00:11All right, it is First Responder Friday today. We have Susan on the phone. Good morning, Susan. How are you?

00:18We are doing great. So we get to honor your sister and your brother-in-law today, Chris and Vicki.
00:23Tell us about them as First Responders. What do they do? How do they serve our community?
00:26Um, both of them work at Meese Countryside. My brother-in-law is a nurse and my sister is a monitor tech on the Heart Ward.
00:39Oh, wow.
00:39And during COVID, they turned their floor into a COVID floor. So, yeah, they're pretty active in the health field.
00:49Right. Now, you probably didn't see them a whole lot during COVID just because of, you know, working in and out of a hospital, you know.
00:57No, no, we didn't. We didn't see them a whole lot because they would quarantine a lot. They stayed away. They worked long hours. It was it was pretty rough.
01:07Yeah. You know, we've heard from a lot of nurses and doctors and first responders that went through that and just had to pretty much say, I'm putting my own life on hold here.
01:16As I serve people, you know, on a COVID floor or whatever. Well, tell us about your guys' relationship. I mean, your sister and brother-in-law, they both work in the medical field. How would you describe them as people when they're not working?
01:28I couldn't live without them.
01:31Oh, wow.
01:31I can just tell you that. They've got me through a lot of difficult times in my life. They are the first people to be there whenever anyone needs anything.
01:42Right. And when they're both not working, what do they like to do together?
01:45They take care of their two kids who are at. Well, they have four, but the two of them are older, but their younger girls are in theater and dance and pretty much hanging out with them and doing kid things.
01:58Yeah. Full-time job. Their other full-time job.
02:02Yeah, exactly.
02:03Yeah.

02:13So maybe when they got a free moment or they got a chance to hang out as a family, they can do that and either have a meal on us or whatever they need.
