00:00The crossover is brought to you by Abundant Life Weight Loss. They know the secret to losing up to one pound of fat every day.
00:06Go to AbundantLifeWeightLoss.com. Let's welcome in Willard and Dibbs. It is the crossover.
00:12And the Warriors stave off elimination and beat the Houston Rockets yesterday.
00:18I want stories. How'd you watch? What'd you do last night? I want everybody's stories.
00:24Go ahead first. No, what'd you do? He had a big dinner.
00:26I had Evan over and we watched it. Really? Nice. Try to.
00:31Evan was in Oakland. Just the two of you? Yeah. Okay. My man cave.
00:36Yeah, no, that's fine. I'm just trying to get a scene. I want to see the scene.
00:39Evan texted me and said, hey, I'm in Oakland. Where are you watching the game?
00:43He thought I was, you know, maybe going to be out, but no, I was in the lab.
00:47And so I said, come over here and watch it. And he took me up on it, brought a sixer or two.
00:53Nice. Nice. We cooked him dinner. He's a good kid.
00:56And he was out by 830, all the best part. Perfect. I love it. Perfect.
00:59I love it. Go, what'd you do?
01:01In the lab, had a little concoction and got a text from Steinmetz that I normally don't get right before tip.
01:07How you feeling? But now I know Evan was with him.
01:10Okay.
01:10And I said, you know what? As nervous as I am after running into you at the game Friday,
01:15seeing that, that was a, that was a bitter taste that was left in my mouth.
01:20But I said to him and I put on Twitter, I just don't see the chef letting them lose three in a row.
01:26And they didn't, but I didn't have Buddy on my bingo card, but I was nervous as all out.
01:31I don't have 33 points from Buddy Hill.
01:33He said Steve Kerr.
01:34Steve Kerr.
01:35Well, nobody had 33.
01:38Nobody had nine threes from Buddy.
01:41I mean, come on.
01:42Come on.
01:43Even if you thought, and Dibs did too, Dibs was more optimistic than I was yesterday,
01:48which is a big role reversal for us.
01:50No doubt, but, but even if you were optimistic, I don't, you, you couldn't have been confident.
01:56Dibs, that's all upstairs.
01:58Nobody waltzed into the room, did they?
02:00Nobody was like, we got this.
02:02Oh, nobody.
02:03No.
02:03And I just did the, uh, the numbers, not a deep dive, but a shallow dive.
02:07Buddy Heald in his career, regular year and playoffs, 725 games, 11 times.
02:14He scored 33 or more points.
02:161.5%.
02:17So, what he did yesterday was 1.5 in 100, and you needed pretty much all of it.
02:25I mean, you didn't need all of it, because you had the last one comfortably, but, and
02:29the last one was the Buddy Dagger, and he rode the pony, and he, shout out the Dibs.
02:34I hit the trifecta, which was nice.
02:36Good start to my weekend, but, you know, Buddy Heald rode the pony, and it's like, he's only
02:40done that, um, in his whole career, 11 times.
02:44Wow.
02:4511 times with 33 or more.
02:47Yeah, I, I just, all season long, as Kerr would go to him every single game for at
02:54least a, at least a few minutes, it's, like, he knew this was possible.
03:01That's why you play Buddy, because it's possible.
03:05And if you look at this series, he had three, and he had three good shooting games, and
03:11I, I, I think the one, he's going to be 6 for 13 or something like that, but you got
03:15to keep in mind, if you're shooting close to 50% in the playoffs, that's a good game.
03:20He had three really good games.
03:22They won them all.
03:23And that's, that's an X-factor wild card.
03:27The Warriors look like a squad to me that, that, you know, no matter, Jimmy has a good
03:31half, Steph has a good half, they might have a bad half, whatever.
03:34The, the, the Warriors become an elite team if they can just find one other guy to knock
03:41down his shots on that night.
03:43Old school Klay Thompson.
03:43You just need one other guy.
