00:00Hey, how's it going? Good. How you doing? I brought you some autographed Hollywood
00:04postcards from the 1950s. We have Babe Ruth. Whoa. The great Gambino. It's Bambino.
00:12Oh. The collection is over 250 vintage Hollywood autographed postcards. Some of
00:19them are hard to read. Some have a really bad penmanship. I am hoping to get $2,500
00:24for it today and I think I'll take around $1,000. Let's start here. Where
00:29did you get them? My great-uncle was a grip in Hollywood in the 50s and he would
00:34have him sign them and then send them to my mom and she gave them to me. Okay, this
00:40is incredible. We got John Wayne, Lucille Ball. I can understand it, you know, how
00:46you would be able to get them. An actor is less likely to say no to an autograph if
00:50they have to work and see somebody every day. We have Jerry Lewis, Vincent Price,
00:55Lauren McCall. It's been a while since something left me speechless. What you
01:01have here is really, really amazing. The thing with this collection is that
01:04there's so many of them. I don't know if some, all, or none of these are real and
01:08if they are real, I don't know if they're worth more than the others. Without
01:11knowing a bit more, I don't know how to price this. So I called up my buddy Steve to
01:15come down and take a look. That's like a pretty crazy assemblage here. So far it's
01:21everything from Babe Ruth to Marilyn Monroe. Wow, I mean I'm kind of blown away
01:27by all this. Just the fact that they all, they're all dated. This makes it great. I
01:32mean actually I think that's probably the more cool thing, the dates on each one.
01:35That's pretty awesome. I mean you could, you could chart these things exactly to when
01:38they were signed. It's okay if I have a look through some of these? Okay. All right.
01:44You guys know who this is? Jimmy Stewart. That's Jimmy Stewart. One of the most
01:48famous actors of all time. You guys know who that is? Paul Newman. The great actor
01:52Paul Newman. He's one of the toughest autographs to obtain in person. There's no
01:56doubt that his uncle was pretty well liked on the set to be able to approach
01:59someone like Marilyn Monroe. Babe Ruth, I mean this guy must have been really
02:03popular. It's just an amazing assemblage. I mean we're looking at a bunch of
02:07deceased celebrities. Stuff that you're not going to get signed anymore. And the
02:11most important thing to collectors, that's a vintage dated signature. And
02:14that's a really big deal. So, what do you think?
02:20This stuff is all no good. It was a big waste of my time to stand here and go
02:26through this stuff. I mean that's the unfortunate part about it. Really?
02:31No. Actually, it's probably one of the best collections I've ever seen.
02:37Awesome. Yeah. I can't tell you how rare this stuff is. I don't know if you guys have ever
02:42heard of Elvis Presley. Oh. But he's here too. Did you know that? No. Yeah. Elvis Presley made an
02:48appearance in here. Great example. The guy's not an autograph guy. He didn't get him in person. So he
02:53really had no idea that someone like Elvis Presley was just sitting at the bottom of the stack.
02:57That is incredible. What do you think they're worth? An amazing collection. When I look at the
03:03signatures in here, pretty crazy. We're talking Humphrey Bogart. I saw Boris Karloff, Jerry Lewis,
03:08Willie Mays. I could just keep going on and on. You're looking at anywhere from about
03:12$8,000 to $12,000. Wow. I really, really appreciate it. Of course. Anytime, Mac.
03:22Start at $8,000 then? I'm going to be really honest with you. I'm going to get a lot of money
03:27for these when I sell them. But it's going to take years and it's going to take money. As great as it
03:32is to have Babe Ruth's signature, it's really hard to sell it on a postcard in a stack. It's going to
03:39have to be displayed, put it in a frame. He wanted $2,500. I'll give you $6,000. You're going to take
03:45$6,000? Um... Yeah, I think so. It works. I'm sure my mom will be really, really surprised that we
03:57got $6,000 for it. Although, I might keep it a secret. Where's all my house fast?
