.
17:25Yeah.
17:26Wow.
17:27I felt like I really lost my purpose in life,
17:30because I felt that I was a healer with my hands.
17:34Now, I soon realized, after a lot of therapy,
17:38I don't need my hands to heal.
17:40Then I moved back to Buffalo, started my own recovery center
17:44that just opened this past year.
17:45That's amazing.
17:47For me, this is like kind of any other appointment.
17:49It's really about how it looks on the front,
17:52and always, with every bride, how it makes her feel.
17:56I just feel the material's a little too, I think, stiff.
18:02It is a beautiful dress.
18:04And maybe when you stand, it would lay right.
18:08But sitting, it tends to bunch up.
18:10So I don't think I'm going to show it.
18:13Out of the dresses that Randy brought in,
18:15there's another dress that I have my eye on.
18:17It's a little lighter and a little bit more form-fitting.
18:21That's gorgeous.
18:22That's very nice.
18:24Stunning.
18:25I think it's a contender, for sure.
18:33I see Beth smiling.
18:36Told you you need that bling.
18:38Mom, what are you feeling?
18:39It's beautiful.
18:40It's been a long journey for her.
18:42And to see her this happy, I'm beyond grateful.
18:49After my injury, I really didn't think
18:51I was going to find love.
18:53And sitting in this dress is like,
18:57I can't believe I'm getting married.
19:00Are you saying yes to the dress?
19:02Yes!
19:03Woo!
19:04Come here.
19:05I'm so happy for you.
19:06I'm so happy.
19:12So now, what are your relationships?
19:15This is my husband, and this is my fiancee.
19:17Yes.
19:18Wow.
19:28Navigating the world of bridal can be daunting for any bride,
19:31but especially for those that are non-traditional.
19:33Gabrielle broke barriers as our first transgender
19:36bride back in season 15.
19:38Oh, wow.
19:39Aren't you a talk of the water?
19:41I'm Shay.
19:42Nice to meet you.
19:43Congratulations.
19:44I was born male, and I'm a transgender woman now.
19:49I had this beautiful little baby boy.
19:51I mean, he was just precious.
19:53But you could see that Gigi was in there.
19:57She would steal her sister's Barbies and her sister's
20:00ballet tutus and outfits.
20:04And I just kept seeing that a girl was
20:07going to blossom out of that.
20:09And you're marrying a transgender man.
20:11Yes!
20:12OK, well, congratulations.
20:1326,000.
20:14Love is love.
20:15Congratulations.
20:15Thank you so much.
20:17I am super excited to work with Gabby today, you know?
20:19And it's so incredible that here at Kleinfeld,
20:22they feel comfortable enough to walk in these doors.
20:25Here she is.
20:29Yes.
20:30Look at you.
20:32Look at our girl.
20:34I love this dress, surprisingly.
20:37Did you ever think that you would be sitting here
20:40looking for a wedding gown with Gigi?
20:47With how people have treated her,
20:50I've seen her cry so much.
20:54And it's been a long journey to get to this point.
20:57My makeup.
21:00I think we were all a little emotional after seeing
21:02Gabrielle in her first dress.
21:04But the best was still to come.
21:06Oh my god.
21:08What?
21:08What is that in your hand?
21:09And why is it gorgeous?
21:13Yes.
21:14Yes.
21:15Yes.
21:16Yes.
21:17OK.
21:17Yes.
21:18Yes.
21:19It will not fit.
21:21We are blown away.
21:22We are blown away.
21:23Immediately.
21:23Immediately.
21:24Definitely.
21:25If the gay is approved, then, you know, it's a stamp.
21:28Yes.
21:29Miss Gibson, you look so ravishing.
21:31Yes.
21:35Oh my god.
21:37I'm having the little girl dream.
21:39Like, the little girl dream is starting to come true.
21:45And it's a big honor for me because I just never thought
21:49that it would ever be possible.
21:55For those brides entering into a nontraditional marriage,
21:57explaining their relationship can be a little tricky.
22:01Cassandra, Carly, and Paolo came in and schooled us all.
22:05So now, what are your relationships?
22:08This is my husband, and this is my fiance.
22:11Wow.
22:13We are in a throuple.
22:14We are all in love.
22:15Yeah, we're in a polyamorous relationship.
22:18So one man who has multiple wives is usually polygamy.
22:21Polyamory is when multiple people
22:23have more than one love.
22:24Yeah.
22:25I mean, if we sleep in the same bed.
22:27That means double the cuddles.
22:28That's what it is.
