00:00And we have some news just coming in.
00:02The NIA DG is present in Srinagar.
00:05Today is NIA DG's second day in Kashmir.
00:08He's holding a review meeting with those officers who are involved in the investigation of the Pehalgaam attack.
00:15Yesterday, the DG was present in Pehalgaam's Barsan Valley for three hours.
00:19The DG himself reached Barsan Valley and investigated and looked into the details of this case.
00:26The DG himself looking at this matter.
00:28These are details that we have with us about the NIA DG, the top boss of the National Investigation Agency.
00:36Holding a review meeting is what we know.
00:43I'm going straight across to Arvind Hoja for more details on that story.
00:46Arvind, this time NIA DG himself is reviewing the situation itself.
00:51What details can you share?
00:53This is the second day of the probe.
00:54Arvind, this is the second day of the NIA DG.
00:55Arvind, this is the second day of the NIA DG.
00:58Absolutely, and it matters quite a matter, this is so sensitive and important case, this is so important, it can be possible that the NIA's DG were here, they were here in Bersan Ghati, where there was a terror attack on Bersan Ghati, where there was a terror attack on 22 April,
01:17and the NIA's DG was here, for 3 hours they saw the entire area, and the NIA's DG was there, and the officers were there, and the officers were there, and the terrorists were there, and the terrorists were there,
01:33and the team remained in 3 hours, and the time they left it, and the other people were there, and the other people were there, and the in the morning, the NIA's DG, and the deputy SP,
01:50were there, and the members of the NIA's DG, and the first member of Bersan Ghati, who are actually discussing the Bersan Ghati, and the details about the death of the NIA,
02:00because this investigation has more than other agencies.
02:05So, coordinate the case,
02:09the terrorists who have attacked them,
02:12how to reach them and how to reach them.
02:17We also coordinate the other agencies.
02:20But today is the second day.
02:23The second day is the second day in Kashmir.
02:26And the investigation has taken their command.
02:31Arvind getting into the details,
02:34telling our viewers about the probe by the NIA,
02:36which has only intensified in the Pahlgahm terror attack case.
02:4011 days after the attack that killed 26 stories,
02:44the perpetrators remain untraced.
02:46In spite of continuous operations by security forces
02:49in dense forests and various locations,
02:51they are still at large.
02:53NIA has zeroed in on more than 20 overground workers
02:56who are suspected to have helped terrorists.
02:58As per sources,
02:59NIA suspects that the group of terrorists
03:02who attacked the Army, Convoy and Rajawdi Poonch in 2023
03:05and the one who attacked in the Baisaran Valley of Pahlgahm
03:08could be connected.
03:10They could have originated from the same LET group of POK.
03:14Sources say NIA are going to be probing LETs
03:17Nisar Ahmed and Mustaak Hussain.
03:20Ahmed Mustaak are believed to have helped LET terrorists.
03:23Also that attackers could be involved in Army Convoy attack
03:26in Rajawdi in 2023
03:28and that Pahlgahm attackers may have originated from POK.
03:32Sources reveal the raids of terrorists in Kotbawal
03:34have been interrogated.
03:36This is the jail there.
03:38NIA also collecting information on phones active
03:40in 20-kilometer radius on the 20th of April.
03:44Arvind continues to be with us.
03:47Arvind, this is not one thing,
03:48many of the people of interest are emerging
03:52who are with LET.
03:53Ahmed and Mustaak are two of these people
03:56who say that they are helping LET.
04:00Who are these people?
04:01We have more details about them.
04:03Look at the focus.
04:05Look at the focus.
04:06There are three terrorists who have
04:10shot bullets on April 22.
04:12This is clear.
04:13And three are Pakistanis.
04:15But the agencies,
04:16they believe that
04:18in Pahlgahm,
04:20which are located on the ground,
04:22if there are terrorists,
04:23there are other terrorists
04:24who have helped them
04:25as well as the overground workers.
04:27They have helped them.
04:28OGW Laskar,
04:29which is located in the village,
04:30they have helped them.
04:32After that,
04:33there are many names.
04:35And the overground workers
04:37are not only one of them
04:39who have helped them.
04:40There are many of them.
04:41This is why,
04:42particularly,
04:43in the South Kashmir,
04:45the OGW active,
04:47the details are being removed.
