00:00In other words today, Treasury Secretary Justin suggested that the current rate as high as they are now is effectively an embargo of trade between the United States and China.
00:08Do you see that?
00:09That's true. 145% is very high, and it won't be that high. It's not going to be that high.
00:16It got up to that. We were talking about fentanyl, where, you know, various elements built it up to 145.
00:23No, it won't be anywhere near that high.
00:25What will you think it'll come down to?
00:27It'll come down substantially, but it won't be zero. It used to be zero. We were just destroyed.
00:34China was taking us for a ride, and it's not going to happen.
00:40We're going to be very good to China, have a great relationship with President Xi,
00:45but they would make billions and billions and billions of dollars a year,
00:51and they would build their military out of the United States and what they made, so that won't happen.
00:56But they're going to do very well, and I think they're going to be happy,
00:59and I think we're going to live together very happily and ideally work together.
01:04So I think it's going to work out very well.
01:06But no, it's at 145%. It will not be anywhere near that number.
01:10This is my video update on this Wednesday, midday, April the 23rd, coming to you from Limassol, Cyprus.
01:23Let's talk about some news.
01:26And we are going to start things off with the Trump peace plan.
01:37The Trump peace plan. Peace plan from Trump.
01:39So we have the London talks taking place today, where the United States, Ukraine, and Europe are going to discuss
01:54the Trump peace plan, which is pretty much the Kellogg ceasefire freeze plan.
02:04And yesterday, the news came in that Whitcoff and Rubio were not going to be traveling to London
02:19to go over the final details of the peace plan.
02:27So Kellogg is the only one who will be traveling to London, which makes sense, because this is his ceasefire plan.
02:39Rubio and Whitcoff, they canceled.
02:44Whitcoff is confirmed to go to Moscow.
02:48That is still on.
02:51And after, after the news came in that Rubio and Whitcoff were not going to be going to London,
03:01and it was only going to be Kellogg, the European leaders, they also pulled out,
03:11as did, as did the Ukraine foreign minister, whatever that guy's name is.
03:17Anyway, he, uh, he's going to travel to London, the Ukraine foreign minister,
03:21but he's going to skip the talks for, uh, the, the peace plan.
03:27And he's going to meet instead with UK foreign minister Lammy.
03:33So the only people attending this, uh, this peace plan discussion is going to be Kellogg.
03:51And I imagine a bunch of, of lower level Ukraine and U S officials.
03:59I'm not sure, is the Yermak going to be in London or is he also canceling?
04:09What an L for Kellogg.
04:10This is a huge L for, uh, Kellogg and his ceasefire plan.
04:17Well, the, uh, the news also came in yesterday before everyone started to cancel the trip that, uh, that Alensky,
04:29he had rejected the, the Crimea recognition part of this, uh, this plan.
04:39Um, so he was speaking to, to reporters and he said, there's no way that Ukraine will, will be able, that I will be able to accept the, the de jure recognition of Crimea.
04:55He said, he said, that's impossible. It would go against the Ukraine constitution. He's not in favor of the United States recognizing Crimea.
05:05So once he made that statement, he also, he also said that, uh, he insists on, uh, having the door open for NATO as well.
05:14I believe he said that during his, his press conference as well.
05:17Anyway, he made all of these statements and then, uh, and then Whitcoff pulled out, which to be quite honest, is, is not such a big deal.
05:25If you ask me, I think the important person in all of this is, uh, Rubio, at least when you're talking about the, the Europeans and Ukraine,
05:34they really wanted the secretary of state Rubio to at least go to London.
05:39Uh, they understand that week, that Whitcoff is, is more aligned with, uh, June, 2020 for, uh, root causes Istanbul plus, uh, terms as far as a deal for Ukraine.
05:54So they were really hoping that Rubio would at least attend the talks in London.
05:59But after the statements that Alinsky made, Rubio also said, yeah, I'm, I'm out.
06:05I'm pulling out of this, or maybe Trump told Rubio, pull out of this.
06:11So Kellogg's going to take a big L.
06:13I would not be surprised if after the, the London meeting, which really doesn't have much meaning, uh, Trump dismisses Kellogg or sidelines Kellogg or something like that.