22:30Oh, wow.
22:30I know.
22:31I didn't want to scare you guys, but that's what it is.
22:33Scared?
22:34No.
22:34No.
22:35No one's scared.
22:36We're ready.
22:37And to think that was only the beginning of this shocking,
22:40but very fun day.
22:46Bella, bella.
22:46How beautiful is this dress?
22:50Oh my god, you guys are all getting it.
22:52I know.
22:52Stop.
22:54Instantly, you put it on, you were like, y'all, this is it.
22:56Instantly.
22:57Do you realize how impressive that is?
22:59It's like your first dress that you tried on.
23:01That's crazy.
23:02Yeah.
23:02To a consultant, one and done is always a pleasant surprise.
23:06But it actually took Cassandra's mom
23:08to pull a gown that would make her dream dress a reality.
23:15Oh, this one.
23:18Say thank you, mama.
23:20Thank you, mommy.
23:20So, Cassandra and Carly, are you saying yes to the dress?
23:31Yes.
23:32Yes.
23:35Pal is going to be in awe until he's gone away.
23:39Everyone's in?
23:40Yes.
23:41Yay.
23:46Our next bride, Ashley, suffers from a condition
23:48that locks her arms straight, and she's
23:51built up a pretty tough exterior over the years.
23:53Finding love with her partner, Amber,
23:56I think really gave her the confidence
23:57to step out of her comfort zone.
23:59That one's really pretty.
24:01I don't necessarily like the nude.
24:04When I first met Ashley about three years ago,
24:06it was very hard to get her to allow herself to be loved.
24:11You've cracked my code.
24:15From birth, my elbows were locked straight.
24:18There's not really a fix for my disability, necessarily.
24:22And it's hard to get past people's judgments.
24:29Disabled people live a normal life like everyone else.
24:33All my makeup looks, pouring a cup of coffee, all of that
24:36is done with my feet.
24:40Oh.
24:40Babe.
24:41Oh, my.
24:42You're right here.
24:43You can face them.
24:44Babe, you look so gorgeous.
24:47It's so beautiful.
24:48It's gorgeous.
24:49It's flattering.
24:50It's like made for you.
24:52And let me tell you why.
24:53Yes.
24:54First of all, it's got this slit here, which is great
24:57if she's using her legs.
24:58Yes, right.
24:59And then let's show them the back.
25:00Let me turn you back for a second.
25:02Because I want to show you this.
25:03Oh, I like that.
25:04Because see how it comes together?
25:05Yes.
25:06That's going to keep the straps on the shoulder.
25:08Yep, yep.
25:08Because she was worried about her narrow shoulders.
25:10Oh, Shannon.
25:13Talk to me.
25:13Well, it's every woman deserves this moment.
25:19I'm so happy.
25:21This dress makes me feel so confident, and amazing,
25:26and beautiful, and sassy.
25:34You're so pretty.
25:38Shannon, get up here.
25:39Why don't you help us?
25:40Why don't you help us with this?
25:41I would love to.
25:42OK.
25:42Come on, Amber, come here.
25:43Yes, come on.
25:44Let's all ask this together.
25:46Ashley, are you saying yes to the dress?
25:49Yes.
25:50Yay!
25:52Yes.
26:00Look what I got.
26:01This is the dress she's been looking for,
26:03and it is $34,000.
26:13You know, not every bride wants to wear white.
26:16Some want pink.
26:17Some want blue.
26:19Jarday, however, she wanted the rainbow.
26:23Hi, Randy.
26:24Now tell me what this hair color is.
26:26It's voodoo blue.
26:28Voodoo blue.
26:29OK.
26:30I am completely sure that I am not going
26:33to be wearing a white dress.
26:35I'm looking for a really colorful
26:37rainbow unicorn dress.
26:38Wait, wait, wait.
26:39A rainbow unicorn dress?
26:41Yes.
26:42My dream dress would be as if I had
26:44vomited a rainbow onto myself.
26:48So I ran into mom.
26:51She has some big glasses.
26:53When I see the dresses, I just cringe.
26:55I know my mom will like it, but it's not something that's me.
27:02Look at that.
27:04What do you think?
27:05I don't like it.
27:07Oh.
27:08I looked at myself, and I just saw
27:11that girl that followed all the rules,
27:13despite what she wanted.
27:15Mom, I'm going to have to step in here.
27:16I'm not going to have a crying bride on my floor.
27:18I understand.
27:19My mom just doesn't get it.
27:21I feel like her own feelings on the matter
27:24are just overpowering it, and that's all
27:26she's paying attention to.