04:50And this is also the case
04:52that the OGW
04:53has already helped many terrorists
04:55who have been attacked in Jammu Kashmir.
04:57They have helped them.
04:59So,
05:00on one side,
05:01the agencies,
05:02the terrorists
05:04who have attacked them,
05:05they are not able to do it.
05:06But the other team,
05:07now,
05:08the OGW,
05:10who are active,
05:11the overground workers,
05:12who are helping them,
05:14now,
05:15now,
05:17one of them,
05:18the NIA
05:19and other agencies,
05:20the OGWs,
05:21some terrorists,
05:22their home,
05:23the IED,
05:24now,
05:25the overground workers,
05:26their property,
05:27will be attached.
05:29Because,
05:30the investigation,
05:31the overground workers,
05:33the overground workers,
05:34will be able to help them.
05:35Then,
05:36they have helped them,
05:37the other park,
05:38and then,
05:39the attack.
05:40attack.
05:41And,
05:42the other thing,
05:43what link is represented,
05:44told me,
05:45the other way,
05:46the link here,
05:47particularly,
05:48the other major attack,
05:49army conquer attack,
05:50which is involved.
05:51What link is provided?

09:49cases, the police really not taking any kind of alert lightly. Especially the police is taking
09:55action on every alert related to terrorists and any possible terror activity. Patrolling by senior
10:02officers is underway. Senior officers of the district are themselves monitoring the deployment
10:07at the field level, interacting with ACPs, SHOs, taking stock of the police station level.
10:14The police officers are trying to ensure that the police presence is clearly visible in as
10:18many places as possible so that people feel safe.
10:27Himanshu Mishra has more on that. Himanshu Pahlgaam ke terror attack ke chalte,
10:32Delhi jaysse shahir mein high alert already tha. Lekin is some mein specific intelligence
10:37a raha hai ki yaha par bhi koi disturbances ki possibility hai. Khas karke crowded areas

12:13Manchu getting in those details as far as Delhi is concerned and the security alert in Delhi
12:21city is concerned. This has got to do with the in the context rather of the Pahalgaam terror
12:26attack that took place 11 days ago. Security in crowded places in Delhi has been beefed up
12:32is what Himanshu is telling us at this point in time. Delhi police on alert after the Pahalgaam
12:38attack. These are details that we have with us as far as the security in Delhi is concerned.
12:43Now in the wake of the deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgaam that killed 26 civilians,
12:49Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a stern warning to terrorists and their backers,
12:54declaring that those responsible should not mistake the attack for a victory,
12:58asserting that India will hunt down each and every one of them. Calling the 22nd of April assault
13:04one of the worst since 2019 Pahalama attack, Amit Shah refirmed the Modi government's unwavering
13:10commitment to uproot terrorism from Indian soil, retrading India's result to eliminate
13:15every terrorist, sending a clear and direct message to Pakistan and cross-border terror networks as well.
13:24India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers. India's spirit will never
13:40be broken by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done.

14:33Aishwarya continues to be with us. Aishwarya, it's very clear that this government has all its options really open, but the recent statements also by the Home Minister speak volumes of how, you know, retribution and bringing justice to the victims really is on top of their priority list.
14:52You know, talk to us about what is expected as far as today is concerned, as far as the next few days are concerned, looking at the investigations and how India is going to get back.
15:02Well, one thing is very, very clear, Sneha. We have heard, you know, not just the Prime Minister, but even the Home Minister also speaking about the fact that the government is ready.
15:11This is something that the government will not let go because this is an attack on the entire country, you know.
15:16These were not people who were out there on the borders. These were people who were out there with their families.
15:20And the very fact that one of the terrorists said that you need to go and tell your Prime Minister what happened there is something of a challenge that has now been given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to India as a whole.
15:32The process has already begun, Sneha. That's what we are understanding at the moment.
15:35The isolation process of Pakistan is happening on one side. On the other side, we are seeing how military drills are also taking place.
15:41But there will be a surprise element, Sneha. Let me tell you that, you know, we all are anticipating and that is exactly what even Pakistan is doing.
15:48Pakistan at the moment is just turning back and seeing that, you know, the attack can happen from everywhere.
