Dramatic moment man escapes burning building - by jumping onto trampoline

In June 2024, Arian, a man from Teningen, Germany, escaped a burning building by jumping onto a trampoline placed by neighbours.

After noticing the smell of smoke while sitting at his computer, Arian found the stairwell filled with thick black fumes.

With no safe escape, he climbed out of his window and leapt onto the trampoline, bouncing hard before landing safely.

The fire destroyed two rooms and the balcony of his flat, with extensive smoke and water damage throughout the building.

The cause of the blaze remains unclear, and the flat below suffered flooding due to firefighting efforts.