27:27I have another one here that I want you to look at.
27:30We've got every color that you could want.
27:33Oh, my god.
27:35Look at that.
27:36Party.
27:37That's what I've been waiting for.
27:38Look at it.
27:40And these are the happy tears.
27:41Look at that.
27:42OK.
27:43I love this dress.
27:47Oh, my gosh.
27:48That's it.
27:49Oh, my gosh.
27:51Yes.
27:52Yes.
27:53I actually love it.
27:54You do?
27:55Did you hear that?
27:56I did not think that was going to happen.
27:58It meets her and what I like.
28:01Sade, are you saying yes to the dress?
28:05Yes.
28:06Yes!
28:06Yes!
28:08I'm overwhelmed with happiness because I'm
28:12wearing this perfect, colorful, fantasy unicorn dress.
28:17Like Sade, a lot of brides come in with a very
28:20specific look in mind.
28:22All of these are very white.
28:23Marissa came in looking for a black dress,
28:25but that was just the beginning.
28:28Tell me about the wedding.
28:29OK, so we're hoping it's going to be like a kind
28:31of creepy, mystical garden.
28:33Yeah, there's going to be some skulls involved in the wedding.
28:36Back up.
28:37Have you ever heard a bride say creepy?
28:39No.
28:39I'm not happy about the skulls, but it is definitely her.
28:43Ever since I was a kid, I've kind of always
28:45just liked weird stuff.
28:47Her save-the-date photos were taken in a cemetery,
28:49which at first I was a little concerned.
28:53I think it's time to go to the dark side.
29:00Wow.
29:03Wow.
29:04OK.
29:05Wow.
29:06You're looking pretty sexy there, girl.
29:09Hang on, mom.
29:09Hang on.
29:10She's going to have a heart attack.
29:12I think if you want to wear black, you should wear black.
29:15I mean, it's different.
29:16No.
29:17I got past the skulls on the table.
29:20You can't get past the black dress.
29:21This is where you draw the line.
29:22Yeah, it's not.
29:24Everyone agreed that the black dress
29:26was one step over the line.
29:27So we found a great compromise, a dress that
29:30made her look almost fairy-like.
29:32I love it.
29:33You're breathtaking.
29:34And everyone loves it, which has not been easy.
29:38It is just me.
29:39It's perfect.
29:40It's 100% perfect.
29:42I feel like a bride, something I never
29:47actually thought I'd say.
29:48But here we are.
29:50Are you saying yes to the dress?
29:53I am saying yes to the dress.
29:56Unlike Grisa, Kelly didn't have a specific theme
29:59in mind for her dress.
30:00But she knew exactly the one she wanted.
30:03It was really bold and over-the-top.
30:06And it was one of the most expensive dresses
30:08we've ever featured on the show.
30:10Do you have pictures of anything
30:11that you would like to see?
30:12No, but I do have a memory.
30:13You have a vision.
30:14There was this one dress in the London Runway
30:16show that literally made me fall out of my chair.
30:19It was just a showstopper.
30:20Just so avant-garde.
30:22I just caught a glimpse of it, but it was silver.
30:24So I mean, I can't imagine how many silver dresses you have.
30:26Not many.
30:27If I don't find this dress, it's not going to be good.
30:31So this is the last.
30:33Wait a minute.
30:37I hope when they say unlimited, that they really
30:39mean unlimited.
30:40Because this runway dress is really pricey.
30:44Wow.
30:45Oh my god.
30:46This is the one.
30:48Yeah, we got it.
30:48You have it?
30:50I can't believe you had it.
30:51This dress is next level.
30:53Wait, how much is this dress?
30:54How much?
30:55How much is this dress?
30:56$34,000.
30:58It's under the budget.
31:00Under the budget.
31:06Mom, what do you think about this silver?
31:08You OK with it?
31:09I love it.
31:10You love it?
31:11Love it.
31:12It was important to me that she doesn't have
31:14just a cookie cutter dress.
31:17And that's why I was willing to pay it.
31:19Are you saying yes to the dress?
31:21I am saying yes to the dress.
31:23When people see me walking down the aisle,
31:26I'm pretty sure that there's going
31:27to be some mouths dropping.
31:30I forgot something in the dressing room.
31:31In the dressing room?
31:32Yes, yes, yes.
31:33Do you want me to get it?
31:34No, no, no.
31:35What's going on?
31:35One second, one second, one second.
31:37Isn't that something you're not telling us?