06:27Um, because according to Axios, this is Trump's final, uh, deal to, to Ukraine, to Russia as well, but this is really about Ukraine.
06:37This is Trump's final deal to Ukraine, except, uh, the recognition of Crimea will, will be okay with, with an EU peacekeeping resiliency force.
06:50As, as, as the Trump white house calls it, we're fine with that, but we're also going to provide Russia with sanctions relief and, uh, the, the NATO aspirations of Ukraine will be off the table, whatever that, that even means.
07:07But, uh, Lensky is not happy with the NATO thing.
07:09He said he cannot accept the Crimea thing.
07:11So it looks like Trump's final offer is being rejected by Ukraine before the London talks even get started.
07:23So that's where we are with, uh, with all of this, a big, massive L for Kellogg.
07:30Good call by, by Rubio, I would say to, uh, to not attend the London talks.
07:38Put all the blame on Kellogg.
07:40If I was Rubio, that's what I would be doing.
07:42I would say, man, after, after the comments that Lensky made, I would just be like, you know what?
07:48Uh, I'm not going to go.
07:49I'm not going to go to London.
07:50Um, president ring, ring president Trump.
07:52Uh, yeah.
07:53Yeah.
07:53Marco.
07:54Yeah.
07:54Marco Rubio, little Marco.
07:56What's up?
07:57Um, I'm, I'm not going to go to, to London.
08:00Is that all right?
08:00Yeah, that's cool.
08:03Put it all on Kellogg, man.
08:05Put it all on Kellogg.
08:06He's going to take the L for all of this.
08:08Um, I said in a video a couple of days ago, I threw it out there and I gave it a very
08:15low, uh, chance, very low percentage.
08:18But I said, what if all of this, this Kellogg ceasefire plan was just one big fake out by
08:26the Trump administration?
08:28Maybe this is their way of, of, uh, of presenting such a ridiculous plan.
08:33Trump saying, okay, just, just go with the Kellogg plan.
08:36I know it's going to get rejected by Russia.
08:38Uh, most likely it'll get rejected by the green goblin, but then I'll have my, my excuse
08:43to, to walk away from Ukraine or maybe, or maybe this is, this is a misdirection.
08:49I said this in the video.
08:50Maybe this is one big misdirection to get everyone focused on the Kellogg ceasefire plan.
08:55While, uh, while Wyckoff actually goes to Russia and the U S just continues to normalize
09:01relations with, uh, with Russia with, or without, uh, a deal in Ukraine.
09:08So maybe that's, that could be what's, what's going on.
09:11I don't know.
09:12Maybe, maybe I gave it, I think I gave it a 1% chance when I was talking about this.
09:17So let's bump that up.
09:18Maybe what's going on is, is a misdirection or presenting such a, such a crappy plan that
09:25it gives you the perfect excuse to walk away from all of this.
09:27Let's, let's bump that up to, uh, no, let's say 20%, 20%.
09:33I think that's, that's fair.
09:34So the financial times in, uh, in a panic, seeing what's going on the FT, they posted
09:43an article yesterday with the title Vladimir Putin offers to halt Ukraine invasion along
09:51current frontline U S floats recognition of Russian annexation of Crimea as peace plan
09:57efforts continue.
10:00So the FT, they reported that during the St. Petersburg meeting a couple of weeks ago
10:07between Whitcoff and Putin, that Putin had, had hinted to Whitcoff, according to sources
10:15familiar with the matter.
10:16This, this is what FT is, is reporting sources familiar with the, with the matter told the
10:22financial times, uh, those sources familiar with the matter.
10:25They're, they're always to be trusted.
10:27They told the financial times that Putin had hinted to Whitcoff that he would be okay with
10:36freezing the conflict and, and, uh, moving back from, according to the financial times,
10:46the maximalist, uh, demands from Russia, which is that the entirety of the four O blasts are
10:53recognized as part of the Russian Federation, he would be okay with just freezing the conflict
10:57along the current contact line and stepping back from the demand that the entirety of the
11:04four O blasts are part of Russia in exchange for some sanctions relief and for the de jure
11:12recognition of Crimea.
11:13That is what the financial times reported yesterday, according to people familiar with the matter.
11:19Yeah.
