Boots at The Mall in Cribbs Causeway has received a stunning makeover with major upgrades to its health and beauty offering.

The store has been redesigned to create an elevated shopping experience and an expanded collection of products with the addition of more than 30 new premium brands, including Chanel, Prada, Milk MakeUp, Rituals and Aveda.

Customers can also now access new unique beauty services, including hair styling on GHD and scalp analysis from Aveda.

Starting today (April 16), Chanel has launched its first perfume in eight years, which will be exclusive to Boots for two weeks. The lovely fragrance is fruity and not overpowering.

00:00Hi, I'm Alexa. I am one of the assistant managers in Boots Cribbs and I
00:04predominantly look after beauty and fragrance. Can you tell us a bit about the recent refurb
00:10and what has changed in the store? Yeah, of course. So our refurb started in April last year
00:17and was almost finished at Christmas time, so we went into January. So we have had a complete refurb
00:23of the whole store. So we've introduced about 12 new beauty brands and we now have a really nice
00:28user-friendly baby section and we have lots of new brands for customers explore and in general
00:34the customer feedback has been fantastic, really exciting and a lot more user-friendly for the
00:39till area and for baby in particular. Can you tell us a bit about the brands that have been added to the store?
00:46Of course, so we still have our existing brands but we have lots of new exciting brands like Milk Makeup,
00:52we have premium hair like Kerastase, we have REM and we've had a bigger selection of The Ordinary
01:00which has been fantastic for us, same as Sol de Janeiro which has been really, really popular.
01:04We now have salon brands which is something that we never had before so people can have a complete
01:10kind of beauty fix when they come into store whether that's skincare with Lizzo and The Ordinary
01:16and cosmetics like Milk and Ultraviolet for sun protection and then they can also have their
01:24kind of hair analysed with Aveda and lots of different options for customers as well.
01:29Have there been any new facilities added to store? So we have had an extra consultation room,
01:34so for pharmacy it means that we can offer more services with Pharmacy First which has been fantastic
01:39so customers can come in and they've got more available appointments with the pharmacists. We also
01:44have our scalp analysis which is something which is brand new for us as well and then we continue
01:52to have our brow services on benefits so we have a brow bar as well. How have customers received the new
01:58additions to the store? So in general we've had fantastic feedback so whether it's more availability
02:04in the pharmacy with the Pharmacy First or more beauty options for skincare makeup and more available
02:11spaces for people to kind of play with products like the beauty studio that we have. It's definitely
02:17more user-friendly when it comes to the baby section in store so a bigger space which has been really
02:23greatly received by customers. I would say in general it was a much needed refit for the store
02:29we have a lot of loyal customers who have really enjoyed the refit and we've brought lots of new customers
02:33in with the new beauty brands in particular so in I'd say overall it's been a massive massive success for us in Cribs.