03:46And the frustrating part is, for the Warriors and for Steve Kerr, you got no idea, and on
03:51any given night, who that's going to be.
03:52By committee.
03:53Or who you're even going to try to have it be.
03:55But if you can, now, same thing, next series.
03:58Yeah.
03:58And I think you said this last week, Stiney, right, if you can just get a Buddy game, and
04:04a Pods game, maybe there's a Moody game in there.
04:07GP2.
04:08Or, right, or, or could Quentin Post knock down three or four, if you can just get one other
04:13guy to knock down his shots, they become a very, very hard team.
04:17Yeah.
04:18And again, I will not remind people that I was at the game Friday, but the biggest takeaway
04:22is I called, I did on Twitter.
04:24I was there too.
04:26And I said I saw you.
04:27But you had better seats.
04:28Go ahead.
04:29I called Draymond Green Joe Frazier because he's always, to me, the smallest of the bigs
04:34that he's chopped down.
04:35But game five and six, collectively, I just felt like him being the heart and soul.
04:41That's me doing that, putting that on his shoulders, Willard.
04:43I felt like he was gassed or at all.
04:46He was just done.
04:47And for him, and I'm doing this, just me going for the buster, that was his best playoff performance
04:53since game seven of 2016.
04:55The refs, I give them all the credit in the world.
04:58Oh.
04:58From the outset, they let them play.
05:00And Draymond, he brought it.
05:03And then to find out the backstory, Dibs, he gives a speech Saturday night.
05:07He calls his own self out, which, you know, but that's what, that's how you needed to start
05:12it.
05:12I thought he was awesome defensively.
05:15He was awesome.
05:15And, you know, you can give him the MVP and you did earlier, but still, if you look at
05:19the first half and what the team actually did and, you know, Mark had asked, you know,
05:24how I watched it and I watched it at home with my wife and my daughter and my father-in-law
05:29and, you know, my father-in-law, who's 81, he's wonderful and we're locked in and, you
05:34know, we're doing dinner and the whole thing.
05:36And we get down to where there is three and a half minutes to go.
05:39And I told him, I actually, earlier in the game, I'm like, you know what?
05:4295 wins it.
05:43He's like, 95?
05:45There's still 15 and a half minutes left.
05:47And I looked over and he's 81.
05:49So you don't want to like go too hard on him.
05:51But I'm like, it's the fourth quarter.
05:53And so I said, Pop-Pop, it's the fourth quarter.
05:56And he goes, where'd the third quarter go?
05:59And I said, Pop-Pop, yes.
06:01And so, you know, three and a half to go.
06:03Yeah.
06:04And shut up, Pop-Pop.
06:05And actually going into the fourth quarter, I had to tell my daughter, I said, Myla, you
06:10need to lock in.
06:11And, you know, she locked in for about nine seconds.
06:13She's two.
06:14And I said, you're out of here.
06:15I can't.
06:16We're not doing like you doing somersaults and you running around.
06:20You're out of here.
06:21It's big.
06:22It's the fourth quarter.
06:23We need to lock in.
06:24They did.
06:25We did.
06:26She watched Masha in the guest room.
06:28It was over.
06:30Awesome.
06:30And we got another series starting tomorrow.
06:33Another series.
06:33That's incredible.
06:34I text you in fear like this came in, can it?
06:37Oh, God.
06:38I text Willis.
06:39But, yeah.
06:40It's not a sniff.
06:41It's not a sniff.
06:43You all have my number.
06:45You're like, you're all welcome.
06:47I didn't get nothing back.
06:48I said, he just went to fail.
06:49I'm excited when you and Stiney text me because it comes in blue.
06:52When Dibs says it's green.
06:54But we deal with it.
06:55You all have my number.
06:57Yeah.
06:57And you can all send me whatever you want.
06:58I will.
06:59I will respond.
07:00But, yeah.
07:00You texted me.
07:02Let's go.
