00:06Week across central Lancashire and the Fouled Coast.
00:10First up in Preston, it's the highly anticipated Preston Weekender between Saturday May 3rd
00:16and Sunday May 4th.
00:18Headlining this year is the world famous DJ Pete Tong and one of the UK's biggest bands
00:23of the 90s, Embrace.
00:25The Maybank Holiday Bonanza, which will again take place on the city's historic flag market,
00:31will also feature the best talent from the region.
00:34Each day the event runs between 6.30pm and 10.30pm and tickets are £20 per person.
00:42Over in Chorley, Sunday May 4th sees the return of the Chorley 10k and 2k Family Run event.
00:49The organisers, Chorley Council in conjunction with Fardco's runners, are looking forward
00:54to welcoming runners back to the streets of Chorley and Astley Park for a bigger and better
00:58event this year.
01:00The Family Run starts at 9.30am, has a minimum age limit of 4 and costs £6.50 per person,
01:07whilst the 10k starts at 10.30am, has a minimum age of 15 and costs £25 per person.
01:15Registration is required for both runs.
01:17Even if you're not running, you can still cheer on the competitors and there'll be plenty
01:22to enjoy at the Run Village in the town centre.
01:26In South Ribble, Bamberg Ridge Football Club will host a white-collar boxing event on Saturday
01:32May 3rd.
01:34After 10 years working across Preston, Chorley and South Ribble, white-collar boxing are moving
01:38outdoors for the first time for a Family Day event.
01:41As well as boxing, expect live music, DJs, food and entertainment.
01:48Doors open at 1pm and tickets are £30.
01:53Over on the Fardcoast, Only Fools and Horses is on at the Blackpool Winter Gardens Opera House
01:58between Tuesday April 28th and Saturday May 3rd.

02:44to the Blackpool Grand Theatre on Sunday, May 4th.
02:48The iconic Strictly Come Dancing judge is celebrating the release of his debut solo album, Revelations,
02:54with this special evening that will feature songs, telltales and glamour.
03:00The show runs between 7.30pm and 10pm, and tickets are still available, costing £39.50 each.
