00:00The Transportation Department promised that in addition to the strike,

00:04the security personnel of the Mino-Yaquino International Airport

00:08will also face an administrative case that is being held in Tanimbala.

00:17The Department of Transportation has already struck the three security personnel

00:21of the Office of Transportation Securities at IA Terminal 3,

00:24in accordance with a viral social media post

00:26where the security personnel of the 69-year-old woman

00:31and her family were arrested for the physical inspection of the bullet on March 6.

00:36They accused the woman who carried the bullet to the airport.

00:53We will not tolerate this sort of behavior against our citizens.

00:57So we are hereby announcing the termination of all the people in the OTS

01:02who were involved in this incident.

01:05Based on the first investigation of the DOTR,

01:07the senior citizen was cleared from the X-ray scanner

01:10and was allowed to board the airplane to go to Vietnam

01:13when they were chased by security personnel for the physical inspection

01:17because they saw a bullet flying in her luggage.

01:21No bullet was retrieved from the group of passengers

01:24and they were almost left behind due to the incident.

01:27Because of this, the issue of the bullet in IA was brought up again.

01:31The investigation continues and the suspects are facing administrative charges.

01:36I am calling on our countrymen.

01:38If this happens to you, don't be afraid.

01:41Don't be ashamed.

01:43Report it immediately.

01:45Meanwhile, the Transportation Department did not overlook

01:48the incident of a power outage in IA last Saturday morning

01:53where there was no electricity for 5 minutes in IA Terminal 1,

01:56more than 20 minutes in Terminal 2, and 1 minute in Terminal 3.

02:01According to the DOTR,

02:03there should be no more than 1 minute for the electricity to return

02:06because there is a generator.

02:08The New IA Infrastructure Corporation is now cooperating

02:11with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines

02:14for a long-term solution so that the incident will not happen again.

02:18Connect directly to the National Grid

02:22because the requirement of the airport is very high.

02:25This is so that the supply of electricity to the airport

02:28and directly to the grid will not pass through the distributor.
