00:36On the other hand, while Samirul Arif Othman of Global Asia Consulting acknowledged the need to expand the existing Kuching International Airport,

00:44he said the proposed capacity for the new airport significantly exceeds current usage, raising questions about potential underutilization.

00:52Samirul also raised concerns about the RM6 billion Kuching Autonomous Rapid Transit Project,

00:59citing potential costs, maintenance and infrastructure challenges with its hydrogen-powered system.

01:05Sarawak State Assemblyman Violet Yong had previously questioned the budgeted RM6 billion outlay,

01:11citing the high cost of hydrogen fuel and the decommissioning of similar vehicles elsewhere due to a lack of viability.