15:54The retribution will be swift. It will be damaging and the world will sit up and take notice.
15:58And it will happen, Sneha, when no one expects it. That's something that we can understand from the government sources at the moment.
16:04Aishwarya getting in those details at this point in time with India sending out that message, essentially, that those behind the Pahalgam terror attack will be avenged is what Aishwarya is telling us.
16:14That's the message from the Prime Minister. And also, as always, we've heard from the Prime Minister in the last few days as well.
16:20As India weighs its next move, its options really, and Pakistan watches on nervously, a former Pakistani army officer has dropped a bombshell.
16:31In an explosive interview with India Today, Major Adil Raja alleged that the Pahalgam attack was orchestrated on the direct orders, he says, of Pakistan's army chief, General Asi Munir.
16:43According to Raja, General Munir's motives run deep is driven by ambitions to consolidate power and extend his control over the Pakistan army for the next decade.
16:53But here's what it gets, why it gets even more damning.
16:56Raja claims General Munir acted with China's approval and went ahead against the wishes of the ISI, exposing a growing power rift freely between Pakistan's top spy agency and its military leadership.
17:07Raja also describes a deepening divide between the ISI and the army to institutions once thought to be inseparable.
17:15Raja claims the bond seems to be cracking now.
17:25Are there telltale signs of Pakistani establishment's involvement in this attack or not?
17:31I would stand by my information, which has been provided to me by my sources in the Pakistani intelligence community,
17:39who claim that the Pahalgam terror attack was orchestrated, ordered by the Pakistani army chief, General Asim Munir, for his own personal interest.
17:51That is what I still, you know, I still say the same thing, but there are many other factors behind it.
17:59What are his personal interests that those needs to be addressed?
18:03And then, you know, there are there is a there is a philosophy behind it that needs to be discussed in detail.
18:10But yes, I stand by my information that it was a personal venture, irrespective of the ISI officers telling General Asim Munir not to go ahead with it because of the repercussions.
18:23He still went ahead with it after, you know, following the very old philosophy, I would say, which our army officers love, you know, talking about a philosophy of a thousand cuts, you know.
18:38And it has been replied by Dr. Amarjit Singh in 2014 by Indian Defense General.
18:45But well, we will discuss it if you'll allow me later.
18:48But yes, it was a personal venture of General Asim Munir.
18:52Yeah.
18:53Geeta Foreign Affairs editor is now joining in.
18:56Geeta, big revelations that are being made by the former Pakistan army official talking about Pahalgam and how it was orchestrated by the army chief, Asim Munir.
19:05What are the ramifications of this statement that have been made, Geeta?
19:10Well, Pakistan will continue to remain in denial.
19:13The fact that Pakistan says it was not involved at all and has sought a probe into this entire Pahalgam terror attack.
19:20But the fact of the matter is that this is a man who is a third generation military officer in from Pakistan.
19:28He's living in exile in London because he spoke truth to power and he's speaking truth to power yet again, talking about and exposing how Asim Munir, in order to continue remaining in power, in office and in control,
19:43has been doing things that are not just detrimental to Pakistan and Pakistan interests, but also only furthering his own.
19:49He's very specifically said that all this was not just a terror outfit carrying out an anti-India operation, that it was Asim Munir who orchestrated this entire operation.
20:04And that's a major, major revelation where he's talking not just about Asim Munir, but also the powers that stand behind Asim Munir and that is China.
20:13And why it is important to keep India-Pakistan hot right now when there's a tariff war happening between China and the United States of America.
20:22So, huge revelations there, giving out details and talking about a military officer who's been a part of the entire establishment,
20:31talking about how Pakistan and Asim Munir, wanting to be the next Ziaul Haq, is using terrorism as an instrument of state policy.
20:39Geetha, getting us up to speed with those details, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment, Geetha.
20:44Tensions, meanwhile, between India and Pakistan continue to soar after the Pahlgham terror attack.
20:49Pakistan has temporarily closed parts of the airspace over Karachi and Lahore, after India shut its airspace for Pakistani aircrafts.
20:57Islamabad is now forced to reroute six weekly flights.
21:01Take a look at how the airspace war is financially draining out Pakistan.
21:09Even as tensions between India and Pakistan soar, the skies above Islamabad remain strangely quiet.