07:02I think 539.
07:06Let's go.
07:06I'm a game, bro.
07:07Let's respond with it.
07:09Okay.
07:09Let's go.
07:10Let's go.
07:11Like, can I get some content?
07:13I wanted you to be the content.
07:15That was me.
07:16Like, I'm watching with you, Dibs.
07:17I'm not with you, but I'm with you.
07:19Well, and you actually texted me Friday.
07:21Series changed when Van Vliet started making shots.
07:25Wait.
07:25You sent the exact same text to all of us.
07:27Why don't you just put us both on the thread?
07:30I don't know how you guys are.
07:31The same thing.
07:32Wait a minute.
07:33What's the time stamp on your guru, let's go text?
07:36Tell me.
07:37No.
07:37Yeah.
07:37What's yours?
07:38539.
07:39Mine's also 539.
07:40So we don't even know which one's first.
07:42You know what?
07:42The difference is, is mine looped in my significant other.
07:46We put Christy.
07:48The lovely Christy's on the text thread.
07:50Hold on, guys.
07:50I also got a text from you.
07:52538.
07:53Let's go.
07:53Okay.
07:54You're so blind.
07:55You're so blind.
07:56You're so blind.
07:57I just spread it out.
07:58What do you mean I'm blind?
07:59It's amazing.
08:00I know some people don't like to group text, so I get the solo feel to it.
08:04You are officially blocked.
08:08Blocked.
08:09But I don't know why.
08:10Because if you and I have an individual relationship, then let's have an individual relationship.
08:18Like, I've texted you individually.
08:20Yeah.
08:20I text Diney individually.
08:22Yeah, I text Diney, but I don't get anything back.
08:25But anyway, sometimes I do.
08:27No.
08:27How did this get to you?
08:29Did you get any more texts from Gu?
08:32His mind turned into a whole thread.
08:34Did you respond?
08:35Did you start sending him pictures?
08:36Of course I respond.
08:37You know my thing.
08:38I did respond to let's go.
08:40I did.
08:41He said let's go.
08:42Thank you, Willard.
08:43I said, come on, Gu.
08:44Let's do this.
08:45Then he made a Willie Adamas joke.
08:47Then my fiance started sending pictures to him.
08:50And then at 5.50.
08:52I just needed some comfort.
08:54At 5.59, he wrote, take Kaminga out.
08:57Get him out of the game.
08:58And he said, that's why I believe in timeout.
09:00I said, I think that's why he called timeout.
09:02He put Kaminga in.
09:03Two minutes later, he's like, I'm going to call timeout.
09:05So I watched it by myself, but I watched it with all my brethren.
09:09You know?
09:10I think an individual text, it hits better than a group text.
09:13Yeah, I got a.
09:14Did you get a text?
09:16We got one at about 6.
09:18We?
09:19Sit Kaminga.
09:20We.
09:20Me and Evan.
09:21Evan and I.
09:22That's a minute after he told me to take him out.
09:24And then I reminded Guru that Kaminga, he did break up an alley-oop.
09:30He did.
09:31Yes, he did.
09:31Yeah, he was out there.
09:32And then there were no more texts until the end of the game.
09:35When the lovely Christy texted him, yay.
09:38I don't do my Christmas cards like that.
09:40Wait, Willard, really quick, Willard.
09:41What was the Adamus joke that he made to you?
09:44Can Adamus play?
09:46He's on double emoji, fire, and then quadruple laughy emoji.
09:51He just sent me, can Adamus hoop?
09:53He's on three fire emojis.
09:55What time?
09:56Hey, that's Donnie.
09:57That was at 540.
09:58I also got 540.
10:00Cannot confirm who was first.
10:01I love my guys.
10:02I ain't embarrassed on that.
10:03If we can take this off of the Guru texting.
10:06Yeah, man.
10:08I just want to zero in on a couple things you guys were talking about.
10:12One is the Kaminga thing.
