00:38get forty pieces, but this time we didn't find it on the menu.

01:52Here are all of the McDonald's menu items from the U.S. that you won't find in Mexico.

02:01The U.S. has a few burgers that you won't find in Mexico, like the deluxe Quarter Pounder

02:13Mexico has a lot of exclusive items.
02:15We're gonna start with these four, the Signatory Burgers.
02:17This is the CBO, it has one party, it has onions on it, and cheese, and bacon.
02:25This is the double, it's the same as the last one, the CBO.
02:29It has only two parties, with bacon and cheese.
02:35This is the first time I tried it, and I like it a lot.
02:39Next one, we have the Signature Clubhouse.
02:41It has one party only, bacon, and this one has salad inside with tomatoes and lettuce.
02:47And I guess this is McSauce.
02:50And this is the double Signature Clubhouse.
02:53Same as last one, but with two parties.
02:57The McDouble, which is my personal favorite burger at McDonald's.
03:01So here's what the McDouble looks like inside.
03:04It's two patties, a slice of cheese, it's got pickles, onions, mustard, ketchup.
03:10The patties are also more like smash burgers instead of the thick-cut patties.

03:18Here we have some more of the exclusive items from Mexico.
03:21We have right here, this is the Triple Cheeseburger.
03:26It looks good, a lot of cheese right there.
03:28Next, we have the Magnifica, that I actually never tried before.
03:32Maybe I can try this one.
03:35So for me, the Magnifica and the Gourmet Burger taste the same.
03:40Like, I can't find any difference.
03:42Just this one has lettuce, and this one doesn't.
03:45And different color of cheese.
03:47But that's it, it tastes the same for me.
03:49Here we have the Double Grand Tasty.
03:53This one has a lot of cheese, tomato, double tomato.
03:58This is the Triple Grand Tasty.

04:49That bread looks actually pretty good.
04:51I feel like my co-hosts have a lot stronger opinions
04:54on chicken sandwiches, but I think this one is actually pretty good.
04:57It's a very passable chicken sandwich.
05:00There's also the iconic Filet-O-Fish.
05:03I do want to take a bite of this.
05:05I feel like I've tried it on this show before,
05:08but I always forget what it tastes like, because I never order it.
05:10The packaging is also really, really cute.
05:12It's got little waves on it, so you know you're eating a fish.
05:16The newer McDonald's packaging is really doing it for me.
05:19Like, this is really cute.
05:21It tells you what you're eating.
05:22And they also have it for the chicken sandwiches.

05:27I also want to take a second to say this bun is gorgeous.
05:30I feel like this is the prettiest sandwich I've ever seen.

05:46In Mexico, we also have some exclusive chicken items.
05:49This is the Double Grand Tasty.
05:51It has, of course, tomatoes and lettuce.
05:54I guess mayo and two pieces of chicken.
05:57This is the same thing, but triple.
05:59It looks super big.
06:01Actually, it's a lot of chicken in there.
06:03This one right here is the McCrispie.
06:05It has a piece of chicken, bacon, and this white sauce with onions as well.
06:11Looks very good.
06:14I actually really like this one.
06:15It's not like the chicken from the McNuggets.
06:17It's like a actually grilled chicken.
06:20All right, moving on to my left.
06:21We have the Grand Bacon Deluxe Triple Chicken and Double Chicken.
06:28This one looks super big as well.
06:31It has three pieces of chicken, cheese, tomatoes, and bacon.
06:37The only exclusive side we seem to have is the apple slices,
06:40which you can get in a Happy Meal or as an actual side.
06:44I'm super excited for this.
06:45We move on to the Happy Meals.
06:48Here in Mexico, we call it Cajita Feliz, which means Happy Meal.
06:52And here in Mexico, you have three options.
06:54You can get four-piece McNuggets.
06:56You can get hamburger or a burger with tomato and lettuce.
07:00Let's open this one and see what's inside.
07:02All right, first, we have the kid-size fries.
07:06Actually, in Mexico, that's the only side that you can get, just fries.
07:10All right, we have a burger right here.
07:12This is the hamburger, kid-size.
07:15And then you get this Joplait yogurt.
07:19It's a baby one, perfect for dessert.
07:21And my favorite part, the toy.

