00:00Hello, good afternoon. I hope you had a lovely Easter bank holiday weekend.
00:04It's a good idea to keep your raincoat close this afternoon.
00:07We're expecting a day of sunny spells, but also plenty of scattered showers.
00:11The odd one or two could be heavy at times, or you could be lucky enough to skip the showers altogether
00:15and see plenty of sunny spells as they bubble up into this afternoon.
00:19But much more cloud across the Northern Isles.
00:22Shetland, for example, could see outbreaks of light, the rain through much of the day.
00:25And we also have this area of low pressure dragging in more cloud.
00:28Some quite heavy and blustery outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland later.
00:32But when you start to see those sunny spells, it will feel pleasant in the sunshine.
00:35Highs of around 18 to 19 degrees Celsius.
00:39Through the course of the evening, we'll see more and more of this cloud outbreaks of rain
00:42skirting their way eastwards across the country, moving into central and southern parts
00:46through the early hours of the morning.
00:47And it could turn quite heavy at times.
00:49There's a chance it might wake you up in the middle of the night
00:51and turning quite blustery too under the outbreaks of rain.
00:54But further north, plenty of clearer skies.
00:56So it's going to be turning a little bit chillier here.
00:59But elsewhere, a fairly mild night on offer as a result of all the cloud and outbreaks of rain.
01:03Now, this rain could linger for a time across central and southern parts through much of the morning.
01:07Still quite blustery and still rather heavy at times.
01:10But it'll eventually fizzle out through the course of the morning.
01:13But it's going to leave behind plenty of cloud and still a chance we could see some light outbreaks of rain too.
01:18But across Scotland, a fairly similar day.
01:20Sunny spells, but also some showers.
01:22Once again, these could be heavy at times.
01:24But by the afternoon, it's going to be a lot drier across Northern Ireland if you compare it to today.
01:29And once again, in the sunny spells, still feeling pleasant.
01:31Highs of 17, possibly 18 degrees Celsius.
01:35Now, for the rest of the week, there will still be some sunshine on the cards.
01:39Perhaps turning cloudier as the week goes on.
01:41And we do have this big area of low pressure out into the Atlantic.
01:43Once again, dragging in more cloud and outbreaks of rain as we head through Thursday and into Friday.
01:49So there is more rain, I'm afraid, on its way through the rest of the week.
01:52But of course, for more updates on that, you can subscribe to our YouTube channel.
01:56Bye-bye.
