00:00In the Gaza Strip, Palestinian authorities are on alert given the worsening of the current
00:04humanitarian crisis brought on by the blockade imposed by Israel on the enclave.
00:10Authorities from the health institution have warned about the spread of diseases, infections
00:15and deaths due to malnutrition, especially among children, because of the attacks by
00:19the Israeli occupation.
00:21They say tens of thousands of children and women must wait in long lines to get some
00:26food because of the shortage of essential supplies as the Tel Aviv regime prevents the replenishment
00:33of products by denying entrants to aid sent by international organizations.
00:42Israel's expansionist and genocidal plan against the Gaza Strip continues with another 40 civilians
00:47killed over the last 24 hours.
00:50Health authorities in Gaza also reported 125 people injured while more victims remain trapped
00:56under the rubble, so the number of dead and wounded could increase.
01:00They also denounced the aggressions of Israeli troops against emergency personnel, ambulances
01:05and rescue teams, which prevents the care of many of the victims.
01:10According to official data from the Gaza Strip Health Ministry, over 52,530 people have been
01:17killed and 118,491 wounded since October 7, 2023.
01:28The Israeli-Sionist regime called up 60,000 reservists to expand the occupation in Palestine
01:35as part of its genocidal and colonialist actions in the Middle East.
01:38According to local media reports, most of the reservists will be sent to the Lebanese border,
01:44to Syria or to the occupied West Bank, with the purpose of releasing regular combat units
01:50for relocation to Gaza.
01:52The decision generated strong criticisms from the families of the Israeli hostages held in
01:56Gaza, who warned that intensifying the military campaign would only endanger their lives.
02:03The families blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for sacrificing the hostages for military
02:08objectives instead of trying to rescue them.
02:11They also directly addressed Israel's chief of staff, Ejal Samir, urging him to halt any
02:18further operations in Gaza.
02:26The United States House of Representatives will vote on a bill that would impose serious
02:30sanctions on citizens who participate in boycotts of the Israeli regime.
02:34If passed, the legislation would expand existing US anti-boycott laws to penalize those who
02:40engage in peaceful political action, especially those who align themselves with the boycott,
02:46divestment and sanctions movement.
02:49The legislation, co-sponsored by Propa Israeli Mike Lawler and Josh Gothamir, proposes punishments
02:57of up to $1 million in fines or up to 20 years in prison.
03:01Human rights organizations condemned the bill, warning that it would criminalize freedom of
03:06expression, which is protected by the Constitution.
