00:16The 25-year-old Filipino sambus has accumulated a total of 720 ranking points
00:21following her recent victory at the 2025 Asia and Oceania Sambo Championships
00:26held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
00:29Tancontian reclaimed the title of heavyweight champion,
00:32solidifying her position as the leader in her division.
00:36Sydney is also known as a five-time bronze medalist at the World Sambo Championships
00:41where she became the first Filipino and first Southeast Asian athlete to win a medal in the competition.