07:25This is from the Disney collection.
07:27Let's see what's inside the second one.
07:29We have the same fries, heat-size.
07:34And we have the four-piece McNuggets.
07:37Next, we have the Joplait yogurt.

07:45You also can get the tomato and lettuce burger.
07:47In Mexico, with your Happy Meal, you can get three options of drinks.
07:50You can get orange juice, you can get apple juice, and also you can get water.
07:55In Mexico, we also have two options of breakfast Happy Meals.
08:00You can get three hotcakes, or you can get scrambled eggs with muffins.
08:05In the US, your Happy Meal options are a four-piece McNugget meal,
08:08a six-piece McNugget meal, or a hamburger meal.
08:11American kids have the option for two extra nuggets compared to Mexico.
08:15For sides, you get a kid-size fry and apple slices.
08:18Then you pick a kid's drink. You have the options of a 1% low-fat milk jug,
08:23reduced-sugar low-fat chocolate milk jug, Dasani water,
08:27or Honest Kids Appley Ever After organic juice drink.
08:30So we got two Happy Meals because there are two options for toys.
08:33You can get a regular kid's toy or a toddler toy,
08:36and I was interested to see what you get in each.
08:39We got the same freaking toy.
08:41What if I was a toddler?
08:43So the toy that comes in this one is a Just Dance...
08:47Is this a card?
08:48That's like not a fun toy. I could watch a YouTube video.
08:52This is supposed to be so easy, like a three-year-old can figure it out,
08:56and it took me several, several minutes.
08:58So we have this little thing that you spin.
09:00So wherever he lands on, that means that he landed on this blue thing,
09:04which means we have to find the blue T-Rex card.
09:08And then you do the dance move on the card.
09:10As a little palate cleanser, let's just look at these cute little fries.