11:21So when you read through the rest of the article, it's very clear the, the purpose of this article,
11:26why this financial times posted this article yesterday, because then the article goes on
11:30to say that according to, to other sources, uh, other media sources, even in, uh, I believe
11:38they, they reference, uh, a media source in Russia.
11:41I forgot the name of the publication, but they referenced the media source in Russia, which
11:47also said that once, uh, Russia had liberated the entirety of Kursk, that Putin would be okay
11:54to, to stop the, the entire, uh, conflict.
11:57That's all he wanted was, uh, recognition of Crimea.
12:01If he got that, if he got some sanctions relief and then, uh, clearing out the Kursk, Putin would
12:08be fine to, to stop the conflict completely and that Trump was aware of this.
12:14And so the, the purpose of, of the financial times article, I think was to, was to try and,
12:21uh, and so some doubt in the decision by Whitcoff, but more importantly, once again, you got to
12:28focus on Rubio more importantly, so some doubt in Rubio's decision to cancel the trip to London
12:36because Rubio can, can read this article or the Trump administration, the neocons in the
12:43Trump administration, they could go through this article and they can say, look, maybe,
12:46maybe you should go to London, uh, Marco, you know, we know that Alinsky said these things
12:54about rejecting Crimea, but according to the financial times sources, Putin might be, might
13:01be flexible on the territories and, and the whole Kursk thing. He's liberated Kursk. So he's okay
13:10with, uh, with stopping the conflict. So it's, it's, it's worth you at least going Rubio. It's worth
13:16you at least traveling to, to Russia and, and meeting with Ukraine and European leaders. Come on,
13:22man, just, just don't cancel the trip. I think that was the purpose of the financial times, uh,
13:27article and it looks like it failed. It looks like it failed. So, uh, that's the, that's the FT,
13:38by the way, uh, Peskov was asked to comment on the financial times article and Peskov said only trust
13:45primary sources on us, Russia talks in an interview with Ria Novosti on Tuesday, Peskov was asked to
13:53comment on a recent report from the financial times that claimed Moscow is ready to halt the
13:58hostilities in the Ukraine conflict along the current front lines, quote, a lot of fakes are
14:04being published now, including by respected publications. So you should only listen to the
14:09primary sources. And that statement came out, uh, very quick, a couple of hours after the financial
14:16times posted posted, posted their article, Ria Novosti got this quote from, uh, from Peskov.
14:26A lot of stuff going down ahead of, of April 30th, because that is when Trump said that he is going
14:35to be walking away from project Ukraine. He said, April 30th, that's the deadline. So you can see,
14:39there's all kinds of, uh, uh, uh, positioning and diplomacy and fake news that is, uh, that is coming
14:49out, trying to influence the Trump administration in one direction or, or in another direction.
14:56Anyway, uh, Aristovich was asked why Ukraine should give up the four regions. One time Alensky's
15:06BFF Aristovich, now he is Alensky's arch rival, his nemesis, Aristovich, who has expressed interest
15:15in perhaps becoming president of, uh, of Ukraine. He was asked, why should Ukraine give up the four
15:23regions? And Aristovich said, and this is a correct assessment from Aristovich, for one simple reason,
15:31because in six months or a year, you will give away six. Not enough brains to take the offer,
15:41then eight regions you will give away. He's right. He is right there. If you don't, if you don't accept
15:50the four regions, then in six months, it will be six regions. In one year, it will be eight.
15:56And, uh, who knows if Ukraine will, or, or what Ukraine will even be after one year. That was, uh,
16:07Aristovich's statement. So I think that's everything with, uh, these, these London, London talks
16:17that have turned into a massive failure of which Kellogg will definitely, uh, take the blame for,
16:25for all of this. I would not be surprised if this is one, one big fake out.
