00:00That's what some of you think, but now to tell us more about this year's contest.
00:07I'm joined by our reporter Nick D. Nick, we're getting closer to the final.
00:11What's the general mood like this year around Eurovision?
00:14Well, Lauren, as you could expect, there's a real buzz this year.
00:17Eurovision 2025 feels fresher and more unpredictable than ever.
00:22Fans are loving the mix of big voices, quirky entries and bold staging.
00:27Sweden's Cars has gone viral with their steam room inspired song Barra Barra Bastu.
00:33It's weird, fun and totally Eurovision.
00:36But Austria's JJ is right behind with a stripped back ballad that's catching people off guard in the best way.
00:43Social media is alive with memes, dance challenges and rumours about surprise guests.
00:49This year really feels like one of those anything can happen finals and fans are certainly here for it.
00:55And what can you tell us about the UK act? What kind of song are they bringing and how's it been received so far?
01:00Well, the UK's entry is certainly turning heads. Remember Monday are a proper left field choice,
01:06a country pop trio with big harmonies and a track that sounds like something straight out of Nashville.
01:13What the hell just happened is all about chaotic nights and friendship meltdowns.
01:18And it's refreshingly on Eurovision in the best possible way.
01:22How's the UK looking in the odds? Are we anywhere near the top of the table?
01:26They're not topping the odds just yet, but there's definitely a buzz.
01:30They've got a slick live set, strong vocals and they're clearly having a lot of fun with it.
01:36It might not win, but it's got sleeper hit energy.
01:39And finally, are there any countries standing out already as ones to watch this year?
01:46Lauren, this year's final is packed with pure Eurovision chaos and we love it.
01:51Spain's entry, Esther Diva is full diva mode brilliance with key changes, sequins and fireworks.
01:58Ireland is sending a hyper pop space anthem called Laker Party.
02:02That's basically a rave for dogs and watch out for Finland's Erika Vikman.
02:08She's back and even more outrageous than last time.
02:12But the real wildcard, while there's a lot of noise about a Celine Dion cameo,
02:17which would be huge between the fan favourites and the wildcard entries,
02:21it's going to be one of those finals where every three minutes feels like a new genre.
