00:11Fluoridated water is the great equalizer.
00:14It really benefits everybody, regardless of your age, gender, your ethnicity, your education level, your income level.
00:20It helps everyone.
00:22With the ban on fluoride, it is going to require behavior change and financial investment from the patients to continue taking fluoride supplements to take care of their teeth.
00:35And many of them will not even know that this ban has taken effect.
00:38So while fluoride in water has been quietly reducing tooth decay for the last two decades, without it, we are going to see a rapid decline in oral care.
00:52Ingesting fluoride systemically helps the teeth that are still developing instead of only covering the topical aspect of teeth.
01:17So children are going to be disproportionately affected by this ban.
01:21And you will see the results of this ban in 20, 30, 40 years when their adults and their teeth don't have as strong enamel as they could have if they had fluoride in the water.
01:33This is our founder, Dr. Montgomery.
01:37Any dentist can look in someone's mouth in Utah and tell exactly where they grew up.
01:44Did you grow up in a fluoridated area or a non-fluoridated area?
01:48We can tell.
01:49And this is very important for everyone to understand.
01:52There are no studies that are credible in our country that show detrimental effects of fluoride in an optimally fluoridated concentration.
02:07There are no studies that show any negative effects when it's optimally done.
02:12And we feel that across the country, many who are going down this path are not paying attention to the accurate data.
02:22In 1945, Grand Rapids, Michigan, became the first U.S. city to add fluoride to its drinking water in an effort to reduce tooth decay.
02:30In the 1950s, federal officials recommended that cities across the country could add fluoride to do the same thing.
02:37More and more studies have raised questions about the effect of fluoridated water on infants, specifically on their brain development.
02:46The concerns had to do with pregnant women drinking fluoridated water and the impact on the fetuses.
02:53And there were also concerns about infants who consumed formula that was mixed with fluoridated water.
02:59What's at issue and is not clear is at what level of fluoridation is there a hazard.
03:09And it's not clear.
03:10You can understand what levels are.
03:12You can understand that situation.
03:13You can understand this situation.
03:18What's at issue and what's at issue?
03:19You can know this situation-
03:24You can understand, and you need to understand,
03:27if you want to understand.
03:28Weird death againstattend, 快y-
03:32People are asked about and say you do to fly there.
03:36You can see on the subject.