10:14And if you want to talk about Steve Kerr, and I'm looking at the game log right now,
10:18Kaminga bad pass turnover, first quarter, and then Thompson layup, timeout.
10:24Steve Kerr.
10:25Yep.
10:25Kaminga.
10:26I don't think you have to come out.
10:27That was a bad pass.
10:29It was, man.
10:30It was against the zone.
10:32Like, it's a zone.
10:33It was three feet away.
10:34It was just like, here, you want the ball?
10:36And I don't want to.
10:38Jonathan's in a terrible spot.
10:39So there's no, like, I don't even know how to assess the guy.
10:43But, yeah.
10:44He went in twice.
10:45Because you go in later in the game, and he did something else that was really, really bad.
10:50Yep.
10:51And Steve calls timeout.
10:53And he comes out, and then he gets subbed out.
10:55So it's not for me to say that Kaminga was a real problem.
10:59He wasn't great.
11:00But for me, one of my big takeaways last night was Steve Kerr and his use of timeouts.
11:05Masterful.
11:06And he knew that.
11:07He had a good night.
11:07It's funny you mentioned earlier that the Rockets never really threatened.
11:11They got within three.
11:13Timeout.
11:13When was that?
11:14Midway through the third?
11:15Late third.
11:15Late minutes ago.
11:16Late third.
11:17Yep.
11:18Yeah.
11:18Late third, they got within three.
11:20And he, okay, timeout.
11:22Kaminga, you come out.
11:23We go back with Buddy.
11:24And then they finished the quarter on a 5-0, 6-0 run.
11:27And they got things back to where they wanted.
11:29And they started the fourth quarter, I think, on a, was that the start of the fourth quarter,
11:32a little curry flurry?
11:34He went on a 5-0 run by himself.
11:36Feel like he pushed an eight-point game to 13 again.
11:38Something along those lines.
11:40Reminded me of what Van Vliet did to the Warriors on Friday night,
11:44which is the Warriors had cut it to two at the end of the third quarter.
11:48And then they fell asleep to start the fourth quarter.
11:51And I was glad Steve kind of, he took responsibility for that.
11:55Like, that was, for me, the gaffe of the series.
11:57You're down by two.
11:59You walk out.
12:00You leave Van Vliet alone.
12:01And he gets an open three.
12:02And then you foul him on his way.
12:04And he immediately turns that two-point game into a six-point game.
12:08They get another bucket.
12:08It's an eight-point game.
12:09They never got themselves back.
12:11He had a quick leash yesterday.
12:13And to go zone, the Rockets looked like they hadn't seen a zone in their life.
12:17To your earlier comment, Ogu, I mean, this is what we do.
12:20And it's been proven wrong over and over.
12:22But I don't know how to not do it.
12:24I don't know how you come out of Friday night's game not feeling like the Warriors looked old and out of dress.
12:32I listened to Devone and the callers.
12:34The callers, and there's not too many.
12:35But obviously, I guess not.
12:38You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGM, ZFM, and HD1 San Francisco.
12:42Always live on the free Odyssey app.
12:44Now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:46Laughing Monk righteously brewed in San Francisco.
12:50I feel like the way that can sometimes work is, yeah, I thought they looked gassed on Friday.
12:59And maybe what we saw yesterday was, you know, one great game from a bunch of great players.
13:08And they were able to stave it off.
13:12If they're not able to do that, what I'm saying is now the next series starts.
13:20Does it feel like it's game eight for the Warriors?
13:23Or does it feel like it's game one, a new game?
13:27And, like, how much rejuvenation do they get?
13:33You know what I mean?
13:34With one day off.
13:35I don't know.
13:36I don't know if they get rejuvenation as much as, like, you trust the veterans to understand how to help the room not do what's totally human nature.
13:46And, like, relax a little bit.
13:47Like, okay.
13:48Right?
13:49We got through that.
13:50But what I think rejuvenates them is it's a completely different matchup.
