New Delhi, April 17, 2025 (ANI): Over Supreme Court hearing on Waqf Act, Advocate Barun Kumar Sinha representing Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta briefed on arguments put forwarded by Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta.Talking to media, Advocate Sinha stated, "In the Supreme Court today, the Solicitor General of India clearly states that no appointment will be made either in the Waqf council or in the board under the new amendment Act. The Solicitor General also states that the government will not de-notify the properties (Waqf-by-user) which are registered and gazetted till the next date of the hearing.
