00:00What is the meaning of the word wisdom? What is the true definition of wisdom?

00:12Some people see wisdom as sharpness. Some people see it as cleverness.

00:20Why others see wisdom as intelligence or smartness?

00:26Are any of these definitions about wisdom correct?

00:31The answer is no. None of these definitions about wisdom is correct.

00:39Since God is the epitome of wisdom, there is no book on earth.

00:48There is no book in the whole universe that accurately defines what wisdom is other than the Bible, the word of God.

01:01According to Proverbs 9.10

01:07The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

01:13The Bible defines wisdom as the fear of God.

01:19What is fear of God?

01:22Fear of God is the dread, the awe of displeasing God, out of the love we have for God.

01:32Just as a married man fears to displease his wife, out of the love that he has for the wife.

01:41The fear of God is the fear of displeasing God, out of the love and affection we have for God.

01:51King Solomon was the wisest king that ever lived because he was with God.

01:58He was the greatest king because he was with God and kept his commandments.

02:06But King Solomon became the most foolish man that ever lived when he deviated from God and started worshiping idols.

02:17But when he came to his senses, repented and came back to God, his wisdom came back.

02:23God reinstated him. He got back the wisdom that he used to have.

02:31This shows that the fear of God is the standard on which wisdom is defined.

02:39The fear of God is the basis on which the word wisdom is defined.

02:48If you do not fear God, cultivate the habit of fear of God.

02:55If you already fear God, continue to fear God.

03:01Fear God today. Fear God tomorrow. Fear God in your life.

03:05And you will surely reap the positive rewards now.

03:10And you will definitely inherit God's kingdom and everlasting life.