31:49Here's the jumpsuit you wanted.
31:52You know, we have all kinds of dresses
31:54that appeal to brides who are bold enough to want
31:57something a little different.
32:00Yes?
32:01That is very pretty.
32:02That's very pretty.
32:03This season featured several brides
32:05who turned the idea of a conventional wedding
32:07upside down.
32:08So tell me about your fiance.
32:10Oh, um, it's me.
32:12It's you.
32:13Yeah, hi.
32:14I am getting married to myself.
32:16I was married before.
32:17OK.
32:18I was married for 13 years.
32:19OK.
32:20I met my ex-husband when I was 19.
32:23And then I was married at 24.
32:26And I was a mom and had a child every two years.
32:30When I divorced, I was like, who are you?
32:34I love myself.
32:35And after my divorce, I had to fall deeply in love with me.
32:38Marrying yourself might seem a little out there,
32:41but how brave of Nicoletta to take her life back.
32:44So the dress that she was going to wear
32:46needed to be something pretty special.
32:53Oops.
32:54This one's a little out of left field here.
32:57That's interesting.
32:59What do we think you two?
33:02Most definitely.
33:04Mom.
33:05Yeah.
33:08I can definitely envision myself marrying myself,
33:11me getting married to me, solo dolo, single pringle,
33:14now wedded in this dress.
33:16I vow to always know my worth.
33:31I vow to never again dim my light.
33:37And I vow to never settle.
33:39Now that you have said your vows,
33:41I need you to ascend into the sky
33:44and give you back to yourself.
33:46There you go.
33:48Where does that look?
33:51I have never seen Manhattan like this.
33:54Literally, this is the best day.
33:56I am 41.
33:58I am married.
33:59I just went in the helicopter.
34:00That's what's going on.
34:03Natalie actually wanted a pretty simple dress.
34:05It was her wedding that was probably one of the craziest
34:07we've ever seen.
34:08So when's the wedding?
34:09It's in two weeks.
34:11Two weeks?
34:11Just two weeks.
34:12Two weeks?
34:13Yes.
34:14It's in two weeks.
34:15Two weeks?
34:16Yes, just two weeks.
34:18We are getting married down in the water in Cancun.
34:22What do you mean in the water?
34:23Our ceremony is going to be down there scuba diving.
34:27It's going to be underwater?
34:28Yes, we're going to say I do down there.
34:31Like in the middle of the ocean?
34:32Yes, in the middle of the ocean.
34:33Not in the middle, no.
34:34What kind of dress would you think you'd wear underwater?
34:37Not a strapless dress because I have to be sure
34:41that I'm not going to lose my dress at any moment,
34:43any time.
34:44Right, OK.
34:45Here goes her dress.
34:46Here comes the bride.
34:47Not a puffy dress.
34:48And something very light.
34:49Yeah, we don't want her to sink into the bottom.
34:50I know, exactly.
34:52My whole concern is the safety issue,
34:54like with the gear and the dress and the fabric,
34:57like, and you're underwater.
34:58Like, that kind of scares me.
35:00I know.
35:01Well, but I'm just scared about finding a dress.
35:03Forget about the safety issues.
35:04Yeah, forget about that.
35:05I'm scared about finding a dress.
35:09How do you feel?
35:11I love it.
35:11Oh, yes.
35:13She loves it.
35:14Yes.
35:15I love it because it's, like, natural, organic.
35:18Very flowy.
35:19Yes.
35:20Has movement to it.
35:21I think this would be beautiful underwater.
35:23I don't know.
35:23Maybe close to her because, because Mom.
35:27How is she going to swim if her legs are tight?
35:30Let me change the switch and think about that because I was
35:35dreaming something different, but.
35:37Mommy, are you on board?
35:39Yes, of course.
35:41OK, because listen, if I can get on board with this,
35:42you can.
35:43Yes, she is.
35:45Yes, I love her.
35:46Maggie.
35:47Yes?
35:48Are you saying yes to the dress?
35:51Yay!
35:52Yay!
35:53OK.
35:59Well, today I'm getting married.
36:02My friends and family are going down with me
36:05after we are all there in the water.
36:07Yay!
36:08Yay!
36:09Yay!
36:10Woo!
36:10Bravo!
36:11Yeah!
36:13Woo!
36:14Yay!
36:18That was so cute.
36:19It was such an amazing day.
36:21We are so tired now, all the stress.
36:23So now we're like, OK, let's relax now.
36:26I am very glad and happy that I took the dress underwater.
36:31We did it in the place that we feel more of us.
