00:00The Late National, artist for film and the Philippine cinema's action king, Fernando FPJ Poe Jr.'s family,
00:07is grateful after his films have made it to the memory of the World Programme of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO.
00:16A total of 168 films of FPJ were properly preserved by his family in the FPJ film archives.
00:22This includes his films about effects of World War II, political instabilities, social inequality, injustices and poverty.
00:31UNESCO's Heritage Programme aims to preserve the notable films in the country, honor the documentary heritage and make it accessible to the public.
00:40More than that, there were also nine Philippine documents and collections included in UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme, International, Regional and National Registers.