16:32Whitcoff going to Moscow, continuing the normalization of relations while Kellogg is in London talking to
16:45some lower level, uh, officials and technocrats. And come April 30th, this is Trump's perfect,
16:56perfect opportunity to walk away from project Ukraine. If Trump doesn't take this opportunity
17:02on April 30th and he decides to, to continue to, to deal with project Ukraine, well then
17:09what, what can be said? What can one say if, if that happens? Anyway, uh, let's, uh, well,
17:18let's talk about the Pope's funeral, which is taking place on Saturday because Trump has confirmed
17:23that he will attend the, uh, the funeral of Pope Francis as has Ursula von der Leyen. She said that
17:33she will attend the funeral and Alensky has confirmed that he will attend the funeral and Alensky
17:40wants a meeting with Trump. And I would be very surprised if Trump actually gives Alensky a meeting
17:48because if there's one thing that has been taking place over the past month with all of these,
17:54these talks and negotiations around the, the Kellogg ceasefire plan is that Alensky has effectively
18:02been cut out. Notice how Alensky is not invited to any of these talks and you know, he would like
18:09to go, you know, how Alensky loves to travel. We know Alensky loves to travel, right? So if he had
18:17the opportunity to, to be invited to London or Paris, you know, Alensky would take that in a
18:22heartbeat, especially Paris, right? He would travel there with his wife, no doubt about it. But, um,
18:29but yeah, Alensky is, has been cut out of all of this. The United States, they don't want, uh,
18:34Alensky there. They don't want to talk to Alensky. And so it's Yermak that is, uh, going to all of
18:40these meetings and, and the foreign minister. And so I would be very surprised if, if Alensky and
18:47Trump meets, but, uh, you never know, you know, the green goblin, he's very persistent to the green
18:54goblin. So he just might find a way to, to run into Trump and, and corner him somewhere and, uh,
19:01and have a talk with him. Please, Mr. Trump, give me more money, more money, Mr. Trump,
19:06loan it to me on credit. Give it to me on credit. I'm good for it. Yeah. You never know. He just may
19:14corner Trump somewhere and, and managed to, to discuss some things with him. He's a persistent
19:22green goblin, very persistent. Anyway, uh, the funeral of the Pope, of Pope Francis, a lot of high-level
19:31officials will be attending. And, uh, we are getting news with, uh, Doge and Elon Musk that,
19:42uh, Musk will be, I don't want to say walking away from Doge, but, uh, spending a lot less
19:50time on, uh, on Doge and on his, his work at the, uh, or with the Trump administration and the
20:00US government. Musk stepping back from government work amid plummeting Tesla sales. Tesla's total
20:08revenue from car sales dipped 20% and net income fell in astonishing 71% during the first quarter
20:15of 2025. The company announced Tuesday on an earnings call with investors. Musk said, starting
20:21next month, I will be allocating more of my time to Tesla and that he will continue to spend a day
20:27or two on government matters as long as president Donald Trump wants it. Yeah. The tariffs, from what
20:34I understand, this tariff war has not been good for, uh, for Tesla. Tesla has a, uh, big presence
20:40in, uh, in, uh, in China and, um, and sales are falling. Gold is rising. Gold is at a record,
20:49isn't it? Like an all time record gold. And some people are saying that gold will even hit 4,000.
20:55Unbelievable. But, um, but yeah, Musk has to, has to pull back from, from Doge. He has to start
21:04focusing on, on Tesla, which is Musk's, I believe is Musk's real, uh, real love is, is Tesla,
21:13SpaceX, but, but Tesla to me is, is Musk's baby. And, uh, and he's gotta, gotta get that back on track.
21:22Things are very difficult with the tariff warrants. So they're going to need Musk to, to put all of his
21:28attention on Tesla, or at least more of his attention on Tesla. How successful was Doge?
21:35I think we're getting mixed reviews. They wanted to, to cut a trillion. Now they've scaled that back
21:40to a couple of hundred billion in savings. It's better than nothing, but it's not, it's not the
21:46trillion savings that, that they were, uh, hoping for. Anyway, we'll see in the next month exactly what
21:54Musk's role will be in the, in the Trump administration. If any, he may, he may just
22:02kind of fade, fade out of the, of the Trump administration and get back to, to running his
22:07various businesses, especially Tesla. So there was a, uh, an attack, a terrorist attack in Kashmir.