36:35The sea is such a part of us that making
36:38that kind of promise there, it means
36:41our whole life.
36:47Getting married underwater is a pretty bold thing to do.
36:50But I got to say, coming up with a plan
36:52to get married right here at Kleinfeld might top everything.
36:56Hi, Lori.
36:57Hi.
36:58Nice to meet you.
36:58Nice to meet you.
36:59Hair kiss.
37:03So my wedding's in Cancun.
37:05But we've actually had to delay the wedding a little bit,
37:07because I'm carrying a souvenir.
37:08We call him Jimmy Mack.
37:09Jimmy Mack.
37:10I love it.
37:11So how did everyone feel with the changing of the weddings?
37:16My mom is a little old school.
37:18So she was like, you know, we don't
37:19want to board on a wedlock.
37:20Let's go down to City Hall real quick.
37:22That would be her preference.
37:23That would be my preference.
37:24So this is what I'm concocting.
37:27I'm going to ask Randy if he would marry us today.
37:30Today.
37:32I think my mom's just going to be elated.
37:33She's going to be big smile.
37:35Oh my god, so happy finally.
37:37Hi.
37:38Hello.
37:39So Lori reached out to us.
37:41She wants us to help her pull off this surprise
37:44wedding here at Kleinfeld.
37:46We've actually snuck her fiancee in the back.
37:48The crew are in on it.
37:50Dorothy's in on it.
37:51Randy has absolutely no clue what's going on.
38:00Hello, hello.
38:02Surprise, surprise.
38:08How did you do that?
38:10We were not playing.
38:12We said we're going to give you what you want.
38:14Hey.
38:17That's all you guys.
38:19It zips.
38:19It fits.
38:20It's like.
38:21Well, I was going to say, because it's like now body
38:22and maybe later body.
38:23Right.
38:24So should we ask the question?
38:28Yes.
38:30Not yet.
38:31Not yet.
38:35What?
38:36No, no, I just forgot something in the dressing room.
38:37In the dressing room?
38:38Yes, yes, yes.
38:39Do you want me to get it?
38:40No, no, no.
38:41What's going on?
38:42One second, one second, one second.
38:43Isn't that something you're not telling us?
38:47Oh!
38:48Who's this?
38:49This is my fiancee, Chase.
38:51Chase?
38:52This is Chase.
38:53This is Randy.
38:55Just seeing you like this, I don't know.
38:57I don't want to wait.
39:02You don't want to wait?
39:03I don't want to wait.
39:04I want to do this now.
39:05Randy, I hear you're inefficient.
39:06Yes.
39:07Yes.
39:08Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
39:11Oh my god.
39:13Oh my god.
39:17So Randy, will you say yes to marrying us today?
39:21I'm saying yes to marrying you!
39:25I was in shock.
39:27But I knew I wanted to throw them
39:28the wedding of their dreams.
39:30So I got Jock, the creative director at Kleinfeld,
39:33to turn the salon into a wedding wonderland.
39:36The alterations team made her dress fit like a glove
39:40in probably the fastest turnaround ever.
39:42And then, 45 minutes later.
39:44Finally, we kiss in the sunshine,
39:48the day we fell in love, in love, in love.
39:50Hello, everyone.
39:51Hi.
39:52How are we doing?
39:54Are we ready for a wedding?
39:55Yes!
39:56Finally, we kiss for the first time.
40:00How could I have missed all of the signs?
40:05Oh my goodness.
40:08Oh my god.
40:11We're gathered here today to witness and celebrate
40:15the marriage of Lori and Che.
40:18Do you guys have anything that you'd
40:19like to say to each other?
40:20Che, would you like to go first?
40:24I love you, yeah.
40:26I'm blessed to be the one that you've chosen.
40:30You are the man that I always wanted and needed
40:35and didn't know that I could ever have.
40:37Che, do you take Lori and Jimmy Mac to be
40:44your lawfully wedded wife?
40:46I do.
40:47By the authority vested in me, I now pronounce
40:50you husband and wife.
40:52You may kiss.
40:58We love what we do.
40:59We really do.
41:00We get to bring dreams to reality.
41:04What's better than that?
41:06What a beautiful day.
41:07What a beautiful day!
41:08What a beautiful couple.
41:10And what amazing, I just have to say,
41:13it's such an honor for me to be able to do this.
41:17Dresses may come and go, and styles will change.
41:21But there will always be brides who dare to be bold.
41:24Yes!
41:26Yes!
41:27And that's what keeps us on our toes.