21:18In a retaliatory move following the deadly terror attack in Pahlgham, India has shut its airspace to Pakistani aircraft.
21:27The move comes after Islamabad imposed a similar ban on Indian carriers.
21:32But here is the twist. Pakistan will be feeling the sting even more.
21:36Pakistan International Airlines has been forced to reroute six weekly flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Kuala Lumpur
21:46and is now flying a much longer, costlier route via China.
21:52Avoiding Indian skies means detouring around the Tibetan plateau, adding nearly three hours of flying time.
21:59Longer routes mean more fuel and an increase in travel time by two hours.
22:08The route change can also cause flight delays, thereby leading to reduced frequency of Pakistan flights.
22:15High operation costs and more fuel demand will lead to massive surge in ticket prices for Pakistan.
22:21But that is not all. Pakistan's own airspace ban on Indian Airlines is backfiring.
22:31Overflight fees are a crucial revenue stream.
22:34And Islamabad is losing around $232,000 every single day.
22:39In fact, a loss of over $50 million is projected.
22:42Remember, a similar closure in 2019 after the Pulwama attack cost Pakistan nearly $100 million,
22:53with daily deficits hitting $760,000.
22:58So while Pakistan hoped to make a political point by closing its skies,
23:03it may have grounded its own economic interest instead.
23:06And the world, remember, is uniting in condemnation of the recent terror attack in Pahal Gham.
23:20U.S. has urged India and Pakistan to de-escalate the tensions.
23:24U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance says they are in close contact with both the countries,
23:28also urged finding common ground for peace and harmony.
23:30He said Pakistan must cooperate with India, and India must respond calmly.
23:35Meanwhile, Defense Secretary has held talks with Arak Shamanthri Rajnath Singh,
23:41reaffirming Washington's full support for India's fight against terrorism,
23:44and backed India's right to defend itself.
23:47Dried from U.S. President Donald Trump condemning the recent terror attack,
23:50Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged Pakistan to denounce the attack,
23:55fully cooperate with the investigation.
23:57While Pakistan continues to make hollow claims on cracking down of terror,
24:01only a handful of nations stand by it.
24:03India, in contrast, is the backing of major global powers united in its call to end cross-border
24:09terrorism once and for all.
24:11Sure. I'm worried about any time you see a hot spot breaking out, especially between two nuclear
24:17powers. We've obviously been in close contact with our friends in India and Pakistan.
24:22Our hope here is that India responds to this terrorist attack in a way that doesn't lead to
24:29a broader regional conflict. And we hope, frankly, that Pakistan, to the extent that they're responsible,
24:34cooperates with India to make sure that the terrorists, sometimes operating in their territory,
24:40are hunted down and dealt with. That's how we hope this unfolds. We're obviously in close
24:44contact. We'll see what happens.
24:46World leaders are calling on India and, of course, Pakistan as well, to de-escalate tensions.
24:52There are interests involved, stakeholders who do not want to see escalation in the South Asian region
24:59because it harms their interests, be it America that is at war with China or China that has interests
25:04within Pakistan, stakes within Pakistan. But the fact of the matter is that India's message and signal
25:10is very clear to the world, particularly to the West and to the United States of America,
25:15that this attack on India, on Indian soil, is not going to go unnoticed, unspaired, and India will
25:27not take this lying down. There's a very clear message that Pakistan and those who have backed
25:32these terrorists will have to pay a very, very heavy price for the lives lost in Pahlkam. And that's
25:39the message that India sent across to the United States of America. Therefore, while they saw de-escalation,
25:45they also went ahead as allies and strategic partners and have said that they will support India
25:50in whatever decision India takes. The two important calls that took place between Defense Secretary Hegseth
25:57and his counterpart, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and then yesterday, another call between Secretary of State
26:04Mark Rubio and External Affairs Minister Jay Shankar. But the message from India is very clear that this time
26:10around, instead of asking India to de-escalate tensions, it is time that Pakistan is reined in.
26:17All right, news is coming in. The Delhi Chief Minister is visiting waterlogged streets in the national capital.
