We ask locals if pollution is a concern in their area and which parts of their city or town they believe suffer from the worst air quality.

00:00Well, I am concerned about our quality. I think the LTN scheme has been a disaster.

00:10It's not been thought through properly. I think the infrastructure of improving trains

00:17and buses and all of that should have been put in first before they started cutting streets

00:24off. And what they've done is make some streets absolutely traffic-free and force the traffic

00:30onto others. Train lines, tram lines, airports, cars, lots of, yeah, if you're in the city you're

00:38more prone to pollution and it's a big thing, yeah. I wouldn't know the areas worse for air

00:43quality. I imagine the city centre probably due to traffic or more industrial areas but

00:51yeah, I think we should all be worried about pollution especially in the canals. You see

00:53trash, you see people's bags floating down it and we all have a responsibility to keep the city clean.
