Vet removes massive hairball blocking cat’s stomach

This is the grim moment vets removed a huge hairball from a cat's stomach.

Vet Meghan Vaught, 39, rushed a patient's three-year-old domestic shorthair to see the vet on February 23 after it showed signs of discomfort.

Scans then revealed a large amount of 'foreign material' in the cat’s stomach, which turned out to be a large hairball.

Vets then performed an endoscopy before carefully removing the "monster" hairball.