09:15For babies.
09:16With the Happy Meals, you do have the option of just getting an extra portion of fries
09:20instead of the apple slices.
09:22You can get two of these, which is super cute.
09:26Doubly cute.
09:27Here are all of the exclusive drinks you'll find in the U.S.
09:30We have Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, High Sea Orange Lava Burst,
09:35lemonade, sweetened iced tea.
09:38Let's try the sweetened iced tea.
09:43That was really bad.
09:44It's extremely sweet and it tastes too much like tea.
09:48Then we have the unsweetened iced tea,
09:51a regular tea, which let me see what kind of tea this is.
09:55So the tea looks to be like an orange and black tea,
09:58which sounds kind of interesting.
10:01Here in Mexico, we have one exclusive drink,
10:03which is Cidral Mundet that you cannot find in the USA.
10:06It's actually super good, very tasty, and very refreshing.
10:10We usually have it in the summer.
10:12It's like an apple soda, pretty much.
10:14So this is the frozen blue raspberry Fanta.
10:17I think we should taste it.
10:18It looks terrible, but we're gonna try it.
10:22I'll drink anything blue, I think.
10:25Let me just try to help it a little.
10:26If this was actually frozen, I would love this.
10:31It's really, really good.
10:32There's also the frozen Coke, which I've had before.
10:35It's pretty delicious.
10:36And we have two smoothies, a strawberry banana smoothie
10:39and the mango pineapple smoothie.
10:41I don't think I've ever tried a McDonald's smoothie,
10:44so let's see what this tastes like.
10:49It's actually really, really good.
10:51I really like that.
10:52And in the US, we have chocolate chip cookies,
10:55which you can get in this cute little tote,
10:57if you're in the mood to have 13 of them.
10:59These are actually one of the better
11:01fast food cookies I've had.
11:03Okay, for desserts in Mexico, you can get
11:05sundae chocolate, sundae caramel, apple pie,
11:11Oreo milkshake, cheese pie, and this little yogurt.
11:17Now we're gonna try the cheese pie,
11:19because I believe this is something
11:20you guys don't have in the States.
11:22It looks very crunchy.
11:24Maybe you're gonna hear this.
11:27It's like a lot of flavor in it.
11:29It's very soft inside and crunchy outside.
11:32I really like it.
11:33Cheese pie.
11:34I actually will give it a eight out of 10.
11:37As you can see, there is a lot of chocolate in there.
11:40Let's try it.
11:43That was super cold.
11:44It's okay.
11:46Just regular vanilla ice cream from McDonald's with chocolate.
11:50In Mexico, we also have McFruys, but we didn't get it this time.
11:54Here are all of the exclusive breakfast options we have in the US.
11:58We've got the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.
12:01I do want to taste the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit,
12:03because the biscuit actually looks pretty good to me.
12:06It looks nice and buttery.
12:09The biscuit is a little bit dry, but I think the flavor is actually really good.
12:13It tastes really, really buttery, which I love.
12:16And the rest is, you know, it's just fine.
12:18It's McDonald's breakfast, which is gonna hit for me every single time.
12:21It's good.
12:21In Mexico, you can find very good breakfast at McDonald's.
12:25Here we have some of the exclusive items you find in McDonald's, Mexico.
12:29We have the deluxe breakfast.
12:31We have the special breakfast.
12:33We have the Mexican burrito.
12:35It's a tortilla de harina.
12:37I don't know how you say that in English, but tortilla de harina in Mexico.
12:41It has eggs, tomatoes, and I guess this is sausage.
12:46For a fast breakfast, I think it will be good.
12:52In Mexico, we really like burritos.
12:53Like, for myself, I love burritos.
12:56I would say this tastes like a, maybe like American burrito.
13:00It doesn't feel like the real Mexican burritos,
13:02but for a quick breakfast, I think it will be okay.
13:05The egg McMuffin is a little bit different than the rest,
13:08because it's got this kind of egg and not that folded yellow egg thing
13:14that McDonald's puts on like all their breakfast sandwiches.
13:17And it's also got Canadian bacon, which is a little special.
13:21She stands out.
13:22Next, we have the sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin,
13:25a bacon, egg, and cheese McGriddle,
13:27a sausage McGriddle, which just has a sausage patty in it,
13:31sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle.
13:33The McGriddles are obviously special because of the M branding,
13:36those golden arches on there.
13:38And you can see all the syrup holes in here.
13:40This is just like one of the more genius things McDonald's has ever made,
13:44in my opinion.
13:45We have the Mexican McMuffin.
13:48Here we have the McMolletes.
13:50Molletes in Mexico are like super popular.
13:52This is like a super popular breakfast that you always get in home.
13:56It's pretty much bread, frijoles, which is beans, and cheese.
14:00Super easy, but super tasty as well.
14:03Let's try the McMolletes.
14:06I don't like the beans.