26:22Rekha Gupta takes talk. She is in Delhi's Majnuka Teela, which always is very prone to flooding during rains of this
26:30kind. Rain-causing jams and waterlogging in several parts of the national capital. The Delhi Chief Minister is
26:36there taking stock of the situation, inspecting the waterlogged roads at Delhi's Majnuka Teela at this
26:42point in time. Pictures are from Majnuka Teela in Delhi, where this waterlogging has taken place, and
26:48that's where the Chief Minister is. You can see her on your screens, examining or looking at the situation there.
26:57Delhi Chief Minister, they are taking stock of the situation. Rains in the national capital, and as a result,
27:02there's been waterlogging in several parts of Delhi, causing great amount of inconvenience to regular
27:07commuters there. Trees have fallen, and there are traffic jams. Waterlogging that you can see
27:13on your screens at this point in time. Take a look at what the Chief Minister said just a while ago.
27:18Thank you very much.
27:25Drain, thunderstorms, lush Delhi NCR, a red alert has been issued amid massive waterlogging,
27:31waterlogging and waterlogging.
27:32Drain, thunderstorms, lush Delhi NCR, a red alert has been issued amid massive waterlogging
27:39The Chief Minister is there taking stock of the situation, talking about the kind of work that the previous
27:46government had done, which has led them to the situation where the waterlogging continues.
27:52Majnuka Teela is where the Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is at this point in time.
27:59Remember, we woke up to heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and waterlogging has been seen in several parts of the city, of Delhi city.
28:07The downpour has brought much needed relief, but take a look at the pictures coming in of devastation and also of waterlogging that has been seen.
28:30The Delhi Chief Minister is in fact taking stock. Amit is with us for the very latest on that.
28:37Amit, the Delhi Chief Minister is taking stock of the situation in the worst hit areas.
28:41She has also said that part of the problem is that the Delhi government led by the previous Amadmi Party did not do much to improve this
28:49and that she is going to work in this direction. What's the plan? Talk to us about that.
28:54I am standing right at the spot where Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is and where she was actually describing as to what is the situation in the national capital right now.
29:09So instead of dodging or denying the fact that Delhiwalas are going through a trouble, she did acknowledge the fact that thousands of people are on the roads of the national capital
29:19who are stuck in traffic jam, heavy traffic jam caused by the waterlogging situation in different parts of the national capital.
29:26She did mention the fact that this is happening because of the misgovernance of the previous Amadmi Party government or the erstwhile Amadmi Party government.
29:35And now her government is working in tandem with different agencies in coordination of different agencies in order to control the situation.
29:45And we have also seen as to how different ministers or departments of the Delhi government are on their toes since this morning when we saw heavy downpour in the national capital.
29:56This is Saheb Singh Verma Delhi Minister was himself on the streets.
30:01Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta while coming to this particular spot, Sevanagar, where she is to flag off electric vehicles for the Delhiwalas.
30:11That's where she said that on the way to this particular spot, she has taken stock of the situation also coordinated with different agencies and each of them have been asked to, you know, work around the clock in order to control the situation.
30:25But there's also a question marks, Neha, certainly that in the month of March, it is the time when Delhi prepares itself for the monsoon and the desilting activity begins from month of March itself.
30:37So if you have, you know, this early rains happening in national capital, is it not a question mark on the preparations that were being done so far by different agencies, including PWD and the MCD and other agencies who are responsible for maintenance of the seedage across the national capital.
30:58So it's also sort of a wake-up call for those agencies, but certainly Rekha Gupta saying that her government is trying to fix the entire system. Back to you.
31:08So you did mention that, but take us through the details of, you know, what really is the situation like as of now, this of course is Majnuka Teela, but water logging and inconvenience has been reported from various parts of Delhi.
31:21So give us an overview of the situation, Amit.
31:28Right, Sneha.
31:29You know, beginning with Minto Bridge, it has become an annual affair that the moment you have heavy danpour in the national capital, the first area which will be affected by water logging will be Minto Bridge.
31:41And this is, it was no exception this morning as well. By 7 in the morning, you had vehicles getting stuck in the, in, right in the heart of the national capital, right next to the Connaught Place, Minto Bridge area.
31:54But the only difference this time around we saw was the agencies had started to respond. However, it was also a fact that Rekha Gupta's visit to that particular spot was also announced that she is expected to go there by 8.30 and by 8 in the morning itself, the water logging situation at Minto Bridge was dealt with.
