00:05ang Women's Mojarlika Pilipinas Basketball League o WMPBL,

00:10ano pa kaya ang mga aabangan sa susunod na season ng liga?

00:14Alamin natin sa report to teammate Jomayka Vajaca.

00:18Kahit katatapos pa lang ng Women's Mojarlika Pilipinas Basketball League o WMPBL,

00:24marami ng plano ang isasagawa sa susunod na season ng liga.

00:27Kasabay ng pagtatapos ang inaugural season nito noong nakaraang linggo,

00:32isang surpresa nang i-anunsyo ng WMPBL na mula sa pagiging Invitational Tournament magiging isang professional league na ito.

00:39Kaya naman ibilhagi ni Heidi Ong, WMPBL Commissioner,

00:43ang mga pagbabagong aabangan ng mga basketball players at fans.

00:47Definitely wala ng collegiate teams kasi hindi na pwede.

00:51So it's going to be a mixture of club teams and LGU helping out yung mga private sector.

00:58So more or less pareho ng MPBL, but we will treat yung mga ibang requirements

01:03because syempre iba yung women's, iba yung men's.

01:06So meron kaming mga guidelines coming out for the WMPBL.

01:11Dagdag pa ni Ong, susuriin nilang maigi ang mga bagong ko pa na nasasali,

01:15pero priority pa rin nila ang mga dating teams na naglaro noong nakaraang season.

01:20Pusyon natin yung quality yung mga teams na papasok.

01:23At the same time, we will screen yung mga team owners of course.

01:27Ang priority namin is the teams that joined the inaugural.

01:31We have given them the priority if they wanted to join or not.

01:35And then we'll open up to other LGUs and private clubs.

01:40Ibilhagi rin ni Commissioner Heidi ang iba pang mga plano at guidelines na kanilang binabantayan.

01:45We will come up with a better system syempre.

01:48And of course, yung mga house rules dun sa mga players' contract.

01:53Importante ngayon dahil we'll be going pro.

01:56We want to protect also the welfare of the women's ballers at the same time yung interest ng team owners.

02:03Sa ngayon, niluluto pa ang mga magiging bagong format ng Liga.

02:07Para sa susunod na edisyon nito, nagaganapin sa Hunyo.

02:10Jamay Cabayaka para sa Atletang Pilipino.

02:14Para sa bagong Pilipinas.
