Should London workers head back into the office?

We ask Londoners for their take on home working.

00:00Yeah, I mean, I'm a hybrid worker, so I'm actually home-based.

00:05So, and that came out of COVID, really.

00:08I got made redundant during COVID, and then I got a job that was,

00:11all the offices were closed.

00:12So, yeah, I don't think the genie's out of the bottle.

00:14I think, you know, look at London, the transport, it's easier.

00:18I believe hybrid working is the best way forward.

00:20I think in a combination of both being able to go in and stay at home and stuff like that,

00:23it's a fantastic thing because we are a progressive society.

00:27We're not going to have the ability to kind of go everywhere we have to be,

00:30but we also have technology that helps us.

00:33We have laptops, we have PCs, we have supercomputers in our pockets.

00:36So we have the ability to do a lot of stuff at home.

00:38So we should really utilize the stuff we have in a sense because society is changing.

00:43We have to change for society. If not, we could be left behind.

00:46You know, there's less training on resources.

00:49I mean, it depends on your age.

00:51I mean, I'm at the age where, you know, I can enjoy not being in the office as much.

00:56I think if you're younger, you probably miss out on that kind of learning social side.

01:01I'm also enjoying the world here, but this is something that we can do.

01:02I think this is so strange, okay?

01:03I look forward to seeing these kinds of things.

01:04But they're trying to learn to get the ability out of your own life.
