Transcript
00:00We now begin with the information Israel has killed at least 45 people across Gaza on Friday
00:20as heavy strikes hit the north and south of the coastal enclave that also suffers
00:24from a severe humanitarian crisis due to the Israeli blockade.
00:30According to on-ground reports, six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air raid
00:34that hit a makeshift barbershop in central Han Yunis,
00:38while at least 10 others were killed after Israel bombed a home in Bani Suheila.
00:45Attacks in Rafa in the south, Gaza City, and Atoum in the north targeting tents and houses
00:51also left a number of fatal casualties.
00:54Over 51,000 Palestinians have been massacred by Israel since October of 2023.
01:00Strikes on Gaza continue despite warnings from the UN and measures from the International Court of Justice.
01:07I was sleeping and woke up to my house collapsing on top of me.
01:16I didn't hear the sound of a missile or anything else.
01:18The house was collapsing.
01:19I got out and didn't know what was happening.
01:21People opened the door and started carrying my sons.
01:23Eight of our family were killed.
01:25We were 21 people.
01:26Meanwhile, a protest movement led by nearly 1,000 Israeli Air Force veterans signing letters
01:33calling for an immediate end to the Gaza war has rapidly spread across the Israeli military
01:39with thousands of reservists and retired soldiers from multiple elite units.
01:43These letters accused Prime Minister Netanyahu's government of prolonging the conflict for political reasons,
01:49exposing deep divisions and growing disillusionment within Israeli society and the military
01:55over the war's purpose and its costs.
01:58The Israeli military responded by dismissing active reservists who signed the protest,
02:02while Netanyahu dismissed the dissent as the work of a small foreign-influenced minority claiming
02:10that it was unsupported by evidence.
02:12The crisis has strained the military's reliance on reservists with increasing numbers refusing to report for duty.
02:21We are aware of the relative importance and weight of the brand Israeli Air Force pilots
02:34and thought that it is exactly the kind of case where we should use this title in order to influence the society.
02:47The letter is not talking to the army, it is not talking to pilots, it is aimed and therefore we are not calling for any refusal
02:55or anything that the soldiers should do.
02:58As we thought, the moment that this letter was published, the whole country is talking about it for the past three or four days
03:06and many other units of the army, of the armed forces, have followed us.
03:12There were letters by the armor units, thousands of them have signed, by the paratroopers, by the intelligence, by the navy and the special units
03:26and many, many, many others.
03:28It is crystal clear that the renewal of the war is for political reasons and not for security reasons.
03:37It is very, very clear that the radical ministers have not even tried to hide it.
03:42They did not do it behind closed doors.
03:45They announced it every day.
03:47Either he renews the war or...
03:51Meanwhile in Yemen, at least 74 people were killed after U.S. bombing raids on the oil port of Ras-Isa on the Red Sea coast.
04:00The United States Central Command carried out a series of airstrikes along the western coast of Yemen,
04:05this time targeting the oil port of Ras-Isa, also injuring 171 people.
04:12The attack is one of the deadliest since the U.S. launched airstrikes against the Hoodies
04:17and U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January.
04:21It should be noted that the operation came days after the Ansarala movement announced on March 12th
04:27a ban on the entry of Israeli-linked vessels into regional waters
04:32in response to the Israeli blockade on aid entering the Gaza Strip.
04:37And in this context, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces Yaya Sari announced the launching of retaliatory attacks
04:52targeting U.S. aircraft carriers in the Red and Arabian seas following the strikes on the Ras-Isa oil port
04:59warning that the continued U.S. aggressions would only lead to further confrontation.
05:03The missile force, the unmanned aerial vehicle, and the naval forces carried out a double military operation
05:15targeting the U.S. aircraft carriers Truman and Vinson, and their warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian sea,
05:23with a number of cruise missiles and drones.
05:30This was the first operation against the Vinson since its arrival in the Arabian sea.
05:37The United States military build-up and continued aggression against our country will only lead to further attacks,
05:43targeting, clashes, and confrontations.