32:12At ITO, the sewer water was actually overflowing and it had submerged several parts of the lane, which is the main connection lane of the main, you know, Lutyens, Delhi and the east, eastern parts of the national capital.
32:27So that area, you had a slow traffic moving because of the water logging situation or the roads being submerged by the sewage water.
32:34In Khan market area, you had pre-filling instances at Barakamba road because of the Kuski winds, a tree had fallen in the sub lane of Barakamba, which had blocked that particular sub lane as well.
32:46Similar visuals are also coming from areas nearby Dholakuan. We know for a matter of fact that on working days, it's usually heavy traffic area
32:55because people from Delhi lived towards Gurgaon for work and those living in Gurgaon also come towards Delhi for their work.
33:02And because of the heavy downpour, you had, you know, half of the lane or half of the road in these areas also getting submerged because of the heavy water on the roads, which eventually led to slowing down of the traffic.
33:17But certainly there are claims by the Delhi government that different agencies, be it the PWD or the MCD or other departments who are responsible for maintenance of the civil lines in the national capital.
33:31They are working in tandem in order to control the situation.
33:34But certainly this morning when Delhi Wallas woke up, they woke up to heavy downpour of water, gusty winds.
33:41It might have been a sigh of relief for them from the temperature, that rising temperature that we have been witnessing in Delhi,
33:49especially the fact that April this time around was one of the hottest Aprils in the recent time.
33:54That's right.
33:55The projections are forecast for May as well, that May is going to be extremely hot.
33:59So it was a respite from that heat, but certainly also trouble when they were heading towards their workplaces.
34:06Undoubtedly.
34:07Undoubtedly.
34:08Amit, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
34:09The Chief Minister is taking stock of the situation in Delhi, but questions, of course, being raised about why this could not be anticipated
34:15and also whether the desilting work that is usually done during the month of March in preparedness for the upcoming rains,
34:23was that not done is the big question here.
34:34This is the inside scoop on the caste census.
34:37Sources indicate that caste are Muslims to be recorded.
34:41Along with religion, caste column is going to be included.
34:44Census work will start in the next two to three months.
34:47Process to appoint officers to begin soon.
34:53Himanshu Mishra has got more details.
34:55Himanshu, what details can you share with us with us?
34:58This process will start to appoint officers to appoint officers.
35:03How much time will this entire process?
35:06And the Muslim society, which is the caste caste here, will be recorded in different ways.
35:13What will it be different?
35:15What can you tell us?
35:16Is ╤В╨╛╤В a tax caste caste, which should have called the caste caste, which should have called the caste caste,
35:25which should have written on the impact of the religion.
35:27If Muslim society has written in a form,
35:30then the caste caste will be written.
35:32The caste caste, which should have been created,
35:35the caste caste, the caste caste, etc.
35:37I will not tell any of that, because there is a new data for the government,
35:42which can be told about the OBCs, the upper caste, the SESC.
35:49This is a new data that the government wants.
35:52This is why the Caste Census will be with this.
35:55The government believes that the Caste Census should be with this.
35:58The Caste should be with the government.
36:01The government has approved this.
36:03The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs.
36:06Now, in every region, there will be a new doctor for the government.
36:12The officers will be appointed.
36:16After that, the process will be completed.
36:19It means that in 2026, the Census will be completed.
36:24In 15 days, the Census will be completed.
36:28But the big thing is that we will try to digitize it.
36:31It means that the AI will be completed.
36:34And it will not be completed.
36:37It will be completed and complete those.
36:40And the other thing that will be completed.
36:41With this, the Census will be completed.
36:44The Delimitation process will be completed.
36:46I think it will start with the delimitation, the number of seats will be brought to the government.
36:53Because the 33% will be given to the government.
36:57And the government's opinion is that when there is a new delimitation,
37:02the government and the government will be increased,
37:08and the government will be kept.
37:11When the last census will be completed,
37:16then whether or not there will not be a division.
37:21If they want to be delimitation,
37:25then there will be OBC's reservation.
37:27The other side of the South, the parties will want to be delimitation for the next 20-25 years.
37:36And if they want to be completed, then there will be a new formula,
37:41which will be applied to the population and the geography.