13:56And you're right.
13:57So all of that, all of the PTSD of the certain players and the grabbing and the holding and the Dylan Brooks and the Shingun and all those things, now you reboot.
14:07And it's a totally new matchup that may or may, like, it's going to bring new challenges.
14:12But now, you know, because game one is like this feeling out thing of, like, what's this going to look like?
14:18And who's got the right buttons to push?
14:21And Minnesota's been hanging out for five or six days.
14:25Don't get me wrong.
14:25I'd rather be that team.
14:27I'd absolutely rather be home with rest.
14:30But there is a scenario where the Warriors roll into tomorrow night kind of on a high.
14:35And Minnesota is, like, doesn't hit as many shots as they usually do or whatever.
14:40Because they've been waiting.
14:40They've been on the sideline waiting.
14:41They've been sitting around for a while.
14:42Yeah.
14:42I don't know.
14:43Yeah, I don't know either.
14:44I don't know either.
14:45But it's going to be fun.
14:46It's going to be a lot of fun.
14:48It seems like if you look at the trend on the Warriors and the Rockets, if the Warriors get the lead, they win.
14:55And I'm looking at all the games in the regular year and in the playoffs.
14:59And when the Warriors got the lead and they were able to front run, they won the game.
15:04And Game 5, I'm looking at Houston, who led 45 minutes and 50 seconds of the game in Game 5.
15:11And they won the game.
15:12Game 6, Houston led for 43 minutes.
15:15Man.
15:15And they won the game.
15:16Game 7, the Warriors led for 44 minutes.
15:19And they won the game.
15:21So I don't think that this is just endemic to the Warriors and Rockets.
15:24I do look at the Warriors, and I think that they are a team that does a lot better.
15:29And I haven't run all the numbers and all the games in all the regular year on when they lead and when they win and when they don't lead more and when they don't win.
15:38But this team feels to me more and more like a front-running team.
15:42What were the three games you just mentioned?
15:44Game 5.
15:45What was 4?
15:46Who led the most in Game 4?
15:484 was a great game.
15:49That was the game of the series.
15:50Yeah, that's the one.
15:51I want to say the Warriors led.
15:53Remember, they had that lead and the Rockets ran them down.
15:55They had the first and third quarter starts.
15:57But outside of that, it was the right.
15:59Yeah.
15:59And the Rockets led for a lot of it, didn't they?
16:01Warriors led for 30 minutes, and the Rockets led for 14.
16:05Yeah.
16:06And almost.
16:07What about the other four?
16:08Yeah, what happened to the other four?
16:09Were they tied?
16:09They were tied.
16:10They must have been tied.
16:11Yep.
16:123-14.
16:123-14, they were tied.
16:14All right.
16:14So, I mean, and that was the game where it was like the real, and you always talk about it,
16:18and maybe you're right, and I hate to admit that here in open forum,
16:21but the even games are pivotal, and I think about this upcoming series,
16:26because honestly, game one for me, for the Warriors, feels like a little bit of a wish
16:30now-ski.
16:31Like, if you're down 31-14, all right, Steph, Draymond, Jimmy, we're not going to push,
16:38push, push.
16:39Maybe not that early, but yeah, I hear you.
16:41But you know what I'm saying?
16:41Yes.
16:42Yeah.
16:42And you look at the minutes they played last night, and they flew today,
16:45they're actually still in the air at this hour, getting ready to land in Minnesota.
16:48Uh-oh.
16:50Well, that's what you have to do.
16:51Late arrival.
16:52Well, I mean, they're probably landing now, but the point being, like, if tomorrow is looking
17:00like it's not going your way, it's okay to go, like, remember the old NFL where they
17:05had the quick kick, which we don't see anymore?
17:08It'd be like third and 28, and the quarterback would go in the shotgun, and he'd just punt
17:13the ball.
17:14I want to say Randall Cunningham punted one about 94 yards one time.
17:18Because he was a punter at UNLV.
