Ramban: Three soldiers died after an Army vehicle plunged into a 600-meter-deep gorge in the Battery Chashma area on Sunday. A joint rescue operation by the Army and local authorities is ongoing.

This marks the third such incident involving Army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir in the past six months. On January 4, four soldiers were killed and two injured when a truck fell into a gorge in Bandipora district.

Officials said the vehicle in Sunday’s incident slipped off the road, leading to the fatal crash.
