00:00Now, I think we're going to try to head outside, and let's go and see if we can turn on the microphones and have Rick Metallico and Mickey Morandini.
00:11Rick, can you hear me?
00:13Yeah, I can hear you.
00:14All right.
00:16He does not sound happy.
00:18How about you, Mickey? Can you hear me all right?
00:19No.
00:20Not at all. Wonderful.
00:22All right, so those of you who have been a part of the Camp Out for Hunger for years know what we do.
00:27It's a game called Drop Quiz, and we have a very cool ride that has been a mainstay at the broadcast that we call the Can Drop.
00:35It's from Skelly Amusements, and it is a slow-moving ride that you're strapped to.
00:39It goes straight up in the air.
00:41It's this column, and it goes up like 80 to 100 feet, something like that.
00:44And at some point, it will just free fall all the way down, but you don't know when it's going to happen.
00:50You can't see above you.
00:51You have no idea where the top is, so the fall comes out of nowhere.
00:54Now, on the way up, we will ask our contestants, Rick Petalico and Mickey Morandini, a series of simple trivia questions.
01:02Now, while they're simple, you add into the fact that you don't know that you're climbing slowly and you don't know when you're going to fall.
01:09It kind of makes it hard to search for the answer.
01:10So in the back of your mind as you're answering questions, there's a little clock running.
01:15Yes.
01:15When is it going to happen, and that's what throws you off.
01:17And we will total up a point per correct answer.
01:21And, guys, I'll ask a question, and you just shout it out when you know the answer.
01:25Did you hear that?
01:26No.
01:26He just goes twice?
01:27Twice.
01:28Yeah, we might do it twice.
01:29By the way, if we can bring their audio up just a little bit because I'm having a little bit of a hard time hearing them.
01:33Well, just for the record, we're not doing this twice.
01:35All right, so when the ride begins, as soon as you guys start moving, Marissa, are you out there?
01:42I am, Preston.
01:43I want to set the scene a little bit more.
01:44Mike from Skelly's out here is rocking his old-school Mike Schmidt jersey.
01:49If Ricky looks over his shoulder, he's going to be able to look right into Citizens Bank Park.
01:53That's how high you're going to be.
01:54Wow.
01:55It's going to be fun.
01:55So, Marissa, do me a favor.
01:56As soon as the ride starts moving, just say the word go, and I'll start asking the questions.
02:02Go!
02:03Not yet.
02:04Go, Mike, go!
02:04All right, so Ricky and Mickey, you guys ready?
02:07Yeah.
02:08All right, let's begin.
02:09Mike Skelly, if you could start it up, and Marissa, tell me when they're moving.
02:12All right, it should be moving in just a moment.
02:14There we go.
02:15It's moving.
02:15All right, the outermost layer of the earth is called the what?
02:19Atmosphere.
02:19No.
02:20It's part of the ground.
02:21What?
02:22The crust?
02:23The crust.
02:24We'll give him that.
02:25That's Ricky.
02:25That's toothpaste for crying out loud.
02:27Michael Jordan gave up basketball to try winning.
02:30Baseball.
02:30Yes, Mickey got that.
02:31One-one.
02:32The attack on Pearl Harbor took place in which month?
02:36December.
02:37That's correct.
02:37Who was that?
02:38Is that Ricky?
02:38That's Ricky, damn right.
02:39In which state is San Diego located?
02:43California.
02:44Who was first?
02:44Me.
02:45Ricky.

02:48Published after her death, what did teenager Anne Frank leave behind?
02:52A dog.

02:54Her husband.
02:55A dog.
02:55Her husband?
02:56She was 14.
02:58It was her diary.
02:59We're moving up.
02:59What boxing champion was said to float like a...
03:02What?
03:02I'm a hoi.
03:04Mickey.
03:05Mickey.
03:05Mickey.
03:06Wiley Coyote.
03:07Who the hell are we up here?
03:08Wiley Coyote is always trying to catch what desert bird?
03:12The roadrunner.
03:13Yes.
03:13Oh!
03:14Time's up.
03:16Oh, that's delayed.
03:17Oh, that's delayed.
03:18Oh, that's delayed.
03:20I love that.
03:22Do you guys know who Anne Frank is?
03:24The diary.
03:25Yes.
03:26You have behind a dog and a husband.
03:29Well, I think it's time Marissa gets in the middle seat now.
03:32Back in the day.
03:33So they want Marissa in the middle seat.
03:34In the middle seat.
03:35Yeah.
03:35If we're going to do this again, she's coming in the middle.
03:36All right.
03:37All right.
03:37Okay.
03:38Marissa.
03:38So, Marissa, were you up for that?
03:39Oh, my God.
03:40Yeah, get in there.
03:41Yeah.
03:41Yeah, the crowd is cheering her on.
03:43Let's have Marissa.
03:44Can I have some tape to tape this microphone to my hand?
03:47I'm scared I'll drop it.
03:48Dude, I was not ready for that.
03:49Yeah, that's all I do.
03:50I don't know if we'll be able to hear her.
03:51Guys, I was not...
03:52She could speak into the mics.
03:54We're right next to her.
03:55All right.
03:55By the way, the...
03:57Why do you need to hear her anyways?
03:59Oh, okay.
04:00She doesn't have to play.
04:01She can just ride.
04:02She can just ride.
04:02All right.
04:02Fair enough.
04:03All right.
04:03By the way, the drop quiz is part of the Camp Alpha Hunger Games, sponsored by Bimbo
04:07Bakery's USA.
04:08I don't want to mention it.
04:09That was pretty high.
04:10So, right?
04:11It's about 90 feet, right?
04:12That was pretty high.
04:13Yeah, that wasn't very fun.
04:17Ricky Bowe had four in the first round.
04:18Mickey Mornini had two.
04:19So, four to three.
04:20See, that's wrong.
04:21No, it's actually 100% right.
04:22I won the one, and you gave it to Ricky.
04:24So, it's technically three to three.
04:25All right.
04:25So, there's a point of contention here.
04:27I don't even have to win one this time.
04:29All right.
04:29Who?
04:29Am I the only person up here not scared?
04:31I'm very excited.
04:32Well, they have to tape her in.
04:33You're not scared?
04:34No.
04:35They're literally taping her hand.
04:37They're taping the microphone to my hand.
04:39What we could do is if Mickey wins this one, we could call it a tie and then do it a third
04:45and have a tie.
04:46Yeah, they're up for that.
04:47We'll see.
04:48Yeah, a third doesn't do it for me.
04:49Or accumulated points.
04:51I got a good idea.
04:52If we tie, Marissa wins.
04:54All right.
04:54Yeah.
04:55All right.
04:55So, anyway, by the way, Campbell Soup is also the Campbell Soup can drop is what we
04:59call the ride.
05:00I want to make sure I mention that in there.
05:01All right.
05:02Marissa, you strapped in?
05:03I'm strapped in, Mike.
05:04We are ready to go.
05:05Aren't you out of questions?
05:06We got more questions for you.

05:08Marissa.
05:09Marissa, let us know when you're moving.
05:10Just say the word go.