17:20It was like the longest, greatest quick kick of all time.
17:23No, but you know, I mean, that's something we got to get used to.
17:27Like, Steve Kerr's not making any bones about it.
17:31They have to try to win and manage these guys at the same time.
17:35So, you know, people that are saying everybody's making too much out of the age and the experience,
17:41it's like, well, they have to.
17:43They have to deal with this.
17:45And it's every other day now for games one through five.
17:47Come on, now.
17:48So, they will have played.
17:49Man.
17:50Every other day.
17:51They're already on every other day.
17:53It's continuing.
17:54Tuesday.
17:55Right.
17:55Wednesday.
17:56Friday.
17:57Sunday.
17:58Tuesday.
17:59Thursday.
17:59Saturday.
18:00Monday.
18:01Wednesday.
18:02Nine games in, like, 18 days.
18:04No back-to-backs.
18:05And if the series can go to six games, they get three days off.
18:09I got you.
18:10After game five.
18:11That was a quirk in the schedule that I wasn't expecting.
18:15If they do after game five, they have a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off before they would be back here at home for game six.
18:23Speaking of quirk, I mean, if I may, and this is something that I've been, you know, going through this morning and doing my deep dive dibs and trying to, like, find all the different stuff about the playoffs and Steph Curry.
18:36And I looked at it, and Steph Curry, after he opens up against Minnesota, he will have played a playoff series against every team in the West except two.
18:47One of them is the Golden State Warriors.
18:50Spoiler alert.
18:51Ooh, that was going to be my guess.
18:53Who is the other team that Steph Curry has never faced in the playoffs?
18:58Grandy, if you would, please.
18:59Okay.
19:00I feel like I can see this.
19:02Hold on.
19:04Hold on.
19:08Mark's Googling it.
19:09No, I'm staring at the list of teams.
19:12Goony, yes.
19:13It's either Phoenix or Utah.
19:16It's either Phoenix or Utah.
19:18I can remember all the other ones.
19:20The team said I had four guesses.
19:24I'm really trying to stick it to them.
19:26Stick it in me.
19:32Go.
19:33Come on now.
19:34Are you here?
19:35No, you can go.
19:35I didn't know if it fell asleep.
19:36I made my guess.
19:37Yeah, he said Phoenix.
19:40Shot clock down to seven.
19:42I'm going Minnesota.
19:45Well, then, wasn't the premise after?
19:47Yeah, yeah.
19:47Yeah, okay.
19:48The premise was after.
19:49You know what?
19:50I'm so pissed off on text, Gay.
19:52I don't want to play.
19:53What?
19:53I don't want to play.
19:54I don't want to play.
19:55Why are you pissed off?
19:56Yeah, I didn't like it.
19:56What?
19:57Which part of it?
19:58I didn't like the whole theme of it.
19:58No, like I want you.
20:00Go ahead, Dias.
20:01Give us an answer.
20:02I just want to know.
20:03It is the Phoenix Sun.
20:04The Phoenix Sun.
20:05I don't remember the Utah one.
20:07When did he play Utah?
20:09Utah was in 2017.
20:11They went Portland, Utah, Spurs, and then Cleveland on their way to their second title.
20:18Man, I do not remember.
20:19That's a hole in my brain.
20:21I don't know.
20:22I do not.
20:23I forgot Utah.
20:24That was the second title.
20:26That was the first KD.
20:27Why do I think Utah won game four?
20:32They may have.
20:33Actually, I think that one went six.
20:35I'd have to look it up for...
20:36I can't remember.
20:37Who did Utah have?
20:38I have to tell you.
20:39Like, who did they have?
20:40Was that Boozer?
20:42That can't be Boozer.
20:42I was literally going to say the same name, but there's no way.
20:45Alex Burks, Crowder, Dante Exum, Derek Favors, Go Bear.
20:49No answer for Favors.
20:51Rodney Hood.