14:07I would say it's a little bit dry, honestly.
14:11Like, usually when you make it at home, it's always like super juicy.
14:15It's warm.
14:16But yeah, this one feels like they just make it like super fast.
14:20So yeah, it's not my favorite.
14:22We have the sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle.
14:25Here we have a biscuit with egg and cheese.
14:28And we also have the sausage breakfast burrito,
14:30which I'm definitely gonna try.
14:32But let's see what it looks like on the inside first.
14:34Oh boy, it's not good.
14:37It's like, it looks like Lunchables to me.
14:41It looks terrible, but I have a feeling that it's gonna taste really good.
14:45We also have a few little sauce packets that come with the breakfast burrito.
14:49There is a mild picante and hot picante.
14:53Let's try it with the hot.
14:54Oh, that was probably a lot.
14:58Okay.
15:01This is a very passable breakfast burrito for me.
15:05But with the sauce, I think it's really, really good.
15:08I would order this.
15:09I would definitely order this on my own.
15:11Then we have the big breakfast with hotcakes,
15:14the regular big breakfast,
15:15and the oatmeal with fruit, cranberries, and raisins.
15:19Here's what that looks.
15:20It's literally like solid in here.
15:21So the big breakfast with hotcakes obviously comes with hotcakes,
15:27and we have a hash brown, a sausage patty, a biscuit,
15:30and some of those little folded eggs I was talking about before.
15:34It also comes with the hotcake syrup.
15:41So this is the deluxe Mexican breakfast, and this is mac molletes.
15:45The deluxe Mexican breakfast also comes with scrambled eggs and sausage.
15:51The US also has the McCafe menu, which is McDonald's specialty coffee menu.
15:56We have a caramel macchiato, a cappuccino.
16:00I'm going to try the regular cappuccino,
16:02because I do wonder how McDonald's does their cappuccinos.
16:10Yeah, that's really good.
16:11I've had some coffees from McCafe before, but usually they're too sweet.
16:15This one has no sweetness in it whatsoever, so I really like it.
16:18We've got the caramel cappuccino, a vanilla cappuccino, a mocha,
16:23a regular latte, a caramel latte.
16:27I do want to try the caramel latte too.
16:29McDonald's usually overdoes it for me when it comes to the sweeteners in the coffee,
16:34or like the flavorings.
16:35Whatever they pump into these to make it taste like caramel, french vanilla, whatever.
16:40It smells really good.
16:41No, we're having a good coffee day.
16:47I feel like these are all pretty good.
16:48The sweetness is like just right.
16:50It tastes like caramel.
16:52It's still nice and warm.
16:53It's so good.
16:54And then we have a french vanilla latte.
16:57Now let's go through the exclusive iced coffees.
17:00We've got the iced latte.
17:02I'm making my choice right now.
17:03That's a little crazy, but I want to taste the iced latte.
17:06No, no.
17:13I didn't think this was going to have any sweetener,
17:15but it does taste like it has a lot of liquid sweet.
17:18I think it's at the bottom.
17:19I think maybe that's why.
17:21Let me mix it up a little.
17:22All I'm getting in my mouth right now is sweetener.
17:25It's better once you mix it around a little bit,
17:27but still surprisingly sweet for a regular latte.
17:30I'm shocked.
17:31We've got the caramel macchiato, the caramel latte,
17:35the french vanilla latte.
17:36Then we go into the iced coffees, which are different.
17:40This is the iced caramel coffee,
17:42the iced french vanilla coffee.
17:44I want to try this one.
17:45I love french vanilla or anything.
17:49It's okay.
17:49It tastes like watery coffee.
17:51I'm sure that if I had it immediately once it was delivered,
17:54I'd have a different opinion, but I taste the vanilla
17:57and the coffee part's nice.
17:59I do prefer the iced coffees over the lattes though.
18:02The sweetness levels are a lot more tame.
18:04This is the regular iced coffee.
18:06Then we have the iced mocha and two frappes.
18:09So we have the mocha and the caramel.
18:12Let's crack into this mocha frappe.
18:14It looks pretty good for being half melted.
18:17It still looks very delectable to me.
18:19It basically tastes like chocolate milk with ice in it
18:23and like extra, extra, extra sugar.
18:26It's time for sauce talk and we have many.
18:29In Mexico, we also have a lot of different sauce options.
18:32I'm going to show you some, or a lot.
18:34Sauce talk.
18:38So we have barbecue, sweet and sour, ketchup, mustard,
18:45mayonnaise, jalapeno, and barbecue.
18:50So let's go down the line.
18:51We have the tangy barbecue.
18:54I love the McDonald's barbecue sauce.
18:56I use this for my nuggets.
18:58This mixed with ketchup is also delish.
19:01Next, we have spicy buffalo.
19:03I feel like it's getting more and more common to see buffalo
19:05on menus here in America.
19:07That is orange.
19:12It smells spicy.
19:13It's actually a very good sauce and it's really spicy.
19:16Oh wait, I like this one.
19:17Next, we have ranch, a packet of honey,
19:21which I've never seen come in a packet like this.