22:16I'm not, I'm not sure what happened. I haven't been able to catch up to this story, but a lot of,
22:24uh, a lot of people, uh, were killed in this terrorist attack. I believe over 27 people who
22:31were holidaying from what I understand. And there was a terrorist shooting. Trump posted on truth,
22:38social deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir. The United States stands strong with India against
22:45terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost and for the recovery of the injured prime minister
22:50Modi and the incredible people of India have our full support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts
22:56are with you as well. And, uh, Putin also
23:05expressed Russia's condolences over the deadly terror attack in India. Please accept my deepest
23:12condolences on the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack near the city of Pahalgam,
23:18the victims of which were peaceful people, citizens of various countries. Putin wrote in his message
23:24published on the Kremlin website.
23:36So we have the, um,
23:42the, uh, the photo, the, not the photo, the, the painting that was, uh, presented to, to Wyckoff when he
24:06visited Putin, the painting of, of Trump that was given to Wyckoff, a gift from, uh, from Russia,
24:14from Putin to president Trump. We now have that painting. So I'll put it up on the screen
24:21so everyone can see the, the painting by a famous Russian artist, which, uh, which Trump was,
24:29was touched by that is, uh, a statement from the white house. And here is the, the painting,
24:37the fight, fight, fight painting.
24:40So that was published, uh, the other day. I believe CNN, uh, published was the first to publish the,
24:48the picture of the, of the painting that was presented to Trump by Russia.
24:52So let's do a clown world and we can wrap this video up. I think I got,
25:02I got most of the news for the day covered on this Wednesday mid day.
25:09Yeah, let's do, let's do a clown world. And, uh, we are back with the WEF, the WEF making a lot of
25:23clown worlds the past couple of days. And this one's, this one's a good one. This one's juicy.
25:29We got some grifting, allegedly, allegedly some grifting going on in, uh, the WEF with Klaus Schwab
25:38and his wife eat them bugs, eat them bugs. So the allegations, and these are just allegations
25:48are that whistleblower, by the way, whistleblower allegations in the form of a letter,
25:54the allegations are that Schwab and his wife, that they took WEF money and they used it
26:07for, for, for personal expenses and for luxury travel, hotel massages and stuff like that.
26:20These are the allegations and these are just allegations
26:25against Schwab and family. The wall street journal is reporting world economic forum opens new probe
26:32into founder Klaus Schwab. Founder quit after board moved to investigate whistleblower allegations,
26:39which he denies, including the use of luxury property and travel.
26:45Man, I can't believe this. I cannot believe this. I thought that Klaus Schwab was a pretty
26:57standup guy. I'm shocked. I thought he was a pretty honest
27:01standup dude. I'm shocked that he might. The allegations are that he used
27:07W E F funds for the personal reasons. I don't know. I just can't believe that
27:14Klaus Schwab would never do such a thing, would he?
27:19Come on, man. I'm shocked. I am absolutely shocked. I'm taken aback by this whistleblower
27:24allegation of which Klaus Schwab said that he, he denies and he will fight in a lawsuit.
27:32He argued, he argued against the investigation, according to the wall street journal, telling
27:38board members that he denied the unsubstantiated allegations and that he would challenge them in
27:44a lawsuit to the people said. So, so I wonder if this has anything to do with his resignation,
27:52stepping down as the, uh,
27:54uh, as the chairman, the founder chairman, the chairman of W E F. That's what he stepped down
28:02from. And now we have a new interim chairman, the Nestle CEO guy who doesn't believe people should,
28:09should have the right to, to water, right? That's what he said in a speech in 2017
28:15because Nestle sells a lot of water. You should pay for water. Water should not be free. Come on,
28:20man. Um, yeah. So what did, uh, what did this whistleblower allege? It included allegations
28:28that Klaus Schwab asked junior employees to withdraw thousands of dollars from ATMs on his behalf
28:36and used forum funds to pay for private in-room massages at hotels. It also alleged that his wife,
28:43Hilde, a former forum employee, scheduled token forum funded meetings in order to justify luxury
28:50holiday travel at the organization's expense. Those are the allegations from a whistleblower.
28:59Do you guys believe these allegations? I don't, I don't believe these allegations. No way, man.
29:06Not Klaus. Not Klaus Schwab. He would never do such a thing. Oh, man. All right. That's the video,
29:20everybody. The durand.locals.com. We are on Rumble, Odyssey, Bitchute, Telegram, Rockfin, and X.