20:51There's got to be another good player on that team.
20:54Joe Ingles, never.
20:55Joe Ingles, never.
20:56Former Joe Johnson.
20:57I've got your answer about game four.
20:59Donovan Mitchell.
21:00Donovan Mitchell.
21:01Okay.
21:02Donovan Mitchell.
21:03Did Utah win game four?
21:05Final score.
21:06Oh, boy.
21:07121 to 95.
21:09Warriors to complete a four-game sweep.
21:11Oh, so the Utah didn't win.
21:13That was the sort of series.
21:15Oh, boy.
21:15That one's lost in the archives.
21:18That's pretty good.
21:19Steph Curry all-time, 24-5 in series.
21:2324-5 in series in which he plays.
21:26The only teams to have a winning record against him, Toronto and the Lakers.
21:32That's it.
21:33Real quick.
21:33What about I?
21:33Did you already mention the roster of Utah?
21:35Yeah, yeah.
21:35Did you just go to the whole thing?
21:37I did it fast.
21:38You can go.
21:38No, I was just going to say, because one of the players on that Utah Jazz team will be
21:42going against the Warriors starting tomorrow night.
21:45Did you mention that name?
21:46Rudy Gobert.
21:47Rudy Gobert.
21:47Yeah, I did mention him.
21:49And I think they're going to play him off the court, hopefully.
21:51But there is no Shingun.
21:52We can talk about all we want, but the good Shingun was a problem.
21:56But what about Steph?
21:59Stiney was kind of the oldest player to lead his team in a playoff series in points, assists,
22:05and rebounds.
22:06Like, to me, I'm like, that's big time.
22:08It is big time.
22:09And just what I saw last night was a guy who understood what was going on.
22:13And, I mean, honestly, if Buddy didn't do what he did, and give love to Draymond for
22:18knocking down early threes.
22:20But if Buddy wasn't as hot as he was, and if Draymond wasn't scoring, maybe Steph does
22:24things differently.
22:25But he saw what was going on.
22:27And this is where, when we talk about the chef, you have to kind of, like, understand
22:31that he is the Albert Einstein of not only basketball, but pro sports.
22:36Wow, Oppenheimer.
22:37He understands.
22:38Right.
22:39Oppenheimer.
22:39A guy who built a bomb and, you know, ruined millions of people's lives.
22:42So, that's awesome.
22:43But, I mean, the chef.
22:44He shoots bombs.
22:46Yeah.
22:46I mean, one last night, right?
22:48Nice save.
22:49But he laid back, and he just, he realized that the game, it was not his game in the first
22:54half.
22:54Wow.
22:55Dibs, the guy's incredible.
22:57Incredible.
22:58I mean, you're absolutely right.
22:59And I said this to Goo, I can't stand when people are like, oh, Butler and Curry got to
23:04come out aggressive, aggressive, aggressive.
23:06It's like, no, they don't.
23:08Like, it's not always good when a guy gets 20 in the first quarter.
23:13It's like, Steph, you're right.
23:16He didn't need to take 26 shots because they were up nine for a lot of the game.
23:22And as long as they're up nine and guys are doing their jobs, he just, I thought he was
23:27really good last night.
23:29Like, he didn't turn the ball over.
23:30I didn't, too.
23:31He made, you know, he shot, the 16 he shot, he made half, he made four of 10 from three,
23:36rebound, like, he was good.
23:37Really good.
23:38Well, seven, the team turned the ball over seven times.
23:41Incredible.
23:41And by memory, I'm not 100% sure.
23:44I think that that's the lowest number that any one team had in any of the games.
23:49And by the way, the turnover margin did end up being undefeated in the series.
23:53Whoever had lower turnovers won all seven games.
23:56And yes, if the whole team has seven turnovers, that means Steph was magnificent.
24:01And quite frankly, it comes off of three consecutive games where I was kind of like.
24:07Pedestrian for him.
