NCCA keeps fight for cultural legacy
National Commission for Culture and the Arts Executive Director Eric Zerrudo reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to uplifting the arts as a cornerstone of Filipino identity. “This is an auspicious occasion for all of us,” he said during the Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Batan on Wednesday at the Metropolitan Theater, calling on all citizens to recognize and celebrate the living heroes who carry forward the nation’s cultural legacy.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who attended the event gave assurances that his administration will work for cultural sustainability.
