00:00Hey, we gotta go film the third episode of Two Guys, One Video Game in a minute here.
00:14They're actually letting us shoot a third video?
00:16Yeah!
00:16You mean after feeding each other chocolate ice cream?
00:19Ice cream, yes.
00:20After you somersaulting in with the fog?
00:23With the fog, yes.
00:24Everything, they're still good to do another episode.
00:26Okay, don't you think though for this next video we should kind of tone it down a bit?
00:32Yeah, that might be a good idea.
00:33Okay.
00:33Hey, what's up?
01:00It's time for another episode of Two Guys, One Video Game.
01:05I am Chuck the Freak.
01:06This is James.
01:07And this episode we're going to review Techno Kitten Adventure.
01:14Wow.
01:14Meow.
01:15Techno Kitten Adventure is another Xbox indie game.
01:18Thank you to the listener who emailed us the submission.
01:21The game was quite interesting, I would say.
01:24All you have to do is hold the A button down and it brings your kitty with the jetpack up
01:28and you release and it lets the kitty with the jetpack come back down.
01:31All the while, you're just trying to avoid these little star-shaped fields.
01:35Oh yeah, it sounds that easy, but it's not because the whole screen is actually going
01:39A-b***t.
01:41It is quite nuts.
01:42It appears like the inventors of the game don't want you to win at all.
01:46Like, there's a point in the game when you play the meat level.
01:49Yeah.
01:49Where you've got flying hot dogs, bacon, sausages.
01:52There are multiple cats that you can unlock to fly, and so it's kind of addictive.
01:58You want to get to the high score.
02:00Exactly.
02:01So that you can unlock these cats.
02:02You want all your different cat options.
02:03The cats you unlock, they're easier to control up and down.
02:07Oh, so cats have better stats.
02:09Yes.
02:10Would you call it a side scroller?
02:11I don't know what you would call it, but all it is, the screen just keeps moving.
02:15All these different distractions pop in.
02:17There's a level that I feel like, if you're in a 90s tween, you'll get this reference.
02:24It's like Lisa Frank on acid.
02:27Okay?
02:28Dolphins, unicorns, rainbows, clouds, stars, all that crap.
02:34And I'll tell you that you're going along okay, but then when the music breaks down,
02:39because I do believe it's designed to play this game and dance and sing to the music
02:45at the same time.
02:46And when the breakdown happens...
02:48That's when everything goes crazy.
02:49When the breakdown hits, the screen goes nuts, it's shaking, it can go blurry.
02:53It's almost impossible.
02:55I hate it.
02:56Yeah, I hate the game too, quite frankly.
02:58I thought it would be right up our alley, but I'm going to have to give this game kind
03:03of a thumbs down.
03:04Yeah, I'm going thumbs down as well.
03:06I'm not a big fan.
03:06Like I said, I'd love to love the game, but I hate it.
03:10Enough about what...
03:12He's on me.
03:13He's touching me.
03:15Oh, that's a good one.
03:16Oh, he's afraid of what James has done to him in the past.
03:20All right.
03:22Same to you, unicorn.
03:23All right.
03:23Well, that's going to do it for this episode of Two Guys, One Video Game.
03:27This is Chuck the Freak, and I'm James from Dave and Chuck the Freak.
