00:30From the Pacific to the Adriatic,
00:31from coastal eco-resorts to AI-enhanced theme parks,
00:35travel leaders are here to reset the narrative
00:37and reimagine what the next decade looks like.
00:40Asir is one of the most iconic destinations
00:44within Saudi Arabia.
00:46It has coasts, it has plains,
00:51it has mountains, it has plateaus, it has deserts.
00:54A couple of years ago,
00:56the number of tourists in Asir were about just over 6 million.
00:59Last year, in 2024,
01:01it was just over 8 million.
01:04And I expect that number to go up.
01:06Asir, long a domestic retreat,
01:08is being elevated onto the world stage
01:10with over 11 billion euros of investment.
01:14Yet environmental protection
01:15is a core foundation for its development.
01:18We absolutely have to preserve these
01:21if we want to remain successful
01:23as a destination moving forward.
01:24So in the strategy that we put together,
01:26we have a whole pillar called planet
01:29dedicated to the preservation of the environment.
01:34It's a sentiment echoed in Abu Dhabi
01:36by leisure and destination creator Mirau.
01:382024 was an extraordinary year
01:41where we have broken all our records.
01:44We had more than 38 million visits to Yas Island,
01:47which that reflects 12% growth compared to 2023.
01:52One of our main goals on Yas Island and Saudi Yacht
01:54is to create unique and immersive experience
01:56for our customers.
01:57We use big data and machine learning
01:59to better understand customer behavior,
02:01better understand our existing data,
02:03capturing data,
02:04and based on that,
02:05we customize and tailor
02:07different and new experiences.
02:09Mirau's data-led approach
02:10is shaping the future of experience in Abu Dhabi,
02:13where AI and solar power
02:14are not only enhancing entertainment,
02:16but also driving climate-smart infrastructure.
02:20Dubai's refill and reuse water stations,
02:23along with citywide bottling initiatives,
02:25are being adopted across hotels
02:27as part of an effort to position itself
02:29as the region's most sustainable urban destination.
02:322024 compared to 2023,
02:36we've seen a 9% growth.
02:37We had about 18.7,
02:3918.72 million tourists that came into Dubai,
02:43and the first quarter of 2025
02:44already has been a strong year for us as well,
02:47with over 5.3 million tourists coming in,
02:49making about a 3% jump
02:51compared to the same period of time last year.
02:53We know that the avenues
02:54are not just about bringing in and building in
02:56and trying to attract more and more people
02:57to come and enjoy Dubai,
02:58but we need to make sure
02:59that it's also addressing
03:00a very big point for us
03:02and a very big topic for us as a city,
03:04which is sustainability.
03:05From Dubrovnik to Dalmatia,
03:07Croatia is among a wave of destinations
03:09focusing on regenerative tourism,
03:12a quality-over-quantity shift,
03:14gaining traction worldwide.
03:15Croatia has done a lot
03:17in terms of sustainability.
03:18We changed even the regulations,
03:21and we started to implement
03:23new destination strategy plans,
03:26which means that we are focused on three pillars
03:29of sustainability, ecological, economical,
03:32and, of course, social one.
03:34Artificial intelligence is no longer a backstage tool.
03:38It's reshaping how destinations predict demand,
03:40personalised experiences,
03:42and enhanced safety.
03:43From real-time data to predictive maintenance,
03:46AI is quietly powering the future of global tourism.
03:49We use a lot of new technology
03:51and we invest a lot of money in new technology.
03:54So, for us,
03:55I will give an example,
03:56CRM is critical for the business
03:59because we try to understand our customers
04:03the best possible way,
04:04and we want to understand
04:05what they want,
04:07what they don't want.
04:08Not only to get to know our customers
04:10in a better way,
04:11but also for maintenance,
04:13for instance,
04:14of the roller coasters,
04:16which, as you can imagine,
04:17is our priority.
04:18With strong ties to the Gulf,
04:20Malaysia is betting on ecotourism
04:22and heritage
04:23to lead its global campaign.
04:25And it's finding new traction
04:27in a more conscious travel economy.
04:29We are an ecotourism destination
04:31and we are also focusing
04:34on the community-based tourism.
04:37So, we are focusing now on sustainability
04:41and responsible tourism.
04:43As the tourism world resets its compass,
04:46ATM 2025 is a reminder
04:48that progress isn't just about moving faster,
04:50it's about moving forward,
04:52together and on purpose.
04:53With all this extraordinary to the market,
04:54we will be in order to objectives
04:57the best of all these opinions.
05:00Thank you very much for having us.
05:11Thank you.
05:13Thank you.
