00:00You also got to experience weightlessness.
00:02How did that feel?
00:03And were there any funny moments in zero gravity while you were up there?
00:08Yes, I thought, OK, you're going to pull off your seatbelt and you're going to like float up lightly.
00:13Well, right before we hit the launch pad, I had the privilege of talking to two individuals.
00:19And so NASA astronauts, Jeanette Epps and Joan Higginbotham were there as part of my cohort.
00:26And I asked them, I was like, hey, ladies, what do I need to know about microgravity?
00:31And they were like, Aisha, whatever you do, don't do too much.
00:36You are so buoyant.
00:38I mean, the moment you take off your seatbelt, you just float right up.
00:42And so for me, I was really nervous that I was going to hit the top of the capsule.
00:46So the seatbelt comes off and then I immediately lift up.
00:50And there's a moment of like shock where I'm like, oh, my gosh,
00:54I felt like I was floating away like a balloon.
00:56And so I grab onto the handholds and I realized that sit-ups actually help for something.
01:03And I was like, OK, I've got my hands here and I'll be able to get my feet into the toehold and orient myself.
01:11But it takes just a small touch to move around in microgravity.
01:16It's really the most elegant sort of feeling of being able to just turn your body entirely upside down like I did in the capsule with just a mere turn of my wrist.