37:45The government will be applied to the south.
37:48The government will be applied to the government's formula.
37:52And all of the parties will do,
37:57which is given to the government's recommendation that the government'sfare will be counted.
38:01For the private sector's part,
38:03is that the government will not be included in the reservation.
38:06But for all of these parties,
38:09the government will not be directed in the election,
38:11but since the government doesn't inform that it will be given to therahams.
38:14It will be a delimitation for the people's seats and the delimitation for the people's seats are 33%.
38:23So, the cast census and the delimitation is very important.
38:28The government has a lot to think about it.
38:32In the case of the government, the government will work on it and when the census will be completed, the government will work on it and when the census is completed and the data will be completed,
38:54The report is, the government can be enrolled for the provision for all the OBCs.
39:01Thank you for joining us.
39:06Himanshu Bisra getting us up to speed with those details and telling us a little more
39:10about the CAR census which is going to be done along with the national, the regular census
39:14that is done. The CAR census this time is new and the details in the contours of which
39:20is what was being spelt out there by Himanshu.
39:23We are shifting focus now.
39:25Let's tell you a little about this horrific murder that has taken place in Mangaluru and
39:29the situation there in Karnataka as Mangaluru continues to be tense.
39:33This is after a rowdy sheeter and former Bajrang the leader was hacked to dead by a group of
39:37assailants. The act was caught on camera. The murder of the rowdy sheeter is said to be linked
39:42to BJP Yuva Mocha member Praveen Nitaru murder case.
39:45Swash Shetty, a rowdy sheeter and alleged accused in the murder of Fasil in Suratkal in 2022 was brutally
39:55held to dead on the fair first of May. This on the outskirts of Mangaluru. This incident had been captured on camera.
40:03Around five to six assailants can be seen attacking Swash Shetty with deadly weapons causing grievous injuries.
40:09Following this murder the situation is tense with Hindu outfits calling for a massive protest in Mangaluru.
40:15Stones were pelted at private buses. Swash Shetty was accused of killing one Muhammad Fasil at Suratkal near Mangaluru in 2022.
40:24Muhammad Fasil was allegedly murdered in revenge against the murder of Praveen Nitaru.
40:29Praveen Nitaru was a BJP.
40:31Yuva Mocha member was killed in July 2022 allegedly by carders of the band PFI.
40:37NIA was probing this case.
40:41In fact, in this case, there is not a single person who is innocent.
40:45In fact, Swash Shetty, who was murdered yesterday, also had five pending cases against him.
40:50In fact, he also had several attempt to murder cases also against him.
40:55One, he was the A1 in Fasil's murder case.
40:58And number two, he was also the accused in the murder of a 20-year-old girl called Kirti that happened in Bajpe.
41:05So, Suhas Shetty is no innocent as well.
41:08Yes, this is killing after killing after killing that has happened.
41:12And it does have shades of undertone.
41:14But Suhas Shetty also had cases registered against him.
41:18In fact, few weeks back, cops had also warned him that there could be a life threat for him.
41:23Despite that, he was here wandering off with four other friends of his.
41:27And that's where this very gruesome incident has happened.
41:30We're also hearing that the other vehicle that intercepted Suhas Shetty's vehicle had brought in mashets and weapons.
41:36And then they subsequently hacked him to death.
41:38In fact, this exact spot over here had some bloodstains lying around.
41:42And this patch is the spot where Suhas Shetty was murdered.
41:46In fact, Home Minister Dr. J. Parameshwar has also stated that four special teams have been deployed to apprehend the accused who killed Suhas Shetty.
41:55Yesterday, late evening, there was a murder of one Suhas Shetty.
42:02After that, things have a little bit tense in this city.
42:06We have made suitable bandabas.
42:08Post-mortem is going on.
42:09After that, cremation arrangements will be done at Vatwada.
42:15So, we request all the citizens of Mangalur to maintain peace and cooperate with the police department.
42:22We have identified the accused.
42:25So, our teams are on to search for them.
42:28Very soon, we will give the good results.
42:30Around 8.30, 8.40, a road shooter of this area, Suhas Shetty, who was earlier accused number one of a Vasil murder,
42:41which took place in the year 2022, was intercepted by two vehicles.
