Congress’s Imran Pratapgarhi welcomes SC’s interim relief order on Waqf Amendment Act

New Delhi, April 17, 2025 (ANI):  Reacting to Supreme Court's observations after hearing petitions challenging the Waqf Amendment Act, Congress leader Imran Pratapgarhi expressed gratitude for the interim relief granted. He stated “The Court echoed concerns previously raised by the Congress in Parliament, calling the ruling a victory for the Constitution. Law was unconstitutional and accused the government of attempting to grab land under the guise of amendments.”