19:24Like usually it's in one of those like little squeezy tube things.
19:29Next, we have sweet and sour.
19:31I don't think McDonald's has a good sweet and sour.
19:34That's just my favorite.
19:36We've got ketchup.
19:37I think the ketchups might be different,
19:40but they definitely have ketchup in Mexico.
19:42We also have mustard, which I love mustard on a burger.
19:47It just adds a whole nother level.
19:49And we also have hot mustard,
19:51which I have never tried this from McDonald's before.
19:55So let's see what it tastes like.
19:57That's what that looks like.
20:00To me, it tastes like Dijon mustard,
20:02but it's not Dijon mustard.
20:05It's hot mustard.
20:06And we also have a grape jam.
20:09I believe this is for the biscuits.
20:11You can add a little jam.
20:15All right, now let's check the nutritional foods
20:17available in both countries.
20:19A Big Mac in Mexico contains 540 calories.
20:23And in the US, a Big Mac contains 590 calories,
20:2734 grams of total fat, 46 grams total carbs,
20:30and 25 grams of protein.
20:32The US Big Mac beats Mexicos when it comes to calories and total fat,
20:36but it has fewer carbs and the same amount of protein.
20:39In Mexico, the medium fries contain 288 calories.
20:44And in the US, they contain 480 calories,
20:4723 grams of total fat, 65 grams total carbs,
20:50and 7 grams of protein.
20:52We're also interested to see the difference
20:54between the Coke in USA and Mexico.
20:56In Mexico, a large Coke contains 283 calories.
21:01And here, a large Coke contains 290 calories,
21:050 grams total fat, 77 grams total carbs,
21:08and 0 grams protein.
21:09I think overall, nutrition in the US and Mexico,
21:13isn't that different?
21:13If you got all three of these items as a meal,
21:16that would add up to 1,360 calories.
21:19In Mexico, the same meal will be 1,111 calories.
21:24In the US, a Big Mac costs $7.49, or 126 pesos and 55 cents.
21:33In Mexico, the Big Mac costs 105 pesos, which is $6.21.
21:38Add medium fries and a drink to your Big Mac,
21:42and that brings the price up to $12.29, or 207 pesos and 64 cents.
21:47In Mexico, a medium Big Mac meal costs 125 pesos,
21:51which is $7.40.
21:53Make that Big Mac meal a large,
21:55and the total comes out to $13.59, or 229 pesos and 61 cents.
22:01The large Big Mac meal costs 145 pesos, which is $8 with 58 cents.
22:11McDonald's is definitely the most popular fast food place in America.
22:15I feel very confident in saying that.
22:17Just because you can't drive maybe like a few minutes
22:20without coming across the golden arches, they're everywhere.
22:24I do think everyone in their lifetime here has probably tried it at least once.
22:29McDonald's basically created the idea of fast food that we know today,
22:34getting your food within minutes.
22:35It's hot and ready pretty quickly,
22:38and I feel like that's why they've been so iconic,
22:41besides the iconography of those golden arches,
22:44which I feel like you see them in pretty much any country,
22:47and you know what it is.
22:48In Mexico, McDonald's is super popular.
22:50I feel like every time you drive in the city,
22:52you will find a McDonald's in the corner.
22:54Everybody knows McDonald's.
22:56Every time that you go to party,
22:57and then you're hungry in the middle of the night,
22:59you go and get McDonald's.
23:01Back when McDonald's first became a thing,
23:03grab-and-go food wasn't the norm,
23:06but they definitely took the idea and made it so commonplace.
23:10In Mexico, some of the most popular items are the McFlurry.
23:14Everybody loves the McFlurry.
23:16I would say the Big Mac.
23:17Everybody tried the Big Mac at least once.
23:20And I would say the McNuggets.
23:22It's super easy to eat and very tasty.
23:25What isn't McDonald's known for?
23:27We've got the Big Macs, we've got the Happy Meals,
23:29the French fries, and there's also the Cokes,
23:33which are my personal favorite thing.
23:35Sometimes I just go by a McDonald's and I'm like,
23:37I'm gonna stop and just get a soda,
23:39because their fountain soda is excellent.
23:41McDonald's Cokes are so special,
23:43because they have their own unique delivery process,
23:45which just makes for a really delicious fizzy Coke.
23:49McDonald's is also obviously known for the broken ice cream machine.
23:52If you do manage to get the ice cream though, it's always really good.
23:55Whether you get it with caramel, the chocolate sauce,
23:57or on that little cone, it's excellent.
23:59I will say that I don't think McDonald's adapts to local flavors.
24:03Like, we don't have anything New York specific to try today,
24:07but it does adapt to local flavors on a global scale.
24:11I feel like actually McDonald's has been trying to adapt to the Mexican flavor,
24:15adding all the, for example, the molletes or the sauces.
24:18But still, I feel like it's not getting close at all.
24:21I feel like it feels plastic still.
24:24It's still good, but it feels like very American USA flavors.
24:27McDonald's, it's good.
24:29If you haven't had it, go get some,
24:32because it's probably really close to you.
