00:00Johnson was interviewed by GB News yesterday, and in it he was asked about reform's success
00:05at the local elections last week, and he says that Reform UK is not a threat, and he doesn't
00:11think there is going to be a Prime Minister Nigel Farage. How do you react to that?
00:17Well, there's certainly not going to be another Prime Minister Boris Johnson, thank God. And
00:21I think the reality is that the Tories are disappearing down a plug-off. The latest poll
00:26yesterday, with the Reform UK at 33%, the Tories down, and I think 17%, almost behind the
00:34Lib Dems. I mean, this is an existential change, and the voters voted with their feet on the
00:431st of May, and they voted hugely in favour of Reform UK. We've got, I think, well over
00:49two times the number of Labour voters. You know, Boris Johnson, frankly, he betrayed the
00:55British people. He didn't deliver Brexit properly, and of course he opened the doors to mass,
01:02cheap, low-skilled immigration that has had such a depressing effect on British wages, huge
01:08effect on our public services. So I think he's just a piece of history.
01:15Yeah, you've got some work to do, though, haven't you? I mean, you'll be aware, Richard,
01:19I mean, we get messages sometimes. We do the government rounds and the opposition rounds
01:23every morning on the key issues of the day. And we often get people messaging saying,
01:28well, why haven't you got Reform? Why aren't Reform talking about this? Well, you've got
01:32a problem, because you haven't got a Home Affairs spokesman, you haven't got a Foreign Affairs
01:36spokesman, you haven't got a Treasury spokesman, you haven't got a Health spokesman. You need
01:41to, don't you? You've got to start putting in place all of these sort of structures now,
01:46so that on all these issues, you've got an expert who can come on and talk to us.
01:51Well, maybe the voters have just actually demonstrated that they think our expertise,
01:54because we've been around the block a few times. I run a multi-billion pound multinational
01:58business, triple the share price in just four years. We've got a lot more experience than
02:03anybody on the Labour frontbench, anybody on the Tory frontbench. That's why voters have just
02:07voted Reform. And of course, we're growing up, we're growing in size and scale. But I think,
02:13at the end of the day, trust voters.