42:46One was a pickup vehicle and one was a Maruti shift.
42:49So, in order to save himself, he tried to run and abscond from the scene.
42:54However, the around five to six people in the Maruti shift, they chased him and then they attacked him with the weapons and deadly weapons.
43:03And after that, he was brought to the hospital where he was, despite the treatment, he could not be survived.
43:10And subsequently, we have taken the murder case in this regard and the teams are working.
43:14We have set up four different teams to catch these culprits.
43:20We are going to bring them to books.
43:23We will not have any compromise on this.
43:26Because it is unfortunate, in Dakshina Kannada, we tried to bring in a lot of peace and harmony.
43:35And incidents like this should not deter those peace and harmony.
43:41That is why, you know, we have taken it very seriously.
43:44Additional forces also have been sent so that the peace and harmony is maintained.
43:49We will not spare anybody.
43:51We will catch them, bring them to books.
43:54Say it is a failure of law and order situation in the Karnataka.
43:58The government has gone ahead and given indirect support to the rowdy elements, anti-social elements, jihadi elements in the state.
44:07And because of this indirect support, all these rowdy elements are doing whatever they want to do.
44:13The police are very busy taking care of their own transfers and all those things.
44:18The government is busy transferring them, suspending them if they don't come in line.
44:25And there is a lot of politically based cases.
44:32They are more interested in putting BJP Karakartas inside than seeing what is right and what is wrong.
44:38Because of all those things, this is happening.
44:40Well, this is a very, very murky murder web.
44:44Suha Shetty, the rowdy cheater, now dead, was an accused in the 2022 Faisal murder case.
44:51That's the man, Suha Shetty.
44:54Mohamed Faisal was killed in the year 2022 in revenge against Praveen Nitaru's murder.
45:01That's what had happened in 2022.
45:03Faisal's murder case is from 2022 where six accused were arrested.
45:08Praveen Nitaru was a BJP Yuva Mocha member who was killed in 2022.
45:15The NIA is looking at this matter.
45:18Other six accused in connection with the Praveen Nitaru murder case stand arrested as of today.
45:25Anaga continues to be with us.
45:27Anaga, from what we can tell our viewers from this chart also clearly, that this is a web.
45:32And what it really looks like at this point in time now, Anaga, is that this seems to be some sort of a revenge killing that is happening.
45:39Because a connection I think the authorities have drawn, isn't it?
45:46Well, right, Sneha.
45:47In fact, if we do connect the dots, it is first Praveen Nitaru who was murdered.
45:51Then subsequently, two days later, Faisal was murdered.
45:54And now, Suhas Shetty, who was responsible for Faisal's murder, has been killed.
45:59So, this is murder after murder after murder.
46:01It really looks like a case of revenge killing.
46:04However, the police have stated that until the investigation is done and the motive behind the killing has been ascertained,
46:10we can't really pin it on revenge killing.
46:13In fact, ministers from Congress government have also responded to this by saying that the motive seems to be to disturb the peace in the coastal area of Mangalore.
46:23They have also called this as a personal old enmity between Suhas Shetty and the ones who murdered him.
46:30Investigation is underway.
46:31In fact, Karnataka government has deployed four special police forces to apprehend the accused who killed Suhas Shetty.
46:40They have clearly stated that there is no question of letting go of the accused, no matter who they are, what they are.
46:46Also, to note that Suhas Shetty has pending cases against him.
46:50He is the A1 accused in the murder of Faisal.
46:54He was also responsible for the killing of 20-year-old Kirti in Bajpa, in Mangaluru.
47:00He is also charged with attempt to murder cases.
47:03The Karnataka government says that come what may, the accused who are responsible for Suhas's murder will be apprehended.
47:10In fact, they are also saying that they do have some clues.
47:13Based on that, they will start their hunt and nap the accused as quick as possible.
47:18Right. Anaga getting us those details.
47:20I am going to leave it at that for the moment.
47:21Thanking you for that.
47:22Murky murder web is what Anaga is telling us about.
47:26Mangaluru, meanwhile, continues to be tense, is what she is telling us.
47:33More news coming in.
47:38Nepal has launched a diplomatic initiative to probe the death of an 18-year-old student from the Himalayan nation