24:07Yeah, I was not, I mean, he scored what I thought was not a very efficient 30 on Friday night.
24:14He missed his first few and I was like, I didn't see Buddy happening.
24:17I was like, oh boy, we're in trouble.
24:19But speaking of Chef, real quick, your thoughts when you got GP2 out.
24:23Pods was out.
24:24It's Houston.
24:25Kaminga.
24:26And then GP, who's cooking?
24:28I was already in.
24:29What's going on?
24:30I was already in Lick My Woundsville by the time GP2 got announced out.
24:36I was already like.
24:37You don't get there much.
24:37No, I don't.
24:38But I really thought last night was going to be the end of the year.
24:41I really did.
24:42Div, you and I.
24:43And I'm almost thankful for the distraction that I had.
24:46I hate this.
24:48But in the end, I was thankful for it.
24:50Like, I had to do the Fox show.
24:54Whoop.
24:54Literally covered almost the entire game.
24:57So I've got to sit there.
24:59And we're talking about, like, Malik Neighbors.
25:02Oh, you had to miss.
25:04And, you know, like being a diva wide receiver with his comments this week.
25:08And I'm like, guys, I don't even know what the hell Malik Neighbors said this week.
25:13I'm so waist deep in what's going on, Warriors.
25:15And we're sitting there talking about this while I'm sitting in front of a television watching the game of the year unfold.
25:22It's kind of gut-wrecking.
25:23Tell them you're mad at them for Friday about the bet.
25:26No, I'm mad.
25:26That you found out about.
25:27What bet?
25:29Oh, I'm mad at you, too.
25:30I didn't know.
25:31Why didn't you guys tell me?
25:32I could have helped you.
25:33You should know.
25:34I told you.
25:35You told me what?
25:36You sang and they lost.
25:38And you put this entire franchise.
25:40No, no, no.
25:41This is the pizza.
25:42I didn't sound like he wasn't there.
25:43This is the pizza.
25:43I know you're talking pizza.
25:45I'm talking about your singing.
25:47You sang the damn song.
25:48Oh, that was it.
25:49You sang and it means you're going to win a series.
25:51That's what it means.
25:52Okay.
25:52I forgot that.
25:53Whoa.
25:53If you ever sing when the Warriors.
25:57Seven games this next week.
25:58I thought about it.
25:59If they've got a home game six in this series and they're up 3-2, take the day off.
26:06Luckily, actually, it's a Sunday.
26:08My two and I.
26:09And then they're guaranteed to win a series.
26:11No, because it's too stressful.
26:13All right.
26:13You put this whole city at risk with that maneuver.
26:17You put the whole city at risk and you lucked out.
26:21You think your career is because of Steph and even more so today than ever before.
26:25Coming up tomorrow, does Stiney have the guts to go on the air and pick the T-Wolves over the Warriors?
26:32That's coming up tomorrow now if you want.
26:34I can answer that now if you want.
26:34I'm the friend coaching.
26:36He's not a childhood friend.
26:40I didn't even meet him until he was a grown man.
26:43Dude, I look at him.
26:43I'm a pitcher of Stiney coaching.
26:45He's a fellow alone.
26:46I'm a pitcher of Stiney.
26:47Is he an adulthood friend?
26:50They're from the same hood.
26:52That's a fair question.
26:53We've got three weeks to get into this.
26:55No, we really don't.
26:55No, we don't.
26:56The game's tomorrow night.
26:57We've got a game.
26:58We've got tomorrow.
26:58Will Stiney have the guts?
27:00Wow.
27:01Call him out.
27:02Or as you would say, gutless.
27:04Is Stiney gutless?
27:052-15.
27:05What are you guys doing?
27:07You could walk away.
27:07I'm going to get some pizza.
27:08All right, gents.
27:11Take it home and let's go.
27:13Go Dubs.
27:14Go Dubs.
27:15Yeah, that felt authentic.
27:17Go home.
27:18This guy is such a D.
